Very nice facility with large beautiful apartments. Staff is very friendly and caring, while providing exceptional service. Food is very good and give a variety of choices! Daily activities that are fun and give a variety of options to choose from. Each time I go to visit my aunt the facility is very clean and smells very good. They also provide outstanding weekly housekeeping!

Wonderful facility with great staff as well as great amenities. Executive director ([name removed]) and director of sales & marketing ([name removed]) went above and beyond to make sure my parents needs & wants were meet. The Waterford at Ames is very inviting and comforting while being very clean. Housekeeping staff do a great job at making sure the building is clean at all times.

They also provide daily activities that give my parents a fun atmosphere to be involved in while providing them a choice of what they want to do.

The staff were all very welcoming and seemed to enjoy their work. They also have a large gorgeous courtyard with an infinity walking path, perfect for my "outdoors" Father! Finding a place for Mom and Dad to call home has been a lot to handle, but Waterford really helped put my worries at ease!

My mom and dad moved into Independence Village 5 years ago and they could not have chosen a better facility. The facility is beautiful and sits high enough to have gorgeous views of the area. More importantly, the staff is very caring and treats residents with respect. When my father passed two years ago they did everything possible to assist my mother with her loss. They also make residents' family members feel welcome. They take frequent trips for lunch and sightseeing, provide a variety of activities and bring in local entertainers. I highly recommend Independence Village.

Mom always liked it here and she liked the activities. Staff was usually helpful and the front desk people were always welcoming.

This is a top notch facility in Northern MI. Very nice inside and out. Meals and activities are nice. The community specialist was very friendly and helpful and all the staff seem to love their work.

This is a lovely facility with a wonderful staff. My parents are very happy living here. The apartments are nicely designed with balconies to provide access to the outdoors. The food is delicious (I’ve eaten here several times). Everyone on the staff is very friendly and seem to genuinely care about the residents. They work hard to build a positive community in which the residents feel at home.

New facility, looks very nice. Limited activities. Hard to really judge the facility yet as they are too new. Residents are just starting to move in. We were not able to see any activities or interaction between staff and residents.

My loved one and I visited numerous facilities and Story Point was the best. They moved to take care of her. The nursing staff is compassionate and caring yet professional . The food is excellent. The facility is well maintained. My hope is that [name removed] will be able to spend the rest of her days there, comfortable and safe.

The facility looks very nice the residents seemed happy. Staff was friendly.

We could not ask for a better facility for our father/ father in law to reside in. Every person from the executive director and nursed to receptionist and aides aare so kind, compassionate and caring. We recommend Ind Village to all who ask for our opinion on the best place for their loved one who need this care.

It is a wonderful place to live or have your loved one there. The administration staff, nursing staff, ect. are exceptional. Most of the aids were very nice and did a very good job. Having an independent living area as well as assisted living was important to me. They also have as many activities available , there is always something to do.

We were blessed to have our mother and father reside at IV! They found new friends, fun activities and a great staff to enrich their lives. thank you for providing a loving and caring environment for them.

[name removed] and her new team went way beyond the call of duty for Dad. Everyone was so caring and patient. I couldnt have asked for better care for my father.

I love the attitude of everyone who works these. Their patience is astounding and they seems like everyone loves their jobs and that is rare.

I like the chair volleyball and all the people who are here.

Excellent service, lots of activities, pleasant staff - would like a little more variety in meal selections but food is excellent.
