The staff is nice... consistency lags sometimes in my dads opinion. They are clean and respectful... food is good.. apartment is good and they reply to work orders well. My dad doesn't do any activities but I see they have a plethora available. Very communicative staff overall good!

Staff is friendly as far as I know. She complained about a couple people moving her around (she can't move herself from her wheelchair to bed) and she said they didn't care if they were rough. Also, stated that she is left in her chair for a couple of hours when she asked to be put to bed. That's the bad that she told me everything else very nice. They make a good effort to get her to activities. I've had the food, no complaints. Room size just fine.

My mom is a resident, and her journey began with a couple of months in assisted living before transitioning to memory care, where she has now been for the past few months. The beginning was not easy—there were big adjustments and plenty of bumps in the road, both for her and for us. The staff truly had their hands full at first, but they were consistently kind, patient, and incredibly helpful as they worked to help her settle in and adjust. Since moving into memory care, she seems to be doing better and is much more stable with the support of medications and individualized care. This stage of life is an incredibly difficult one when it comes to a parent or loved one, but it helps immensely to know that she is being well cared for and looked after.

I have lived at this facility for 3 1/2 years and though no one grows up wanting to move into assisted living, we have to go the best place we can under the circumstance we are in. I have made many friends, and have enjoyed the many activities they provide. The food is quite good, and the facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is kind, and competent, and the atmosphere is family-like.

Apparently they've undergone many admin personnel changes in the last several months. There some confusion during the transitions, according to other residents. This probably contributes to some of my scores not being higher. Long-term residents seem to feel things are on the path to being "back on track" in these regards. So, I hope to see some positive changes in these areas. Overall, things are good.

We chose StoryPoint Naperville because of the overall size and that there are many activities, the social aspect. They talk about a family portal to keep track of everything, but they don't actually have one. I would like to see that up and running.

While having to select this facility for a loved one. We were satisfied with the care they received. The staff were very supportive and helpful in their handling of their care of the person. We had very good discussions about the care and supported in any way possible. The Administrative Staff all were excellent working through any change that occurred or situations beyond any of our control of the patient. The facility was chosen by our family because of its quality care and the professionalism of the Staff. Overall I would recommend the facility without any reservations.

Storypoint has a great memory care unit. It was great for my dad with Dementia. The staff was caring, supportive and compassionate with my dad. Sales/Admissions Director, Nurse Manager and Activities Coordinator and Executive Director were all amazing. They addressed our needs and concerns and provided excellent communication and accommodated all of our needs. Food was good and had great selections. Facility was always clear. Their interaction with staff and residents was great! I definitely will recommend this facility to others!

Very good, friendly staff. Meals are okay. Starting to get into activities. Sometimes I miss the craft I want to do. Not fond of the dining table so I like to in our room.

Everything works. Appreciates that power will always be on to cook and clean gives thanks to not have to worry about these little things anymore. I like it here, took me awhile to get used to my electric stove.

Pleasant livable until I couldn't get around like I used to but I will return to now I got around.

My dad had dementia and was in memory care. The staff was very caring and professional. The facility is lovely and well maintained. My only complaint is that when he was agitated and grabbed the wrist of another resident, our family was informed that he had to be sent off-site for a psychiatric evaluation. And while waiting to be sent to that facility, the family had to provide 24/7 supervision of my dad. As we did not have family available to do this, we had to hire an outside agency at an expense of about [amount removed] a week. I don't understand why this memory care unit, for which my Dad paid a premium over regular assisted living, would not do that evaluation on site and provide whatever supervision my dad needed. He was traumatized by his stay at the psychiatric facility and declined quickly upon his return to memory care. He died within a few weeks. I know his death was coming anyway but I wish his final days had not been so awful.

My mom has lived at Storypoint for about 1 1/2 years. Facility is very nice. Lots of activities for the residents, but my mom doesn't participate a lot. Several of my issues include that breakfast and lunch aren't served to the residents as part of their package. Additionally, there is extra cost (and it is pretty high) for additional care such as meds and showers. Those should be included for the cost of living there. Overall a good place, good staff, good food, etc.

I have lived at Story Point (formerly [facility name removed]) of Schererville for 8 years. There have been many changes and have been many changes and have accepted them all. At this time the food could be much better. Overall a very nice place to live. Activities and entertainment were excellent.

For the most part, it's fairly clean. Never the same nurses. He has had a lot of clothes come up missing (jeans and comforters) and other people's clothing are in his drawers. He had a ring come up missing that belong to his father. Gone. We replaced five comforters and about four pairs of jeans and a dozen shirts. At the moment to much has been taken so we would not recommend this community to others.

Everyone is friendly. Food could be better, less spicy, more home cooking. Activities good, I like the trips, restaurants, music, close up parking. Too much money for a pet, and covered parking spot.

My sister and I were in need of immediate need for our mother's medical issues and health decline. She called and the director at grace haven said they had an opening in ther facility . It was more than mom needed and cost more .He said they would charge us the leval of care mom needed and as soon as a room became available they would let us know and we could move her.The director was real helpful in getting us all taken care of which was real nice. Most of the staff has been real nice and accommodating, some not as much.The place is real clean and they most of the time take real good care of mom's needs . Some times though she calls and has to wait to long to get to the bathroom . But over all not bad. The place is real clean and the food is fine. Its hard to get in and out of the building some times . Over all I would recommend the facility if asked .

What we like the most about the community is that they keep the place clean and the staff are very good to the residents. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Resident is well taken care of facility is well maintained.

Nobody is mean, very good people. Everybody takes good care of me. Good food waffles, French toast and watermelon. I love Sunday
