The staff at Danbury, Mt Vernon have consistently shown a genuine concern for my mom's well being and continued development in her community. Mom has been at the Danbury now for almost two years and we can't think of a better place for her to be in the region. We knew from our very first visit that she would be in very good hands. We first met with the sales manager but quickly realized that she does much more for the residents and pays very close attention to moms well being. All staff pay close attention to moms daily activities and helps out and intervenes whenever necessary. The front desk staff are always engaged and consistent in her safety and security and we know she is always in safe hands.

THE GOOD: Springwood is a great place for "able seniors. I moved here after my husband died 18 months ago. The staff members are super helpful. We get "light housekeeping" every two weeks. We have a heated garage and no long-term lease. Everyone has a balcony, washer and dryer. Twice-monthly trips include wineries and malls! There are cards, bingo, crafts, yoga and entertainment throughout the week. There a Sunday church service next door. The rent includes utilities, cable and a shared internet and fully equipped kitchens. THE LESS GOOD: The rent has increased 18 pct in the last two years, since a corporate buyout. Included in the rent are 8 meals a month, served at the nursing home. The servings are small and pretty tasteless. (I admit to being a bit of a food snob). They say you can get seconds, but the wait staff is quite short-handed. There is always an option to choose a chef salad or burger.

I couldn't be happier! Everyone here is very welcoming and attentive. I have many new friends and am enjoying the amenities.

[name removed] and the staff at Danbury Millersburg were patient and kind as we toured the facility to determine Dad's care. Danbury is not your typical nursing home. It feels like home with nursing, maintenance & kitchen staff.

My loved one began here Hathaway Hills journey one month ago. I'm thrilled with the facility, safe environment program for residents. The management oversight and positive vibes. The caregiving staff me amazing professional attentive and loving. Cost are computable to in dusty standards.

Overall very positive, staff are thoughtful, and kind. Always, lots to do for activities. I've used the shuttle to enjoy activities that were outside the community. I've enjoyed living here, I've met so many nice people that I interact with on a regular basis.

Overall, I give this community and staff an excellent review. The community is always clean and the staff are always friendly. There are always so many activities that my wife and I can participate in on a daily basis.

I was definitely impressed by StoryPoint Schererville! The facility itself is clean and has a comfortable feel. There were plenty of varied activites / events to keep busy and make it easy to develop relationships! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, you could tell they cared aboit their residents! Would definitely recommend!!

I moved here 2 1/2 years ago after I suffered a stroke. I could no longer live in my condo due to stairs. I felt very welcomed by staff as an residents. I use to say if you can't be home it's a great place to be. Now I say this is my home.

If you cannot be in your own home this is the place to be. Lots to do our residents staff and friendly.

It's the people! Everyone here that takes care of me truly care about me. I feel very safe and comfortable here. Just a feeling I can't explain.

Mom loves being at Danbury. She feels that she is well taken care of. The food is very good and they have a wide variety. The desserts are fabulous. There are always plenty of things to do to keep you busy.

My father moved in about 6 months ago and is thriving here! Like many seniors he didn't particularly want to come but from the point of the initial tour to the moving in process to now being a resident, Story Pont has been amazing. Their staff is incredible and Dad has really enjoyed it. As a daughter who lives out of town, Story Point has given me comfort knowing he is well, cared for, and safe. And all the residents have been a joy. He has companionship. I can't say enough good things about Story Point. All credit goes to my Lord who directed me here!! A grateful daughter!

It is not uncommon to hear of some fun activity or outing when talking to my dad in the evening. The caregivers know my parents’ names and greet them cheerfully. The memory care team meet my mum right where she is, and it often changes daily or moment by moment. For example, if she needs to sleep longer, they accommodate and adjust the morning. We were told several times when we moved my parents in, this is your parents’ home. We were able to put their things on the walls and make their apartments cozy. The patio area outside of my dad’s apartment and the slider doors have been a huge blessing. It is not uncommon for me to walk in and find him enjoying a cat nap in the sun. We not only have found staff that we can entrust with our loved ones, we feel like we’ve gained friendships as well. The front desk personnel know my parents, several of our family members and engage us all in conversation while keeping an eye on all who come and go. We are thankful for StoryPoint!

Staff is always friendly and addresses my FIL by name. Daily activities to keep busy. Comfortable and large unit.. Great communication with staff. Always feel like I can contact someone. Food is great. Thanksgiving buffet was outstanding. No reason to ever cook again!

My father has been residing at Boulder Creek for the past year after experiencing some health challenges. It was a difficult adjustment moving from his home of 50 years to a new place. This said, Boulder Creek has been the perfect place for my dad providing a safe environment for him free of stairs and obstacles that were risks in his former home. Additionally, the Care Team provide very good care to my dad in a compassionate, respectful and patient manner. There is a good mix of male and female residents as well which is nice along with several veterans. The facilities and common areas are clean and well decorated. And there are plenty of activities for residents to take advantage of. It took my father some time to partake in the activities but he seems to be engaging more and more. The social connection via the daily meals in the dining room has been wonderful for my father. I would highly recommend a review of Boulder Creek if you are looking at Assisted Living.

My family recently toured Boulder Creek Assisted Living for a place for my younger sister. She is confined to a wheel chair and needs assistance with daily personal care and other needs. This place was so beautiful compared to the current place she was staying that in my heart I knew that she was not going to be able to afford such a place. However, [name removed] and his team made it happen for [name removed]! She loves Boulder Creek. She has her own room with her own bathroom and this room is bigger than the one that she was sharing at the other place. The meals are good and if it's something she doesn't like or want they make her something else. The staff is great and always available to talk to. We are all very happy with Boulder Creek and the staff!
