We went with Independence Village because the staff were truly amazing and actually gave my mom a 10 day free trail there. They furnished the entire apartment and went all out to make her feel as comfortable as she could. The location was also a big factor, my parents spent 40 years here so she had a lot of friends in the area. The facility is gorgeous, my mothers apartment is wonderful, and the price we are paying is very reasonable for what we are getting. I really like the fact that she can start out independent and if need be move to assisted living but does not have to leave her apartment, they just bring the care to her. The other perk I like is she wanted to personalize her apartment and they let us hire painters to come in and paint her apartment. I would absolutely recommend to other families looking.

I would encourage someone to go and look at this community for their loved one. They have independent living and assisted living and it has been really good. The activities have been scaled back due to covid but they are still trying to do their best.

We chose Danbury of Cuyahoga Falls because of the proximity to our house as well as the whole physical set up of the facility and the apartment itself, it is more than she needed. The meals are great, they have a huge variety and they are chef prepared. We have been very happy with our experience and would highly recommend to others looking.

I think a facility such as this is only as great as it’s staff. The staff during my fathers residency has been exceptional. The day staff works hard and really cares about its residents. The evening and weekends were more laid back but staff followed through on details and responsibilities. Through Covid times were tough on everyone but the staff stayed on top of things and were very mindful of changing situations.

We chose Independence Village of Aurora because we knew someone else who was in the facility at the time and also the location is great for me, it is close enough so I can go see him almost every day. They have been great and we are very happy with our experience.

We live in the Vintage Co-op in Ames Iowa and the staff at Independence Village have made 3 meals for us. They are truly ambassadors for their facility. Even with Covid they served a beautiful Valentine, St. Pats and last night a Luau. We had to pick up 2 but they brought one to us. We really enjoyed their friendship and hospitality. They went above and beyond. Thanks

Went to fall festival. I enjoyed seeing multiple activities. From games to face painting. Dancing, cookie decorating, and lots of yummy food. Looks like everyone there had a great time and it was nice to see the staff having fun with the residents and their families along with the community. Can't wait to see what's planned for the next community event.
