I say good overall. Other people I talk to like the Oaks. Some of the hospice staff I met recommend the Oaks. I like the dining area it feels open

Wonderful staff ... nice big rooms ... extremely attentive to my mom in Memory care ... they get back to me on everything... Overall my mom loves it, so I love it!

One of the best things about the Courtyard is taking the residents on excursions 3 times a week and providing activities during the day!

If we could give the friendliness of the staff 10 stars we would! All of the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Our loved one feels at home in her new place. Based on the experience we have had so far with Thunderbird Senior Living, we would absolutely recommend the community to other families.

I am extremely pleased with the care my dad is receiving. I have found that the majority of staff is extremely friendly and care greatly for residents like my dad who is in Memory Care. Excellent community!

Lincoln Court Stellar Staff was most helpful and supportive. Breakfast for 22+ was set up in the Activities Room 9:15 on a Saturday. Fruit, hot eggs and sausage, fresh sweet rolls, variety of juices. Clean room buffet style. The ambience resulted in robust conversation. I appreciate Lincoln Court Staff for supporting this event in celebration of Mom’s 97 years. She is not as mobile as once was and Lincoln Court was the very best place to celebrate. This is an example to us all of Stellar Living. Sincerely,

Mom loves it there. She loves that the staff calls her by name. She loves the food and the activities. She especially loves the "food flair" where they prepare recipes and she gets to participate. She loves the external musicians that come in to entertain. We have been very pleased with everything at The Groves by Senior Lifestyle!

We toured with Gardens of Scottsdale and they were very high up on our list, we liked the facility a lot. The only downfall was that it was not a memory care specific facility. We felt better with out loved one being in a memory care only facility.

Our family had a virtual tour with Gardens of Scottsdale and the staff members we met with were excellent, we thought it was a great tour experience and they were great with our loved ones.

The staff were awesome and easy to work with. We got all the information that we needed to help make our decision. The facility was a little bit older, but in good repair. It had a very good feeling about the place. Some facilities I’ve been in have been very sad and heavy feeling but not Lincoln Court.

I would highly recommend this loving community of people. The staff really cares and makes sure all needs are covered when they arrive. I picked this community because it was close proximity to my daughter. I'm glad I'm here.

WE had a good tour experience with Southgate Senior Living. The facility was more new and looked like an overly modern hotel. We wanted a place that felt more homey. It was also way out of our price range. I did not observe any handicap, so it seemed like it was for people higher functioning.

A smooth transition from Assisted Living to Memory Care is VERY important. "DO it early in the day. Ahead of the resident getting there. Make it as similar to their last room as possible. Give yourselves plenty of time to transition that first week." This was the advice we were given by the staff and IT IS EXCELLENT ADVISE!! This staff is soo caring and loving. For them it's a calling, NOT a paycheck.

We were only there for a few months. Everyone seemed nice, but it is up to the resident to make the choice to go to dining room and to engage in activities since it is independent living. I do wish they were better at communication though. It was like once they received our initial payment, all bets were off and reply to emails were very slow.

It's been a very positive experience. Everything has been great. My only feedback is that I wish they had more drivers for appointments. The interaction with the staff, has been great. Everyone is very nice and accommodating.

What we really like about Farrington Court is they have a friendlier atmosphere with the residents interacting more like a family. The community is clean but the facilities are older and harder to maintain. They have great people everywhere, who are very helpful, but there are a few non-care services that they do not provide. When it comes to the meals and dining, typically the food and variety is good, but they can't get mom to eat, so it's a problem. With the activities, we can't rate them to well even thought they have activities, we can't get mom to go.

According to my mother- in -law, everyone is friendly there are plenty of activities and [name removed] was amazing at getting my loved one situated quickly and efficiently. Coming from my mother-in-law, the food could be a little more flavorful. Also serve dinner until a little later in the evenings.

Their friendly with all their guest and community members, they all seem to love where they work. I would recommend to other families.

My parents are thrilled with everything!! The entire North Star staff is very friendly and go out of their way to address any questions, concerns and/or needs. The food is very good, and there is a good variety of activities. It is especially helpful to have a medical office on site.

The reasons that we chose The Oaks by Senior Lifestyles was because of the location as well as the appearance. The facility was full of life, nice & bright. They were very compassionate, and showed a true desire to interact and assist with my loved one.
