My widowed mother experienced a rapid decline in her mental stability this spring and her needs were beyond what I could provide at home. My late father, a retired pastor, had visited church members at White Lake and came home each time with glowing reports. The hospital my mom was in at the time sent her to a different facility that honestly was a nightmare. I thought at the time they had tried getting her into White Lake but that was not the case. I quickly put my mother in the waiting list for the Memory care department and when mom was accepted in we immediately moved her over to White Lake. The staff have provided me with a sense of care and security and compassion for my mother. They know who I am when I call to check on her, no matter the time of day or evening. Some of the staff have not even met me in person but they know my mom’s personality and her quirks that make life better for her. White Lake provides a level of care,staff,cleanliness that is top notch .
