Mom has lived at Story Point Waterville since they opened in 2018. She has her privacy and independence but all the benefits of living in a senior community. Staff is awesome and the buildings are always clean and decorated tastefully like home. Everything she needs is there- meals, bistro, salon, housekeeping, laundry, activities all day, church services and communion, shuttle trips and more. Her living at Story Point has reduced her stress and enriched her life. Plus peace of mind for us who love her!

We chose SotyrPoint Waterville because of the kindness of staff. Cleanliness. And cheerful atmosphere. They are very honest and have the residents best interest at heart. It is family living. The admissions person,[name removed], was so sincere and helpful. His interaction with mom and others in her neighborhood is priceless.

Staff is friendly. They try to meet your needs. They will fix special food to meet needs. It is expensive, however similar places compare on price. Oh, I got significant help from PT. I wanted to stand up straighter, and they gave me exercises that helped improve my posture. I want to qualify my rating on food. First, after eating with different people, someone will think a food served is terrible and another person will accept it without complaint. I have my own issues with food because I don't eat beef, pork, or chicken. They do try and accommodate me as much as possible. The other night, my server said he could bring me a salad with ham on it. Well, it came with salami. I went back to my apartment and fixed stuff for myself. I try to keep stand bys for that type of situation.

It's a nice place. Of course we would all like to be home, but this is the next best place to be. The food is good, the staff are nice, we always do some activities and we are busy.

A Senior Care consultant introduced me to StoryPoint Powell North Memory Care for my wife. It was my first and last consultant referral. Upon meeting the staff, I felt very comfortable that she would receive proper care. Those promises continue intact. My spouse loves the staff, the setting and her apartment. It’s almost a year now and we remain pleased with her care and the facility. For us there was and still is no other choice. I have recommended this location to my friends who have relatives that perhaps may need these senior care services.

My MIL has lived there for the past year with her companion. From day one, the friendly and thoughtfulness of the entire community was more than we could have imagined. The rooms are large and services and amenities are exceptional. How nice it is to just be able to walk down a hall and get your hair done at the salon. [name removed] does an amazing job!! If you have a loved one looking-this should be the top of your list.

For the 14 months my mother was in residence, she was cared for and supported by every employee at Woodlawn Meadows. From helping her bathe to nutritious meals, she wanted for nothing. For the family, [name removed] and [name removed] were always available to consult/discuss. They have been so much help!

I love it here, I love the food and I plan to stay here until the good lord calls me home.

I am a recent widow diagnosed with cancer. After numerous falls and hospital visits, it was apparent to me and my children, that I needed a place to have meals and other care provided to me! I have found all this and more at StoryPoint! I have found a family to supplement my family.

The people that work here are very friendly and helpful! They come up with a lot of good things to do. I feel like I can come to them if I have a problem. I have enjoyed my home here.

The care at Springvale has been up and down over the years. Mostly the care has been very good and presently it is at a high level. Appointing a director of Memory Care has helped immensely. Numerous price increases are very difficult for people on fixed incomes.

Independence Village in Oxford has been wonderful place for my parents! Their health has greatly improved since moving in, and it's reassuring to have emergency services available, if needed. The food is fabulous & they love all the fun activities.

There are many things I like about StoryPoint and it is hard to pick out one area that stands out. The one area that stands out the most are all the activities that are offered. I love to stay busy. With all the programs planned I can keep busy and benefit tremendously from all the programs all day long.

I love the opportunity to help others - it gives me purpose. I enjoy relaxing and having the option to choose what I want to do.

What I needed the most after my husband's death was interaction with people-this community provides an entire community setting. I feel like they are family. Not just other residents but the entire staff. I have purpose again and I know I will make it.
