I would say they need to work on activities. Right now they don't have an activities director, but they're trying to hire somebody. But overall, the staff is super nice and very accommodating to my mom's needs. And Mom tells me she's happy with the food.

I was invited to join in the Fall Festival by [name removed] . I am so glad I went. The Festival was so much fun they had lots of activities for everyone. Face painting , pumpkin painting, games n free raffles just to name a few . I had lunch so good. And to see the residents having fun was the best. Singing and dancing remembering the good ole days. The DJ helped them have a good time with their music. [name removed] and her staff done one heck of a job they truly love the residents!!!! I can’t wait till next year!!! My mom has been a resident at Glen Abbey for about three years now. The staff and caregivers are very responsive to my mom’s needs, her wants and opinions. She has never had an aid or caregiver that has not treated her with respect and dignity. They care about her physical, emotional and mental health and provide growth opportunities for each of these areas. This is especially true in regards to the type of activities that are available to the residents. Each resident has their own clean and comfortable apartment, having the feel of an apartment with ample space and a feel of home and hominess. Mom has thrived at Glen Abby we believe at least in part because of the well-balanced diet provided and the comradery that goes along with every meal in the dining area. She has made some real friends that she enjoys getting together with either in the dining area or outside in the gazebo. Knowing that mom is happy and well cared for gives our family peace of mind.

They are amazing and my loved one loves the meals. This is an awesome community and works great for my loved one. He has been trying to recruit people to join the community. They have activities like bingo, exercises, field trips to the casino and restaurants. They play cards and keep the residents busy.

Everyone who works there goes the extra mile to make sure our loved one has everything he needs, they are all so accommodating and if we could give the staff higher than 5 stars we would. Our loved one really enjoys the activities and absolutely loves the meals. The staff are just wonderful, we have nothing but good things to say about them. They even let our loved one keep his cat.

Glen Abbey is amazing place! The main area is equipped with a comfortable sitting area for visitors or residents. The dining area for residents is spacious and always clean! The staff at Glen Abbey is friendly, compassionate and kind. The residents are more like family than residents. The residents are very friendly and welcoming, as well! Glen Abbey offers a variety of daily activities that residents are invited to participate in. I would definitely recommend Glen Abbey as a residence for you or your loved one!
