WLAL&MC is a caring place for loved ones to come and call “home”. This transition has been rewarding for our family because of the warmth, respect and care shown to our mom. WLAL&MC skilled medical care, staff attentiveness and friendliness, facility cleanliness, daily activities and peaceful setting equips our mom to flourish! Surrounded by woods our mom is able to see wildlife from her window as well as the sun shining in which brings her much joy. When I am there or calling to check on her, I get a thorough medical update and am encouraged with the staff’s tenderness to relay a funny story or heartwarming action my mom did. WLAL&MC’s management and staff create a team environment for the best care for our mom.

Devonshire Retirement Village has been my mother’s home since [date removed]. She has been hospitalized several times since she arrived as well as being admitted into hospice. The staff has been incredible caring for her. Because Devonshire is relatively smaller than most assisted living communities, the employees also offer friendship and emotional care and support. The activities bring some fun and laughter. Management has also kept us up to date on procedures or changes brought on by the Covid pandemic. Additionally, maintenance and housekeeping have been exceptional

We toured Boulder Creek and thought it was beautiful! The rooms, the facilities, the courtyard, the meals, the welcoming residents, the activities, and the friendly staff all seemed so welcoming and nice. We thought "This is exactly what Mom needs!" From Mom's perspective, she didn't necessarily agree with that - didn't agree that it was a good idea. Boulder Creek said to give her a month to acclimate. In a week, she was sold. All the benefits of Assisted Living at Boulder Creek became evident to her and she is having a blast living there. Boulder Creek made a very difficult decision to be much less stressful. We're glad we chose Boulder Creek!

The staff is really friendly and easy to talk to. I’m thankful for them embracing my mom and trying to accommodate her ever changing needs. They treat her like a friend and with respect. I truly think we made the right decision by finding Crestwood for her residence. She loves the staff and enjoys her time living there.

This is a great facility the residents are very well taken care of speak highly of the caregivers.

My mother was a resident at Gaslight for the last several months, unfortunately her illness caused her to be in and out of the hospital during her stay making it a difficult situation. The staff at Gaslight went above and beyond in their efforts to make my mother comfortable and to ensure her medical and personal needs were met. My mother enjoyed the many activities which included a regular exercise class, crafts, bingo and many others. There was always something for her to do. I can not say enough good things about this facility and encourage you to check them out if you looking for an Assisted Living Facility for a loved one.

I recently was able to visit this facility as a special guest, and was genuinely happy with everything I saw. The building is secure, and safe. Very clean, and bright. Every resident that I met, or just saw in passing, seemed to be extremely happy, and content. I met with several members of the staff from kitchen workers, to management, aides, and custodial workers, and everyone was pleasant, helpful, and caring. They had a friendly relationship with the residents. The activities are fun, and surprising, to keep everyone entertained. I was there for roughly four hours, and enjoyed every minutes of my time .

Everyone is very welcoming and warm, so are the workers and the people in the offices. All are very helpful to a lonely old lady and thank God he brought me here.

What a wonderful retirement home! The staff cares so much about the residents. And the building looks beautiful!

I toured this community and loved the personal touches. It looks like an upscale hotel instead of a dated retirement home. I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with their improvements.

My parents really like it here. Their only complaint is the food. There was a problem with a chef leaving, so the food is just inconsistent. But they like the activities. Everyone seems really friendly. And the staff are very willing to help. They made the move-in process and transition go smoothly.

It is no question that Maple Lake is a 5-star place and it is easy for me to say that. This is a community where everyone truly cares about each other-both staff and residents. I love that I can keep my independence, I have the freedom to participate in all of the different activities or do whatever I want. I would highly recommend Maple Lake because it is unlike any other place.

I like our room, its big and comfortable. The staff is all very nice. The food is always good.

This place is phenomenal in every aspect. I would highly recommend StoryPoint. We've met so many nice people - staff and other residents. The food is phenomenal. They have all kinds of activities every day. I think it's definitely worth the money. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them. My mom had a blast there. I feel like they gave me my mom back for those last few months of her life. I was able to be her daughter instead of her caregiver, and we had so much fun together. I'm so thankful for them, and I have those memories to cherish forever.

My brother moved to Independence Village last June. He tells me frequently how glad he is to be here. He likes the food & says everyone is very nice. Since moving here he has made several friends & is participating in activities. Before moving to Independence Village he lived alone in a condo several states away. Whenever I go to visit my brother the staff greets me by name is happy to help if needed.. I have been a frequent visitor to several other senior living facilities for about five years prior to choosing Independence Village.

Our sister had a series of strokes and had to be moved from independent living to assisted living. If you are researching for your loved one I can't recommend Independence Village of Fishers South enough. They truly have a fantastic staff, homelike atmosphere and great facilities. I can't speak highly enough of them, and our sister is extremely happy. Jennifer Cruser is amazing for reasons to numerous to detail here. We tend to be exacting in our family, so know that we visited 6 facilities and tried one before she moved to the Village, and the difference is remarkable. Leadership, people, communication and caring matter! It was a difficult time, but sis is doing so well here.

My husband and I checked out Devonshire about 5 years ago and said this is the place to be if and when the time comes. My mom has been there since Sept.of 2021.The first thing that impressed me was, when my mom arrived there ,I was texted to let me know she got there safe and sound.Because I live out of state that was comforting to me. I can't say enough about how gracious and loving the staff is at Devonshire and my mom really likes it there and feels safe and secure. Thank you Devonshire .
