Residents are great. Staff is good. Hopeful rates stay competitive.

Many of the staff I have interacted with have been very cheery & helpful. It's hard for me to evaluate activities. My dad doesn't necessarily participate in much except exercise classes. I think he enjoys those. My father had major concerns about the cost when my mom was still alive. She needed a lot of help & eventually had to be moved to her own room in Storypoint. While there was a slight discount to his monthly apartment rent due to paying for his apartment & my mom's room, it was a bit of a strain.

Mom is so comfortable in her apartment. She is very relaxed there and has been sleeping well at night. She was hesitant to leave her friends and move two hrs away, but is making new friends all the time. She says everyone is so friendly; both staff & residents. Staff is cheerfully helpful with whatever she needs. Sometimes we feel like the younger staff would benefit from a bit of coaching on accomodating seniors. For example, offering non-alcoholic or sugar-free options of treats & desserts. Many wear dentures so a soft cookie may go over better than something with caramel or toffee. Being short-staffed, if an activity does not have a leader available, or supplies for a craft, post a note somewhere so residents are aware it is not taking place. Overall, staff tries so hard to be accomodating. A very nice "place for mom."

I would recommend this place to others. The staff genuinely cares about the residents and keeps a close eye on them. We were looking for a place where she could have meals prepared for her and activities, yet still have her independence. It was also close to where My family could visit her. My mom felt comfortable there and all the staff was so nice. She also enjoyed being able to pray and go to mass in their chapel.

Mom broke her hip and was not able to rehabilitate, hence we could no longer care for her at home. Danbury was selected out of 5 facilities we looked at. It was nice to bring her furniture, pictures and decorations so she’d at least be surrounded with things from home.She was bed bound and unable to participate in the activities. We enjoyed she received holy communion every week. The food was not appetizing. An aide also threw out my mom’s dentures. She’d take them out and obviously when removing her plate they were thrown away. There was no way they could be replaced. There were good pcs, but one lied to my brother. He said no one had been in to check on mom for 5 hours. She lied and said she’d been in twice, but he hadn’t left the room. We were vigilant mom had 2 visitors, at times 1 every day. The care staff is understaffed. Nurses were great, Cap City was awesome. Basically all care staff is stretched, they do the best they can.

We do a lot of activities that are planned by the residents and not the staff. Bible studies, tailgating for the Buckeyes, Bingo and potluck dinners. If you don’t want to participate, that’s ok too. No one wlll criticize you. The only negative I see is a lack of consistency in maintenance and upkeep of the property. That needs a lot of improvement.

It was the best decision I’ve made for my Father. He is 88 but a very charismatic man. He loves to talk to people and the Creekside community welcomed him with open arms and he loves it! He feels like he has his own place and I see the independence that he displays more now that he’s amongst his community of people that are like him. Nice facility maybe a few upgrades and it would be perfect.

I am fairly new at this facility, having moved in the end of May 2024. I am slowly getting more acquainted and making new friends. The facility has recently changed ownership so there are a lot of changes going on (policy and renovations). The staff seems to be on top of things and keeps the residents informed. There are many and varied activities to keep residents entertained. The suites are small, but adequate. The food is very good and tasty.But I do think they serve too many carb items. For example mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese on the same entree. We are elderly and sedentary. If anyone needs extra care or therapy, programs are available for them. They contract with several agencies. One issue that I think needs further addressing is the emergency escape plan. Those residents living on ground floor and lower level have direct access to the outside.Those of us on the floor above and using either wheelchairs, walkers, or motorized vehicles would have a difficult time exiting

The administration was very professional and helpful.. The facility was clean and the rooms are nice. They tried to involve him in activities. Dining was served in his room if he didn’t feel like going to the dining area.

It was a very difficult situation. My dad just passed and his wife, my stepmother, had dementia that was quicky getting worse. Story Point Memory Care did their best along with hospice. Most of the family was a crose the state and country. When we could visit the staff was very caring.

Clean, nice facility. Staff is friendly. Residents are friendly. Food is only so, so. We were told a new chef had been hired. The food is not chef quality. The menu will say ‘baked spaghetti’ but they will serve a pie of spaghetti with some sauce on top and a sprinkle of orange and yellow cheese. Yesterday, the vegetables at lunch were just all the vegetables from earlier in the week mixed together. They need to do better.

There are many staff members such as [name removed] the social activities director [name removed] and [name removed] who are excellent. The issue I have is the timeliness of response when my mother pushes her button. It is important to also do more checks on her to ensure she is not sitting in wet diapers. The atmosphere is very good however the timeliness of response to the patients is lacking.

StoryPoint Naperville is a very good place as a senior living community. I have been living here with my wife [name removed] since last two months. The staff and caregivers are caring and very helpful. We are vegetarians and are having difficult time with meals. The chef is trying to be helpful. However for most of the meals (lunch and dinner) rarely there is anything to choose from entrees. We are ordering our meals from side dishes and supplementing them with yogurt and fruit juices.

Always friendly staff and always helpful.

Everything has been fun and a good experience.

Great floor plan choices . Facility doesn’t give feel of a nursing home when you first walk in. With being brand new there there were some hiccups but staff strives to overcome obstacles and learn from them.

It's a new and very open airy facility! Very clean very accommodative to individual needs! The location is very close to the grocery store and the ER. Nurses were very good. They worked very well with me being a nurse and being very involved with all my moms care

Overall it is a nice place and my Dad is happy here. The management has changed. They are not as friendly and have raise the rent in August this year and tell us it will go up again in January. Clutter is left in room. Most of the staff is friendly. There are always new staff. They don't stay long. The care is ok. The meals are fine my Dad likes the food. He doesn't eat much he is 98years old. He does not participate in activities. They are usually the same each week. As the cost goes up I am not impressed with the value

The staff is excellent. The care staff is generally caring and loving. It would be better to have more of them. They have so many roles, that they are spread thin. The food is healthy and excellent. The dining room is to small. I would like room cleaning to occur more frequently. We love the staff. My mother is content.

From the beginning management called you by your first name. Made you feel very welcome. Very very disappointed with the meals.
