We have only been here two weeks, but so far are very pleased with our decision to move to Atria at River Trail.

Our family member lived at Independence Village for 4 years and required extra care. She was always treated with the utmost sensitivity and respect. The staff members became like extended family. They laughed and joked with her and they shared in her sadness when she was down. Many of the other residents became very good friends and together they had alot of fun and engaging experiences. There is so much available to the residents including wonderful meals in the dining room and other activities within the facility. No one should be bored or lonely or hungry with everything that is provided there! We trusted the staff to communicate any concerns or issues to us and were very comfortable knowing that our family member was in the best place that she could be.

I was extremely impressed with Powell. The staff was very enthusiastic and very supportive more active lifestyle for their residents. The residents that were there, when I went for my tour, were extremely friendly and very complementary about the facility. In addition to the multiple activities going on at the facility, some of the residents had created their own groups and were actually listed in the activities calendar. They had happy hours and went out as a group as well, The staff happily helped with the accommodations. The apartments were bright, cheerful with many options. The activities are geared to getting everyone more active and are in the midst or changing some of their activities to add even more movement options. This is definitely high on my list as an option.

Newer facility is light and airy. Good size 2 bedroom apartment includes an outdoor balcony which is a nice plus. Many amenities included in base apartment rate.

I am very impressed with the Staff and their thoughtfulness. Not many living centers can claim a staff that is at almost every event bringing their families and love ones to share in the love for family and their community.

Beautiful building, friendly staff, no odors except for the delicious food. I want to move in. Our neighbors moved in and are so happy and we love to visit.

Wonderful Staff! Warm building and community. Food was delicious and activities plentiful. Would recommend this facility to anyone.

Lots of interesting activities to keep residents busy. PT and OT are on site. Dr. visits once a week. Independent living available. Great staff and atmoshpere.

My grandmother lived here for 2 years. It was an amazing experience for her and our family. She met so many friends and was involved in so many activities she hadn't done previously. The staff is all so caring and friendly, you can tell they really love their people. The food is amazing too!

The building is beautiful and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Staff is able to answer questions as needed. There is a nice variety of meal choices. RN on site.

My father has been pleased with the cleanliness of the facility as well as the courteous and friendly staff. We would recommend this senior living community as a safe but independent means of living for a family member.

My father has lived at Danbury in Huber Heights for several months now and we couldn't be happier. He is making friends, staff is friendly and best of all he enjoys living there.

At first very overwhelming after a large home and then into a small apartment. Residents are friendly and employees are very helpful. We like that once a week our linens are changed and bathrooms are cleaned, and vacuuming is done. Our kitchen area is very small ( the one drawback), but I didn't want to cook anymore so that's okay but could use a little more counterspace to wash dishes etc. The location is great cause it is near drugstore, groceries, bank, and also close to our daughter who is helping us with elec-tronic things and so on.

It is never an easy process finding a new “home” for a loved one. From the very first visit to see the location and every visit since my Mom moved in, the staff has been just as friendly and accommodating. The apartments are very nice along with all the amenities included in the monthly rent. The activities offered go above and beyond anything one resident could possibly attend...so much to choose from! Did I mention the food? Your loved one will always have a variety of choices and will not be disappointed in the taste! I would recommend Senior Star...it is a very warm and welcoming community full of life!

Danbury in Massillon has been a wonderful place for my mother. She feels very much at home there and has made many friends. Danbury provides community events that encourage families and others to come and interact with the residents. My mother enjoys many of the activities available and also enjoys alone time in her apartment which is much better than a room at a rest home. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They are responsive to questions that my mother or the family may have. The food that is served is very healthy and provides a great opportunity to socialize.

Top notch care! Always recommend to families and discharging social workers. Very clean facility and excellent dining room. Brook is excellent to work with.
