The staff is friendly and they genuinely care about taking care of the residents. Even the cook will come out of the kitchen to check on the residents. There is a family atmosphere, and you can always find people out in the living room.

Great staff, clean facility and met our needs for a short term stay.

The biggest issue we had was when we couldn't reach my mom and I called the front desk and asked if they could go knock on her door and see if she was there. The person at the desk said she couldn't leave the desk unattended, but she would look in about an hour. I didn't find this acceptable and said surely there is someone there who could take one minute to go check. But no. She ended up being fine but she could have just as easily had fallen and laid on the floor for who knows how long. But overall I really think that Thunderbird was very good.

The Forum is a great choice - as one of the residents told us early on - most of the residents don't want to be there - they would rather be with family or with loved ones - but if you need an independent/assisted living option it is a great place to the people and staff are friendly, apartments are clean and nice sized. The kitchen has been great but has been having some slight issues as of late.

We are very happy with Lakewood Reserve! Our mom is doing as well as she can be at her age and Lakewood Reserve is a wonderful facility with great staff!

It is a very nice looking independent living place. Everything looked very nice lots of different things to do there. The outside looked quite niceand the view of the sandia moutains. It is a very good view and the prices and within reason.

We would rate the overall experience a 4.5. Although we only stayed at The Palms for 2 months, we did like it pretty well. The apartment had good storage and a laundry on the balcony. The management kept the place very clean and in good repair. The food was generally good, but we didn't care for the hours. The grill closed at 5:30, and the dining room at 6:00. We were used to eating a little later. There are people available for caregiving and dog walking at a reasonable price, but they have to be scheduled ahead. Assisted living is available in the same building. There is a pool and exercise room. No lifeguard. The gardens are very nice. Also, parking is gated, and there seem to be a number of activities. Hope this is helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful sraff. Lovely cared for facility. Lunch was well presented and tasty.. The rooms were some what specious. Decent price monthly. I am ot a fan of where it is located. It is gated, which helps. Residents appear happy, which is important to me.

Excellent full circle tour of of a very nice facility. From start to finish, we were well tended to, all questions answered, and we left with a feeling that this would be a balanced place for our relative.

The cleanliness is based on independent living (5 for the assisted living per view of a family member). The families liked most of this community is The concern for my brother. Maintenance and new director[name removed]. Improvements: better food company. My family member said that at first the food was great but now it is barely edible. Quickly helped family member with placement for independent living at a reasonable price. Thank you maintenance guys, the front desk [name removed]. and Director [name removed].

My father was only there for 102 days. The only issue I have with Thunderbird Senior Living is they charge a $3500 one time fee. Since I knew my dad was going downhill quickly, I asked if this fee was negotiable. They replied "of course." After my father passed, I had to fight to get any of this $3500 one time fee back. They eventually refunded $1500. I thought this was outrageous for the short time that he was there. Hospice was in charge from 2/14-4/2, which is 47 days of the 102 days my dad lived there. My family and I were visiting my father every day. I think my dad got good care because they never knew when someone was coming. They did know we were coming every day. Towards the end of my dad's life, I would have to request the caregivers to change my dad's pad. They seem to be neglecting that care at the end of his life.

The staff is great! They all know my dad and are very kind to him. His room and other areas are clean. They always have some kind of activity going on. My biggest complaint would be the food. Not the best quality is selection.

Building is older. Cost is affordable, residents were in the lobby enjoying time together. Center felt friendly and residents were interactive. Looked like a variety of activities that my mom would enjoy.

Because of weather causing travel problems we had a video tour. The facility looked very nice and the tour guide gave us lots of information and was able to answer our questions. We anticipate having an opportunity to view the facility in person.

The experience with the caregivers was a 5! Everyone within the facility was wonderful to work with!

Courtyard at Jamestown is amazing. I call it a 4 Star Cruise on land! There are activities all day long from 9 am to 9 pm. There are so many quality entertainment groups who volunteer to perform that they turn many great groups away. There are field trip excursions by bus 3 times a week MWF. Every Thursday is a trip to the Payson Temple. Church services on site. May choose doctors who visit on site. Staff members are very kind.

They had more availability on room types. The grounds are very well maintained and provide a very soothing environment. The staff is very helpful, but they need to be more consistent with their information. The continental breakfast in the studio wing is very minimal and limited in their breakfast selection.
