Stellar Senior Living

This facility is lovely and yet more affordable than many others we looked at. Our mom lived here for while several years ago and now we have moved another relative here. It is still the nicest and most affordable mid-range Assisted Living facility in the area. The staff is very caring and there are lots of activities. The dining room offers nice food and a restaurant environment where residents can even order wine with their meal. But only one glass, which is wise. The only problem we have encountered is trying to line up the local phone service. It has happened both times we have moved a loved one in. You have to insist with the local phone company that they send a warm body to the facility and not try to connect locally. That was a hassle that I feel is unnecessary. Overall I would give this place a nine out of ten.

My mom is doing very well here at this community. the staff is excellent and always very caring and considerate. The food is good and a nice variety good portions. Very clean on the inside and outsid . I would recommend this for others needing good care for family.

The food is delicious and there is plenty of it. The kitchen staff ask the residents their needs and preferences and cater to them. The staff are caring, very nice, knowledgable and it is a loving atmosphere. The community is kept clean and they have beautiful flower beds around the building. They offer various activities including fishing and feeding the ducks.

I've been here for six and a half years. I really like my stay here. I like the personnel and the other residents. Good entertainment. I would certainly recommend Overlake Terrace to others. I am very happy here.

It's a pleasant and courtiers community. There are a lot of good residents here, very friendly. So many activities from pool table to ...you name it. My wife and I live here for 2 years and very happy.

I think it's a great place to be. All of our needs been met. So many activities and so many things to do here. I love the staff, they always smile and I feel great. It's absolutely great place.

Very nice place. My sister lived here before. I was living in different places and this one is very nice. Everyone is very good here. I would recommend Overtake Terrace to anyone.

The staff made it very easy to make the transition to assisted living . Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We are pleased to see the full level of care and service they receive. The food is great, the activities are varied and fun, and our parents are enjoyed.

We loved The Reserve at North Dallas. It was a very immaculate community. The staff that offered the tour were simply wonderful and gracious. We would have chosen The Reserve if it wasn't so far from family. We appreciate the help A Place for Mom gave us!

Broadway Proper Retirement Community is a very well kept and clean center. The staff have been wonderful with communication and keeping me informed with the care of my mother. They offer a wide array of activities for the residents to participate in. My mother is really enjoying the variety of food offered.

Brookdale Heritage Palmeras has a lot to offer. They have a swimming pool and activities on site. The tour guide was very courteous and knowledgeable. The community was clean. Meals are offered to the residents. There is no smell when you walk in. I would recommend a tour of this community.

The tour was very pleasant. The staff that offered the tour at Brookdale Heritage Palmeras were very receptive and addressed all of my concerns. It is a beautiful community and is very well kept and updated. They offer many activities for the residents to partake in.

I have lived here since 2013. This is my fourth assisted living community since 2011. I came here after intense research that included conversations with residents and staff at several prospective facilities. I feel that this is what I have been looking for all along. The food here, combined with excellent service, make our dining experience second to none. We have a culinary school trained Executive Chef who makes every meal a much anticipated delicious adventure. He is assisted by a dining room manager who trains a cadre of servers operating at 5 star levels. Monthly menu meetings allow all residents to express their likes and dislikes that help the kitchen keep a pulse on how the food is received. You can participate as much or as little as you wish, in a vast array of activities that try and cover most interests. We also offer several fitness programs each week for all levels of participants. We also have a friendly staff and department managers, led by our General Manager, who genuinely cares about all of us. There is no such thing as the perfect place but this is as close as you'll get.

I really wish that they would add more items to the menu. I was told there would be many options and they keep repeating the same meals and only offer two choices. I really like that there is an elevator in the community i can move around much easier. I feel that it has been a safe community. The staff is very courteous and are always on top of things.

So far, everything about The Oaks experience is Great.

It is a wonderful community. My father in law is doing very good the staff treats him very well. It's clean and up-kept. They do offer various activities for him to participate in. He is very comfortable and feels safe. We would definitely recommend this community to a friend or a loved one. I would move in here if i was able to its great.

My father was here at this community for a respite stay. Everything went very well, they did a good job caring for him and his needs. Everybody was wonderful and friendly. They provided him with great care. He was very pleased with the meals, the food is good. Overall everything worked out very well.

Absolutely loved this facility. The energy of both staff and residents was great. Only licensed to care for 60+ so it didn't work for us. But it was a place that I, as a 35 yr old, would love to retire to one day!!

The food at Broadway Proper is great. They offer a lot of healthy choices. My mom is doing great since moving in. The staff are great and I appreciate the way they interact with her. This is a clean well taken care of community.
