Very friendly staff. Food is exceptional. I would recommend to others.

I can say that I loved Sandia Vista and my mom did as well. (I made as many friends there as she did.) It's a beautiful, bright space with lots of spaces for residents to meet, both inside and outside. Also, it is a safe place. My mom never felt uneasy. I also appreciated the restaurant dining, so that my mom could order what she needed. My mom was there for a year, until she got a brain injury that ended with her requiring more care than Sandia Vista, as an independent living place could provide. I also frequently recommended Sandia Vista when families or possible new residents walked through. It was also a space that I enjoyed being in, which made me feel good that my mom was there and likely had an effect on my visiting frequently during the week.

The value for cost a little higher than expected. However, my sister has very good care and is happy I would say the facility has rules and regulations that are enforced. I understand the need for the strict enforcement where human beings are your responsibility and rely solely on the care that is provided. Each patient is treated and cared for with kindness, dignity, respect and according to their individual needs. In my opinion, the patients look cared for and comfortable.

The change in my Mom since arriving at The Forum at Tucson has been remarkable. She was living on her own and isolating. Resistant to any help from her family. After her latest fall she finally agreed to relocate to Tucson from New Mexico. After visiting several facilities we chose The Forum at Tucson assisted living. Overall our experience has been outstanding. The staff provides superior care that is affordable. I will not hesitate to recommend The Forum at Tucson.

When my sister went from being able to mostly manage for herself to hospice the transition was easy. She was able to stay in the same room.

Desert Harbor was a wonderful place. My mom passed away in [date removed] so we were only there 4 months. ALL the staff was beyond amazing and consistently went above and beyond. My mom was not an easy person but they were always kind and professional in their response. Mom LOVED the food which says a lot if you knew her. We had meals delivered to her because she was unable/unwilling to go downstairs. And actually if not for the due diligence of the person that delivered her meal everyday at 3p she likely would have died on the floor alone. Instead we were all able to be with her during her passing. I am willing to forever be grateful. She didn't participate in activities. So I can't rate. Worth every penny

Love the caregivers! You need more of them. The caregiver to patient ratio should be higher. We're very happy with the facility and we would recommend them to other families based on the experience we had.

I would recommend the Auberge. The staff is friendly and we were able to move in in a short turnaround time. There is a dedicated medical staff. The food is great for what my family member needs. The Auberge is also very affordable.

Took my Dad for a tour. Immediately felt the welcoming and warm vibe of this home for many. The food is great. My Dad couldn't wait to move in. A month later, he's in. His apartment is comfortable. He's made new friends. Has mobility with the shuttle service provided. Lots of fun things to do. He's really enjoying his new home. Thank you so much for helping us find his new home. You guys are the best.

The staff took our needs to heart. Though my loved one needs memory care but didn't want to be there "jailed" she has appreciated that the staff realize her needs are not so strong & she & a few other high-functioning individuals get to enjoy many of the activities made available to the residential side of the facility. Everyone is a family, knows & calls each other by nameb helps each other out. Really great place!

I think the staff and residents lead with kindness, and everyone seems happy or at least content to be there. The environment is relaxed, people and dogs walking around, folks stopping to chat. Lots to do! A nice full schedule every day and outings the residents can sign up for--it's really nice. Welcoming. I hear good things about the meals, and the atmosphere in the dining area. It feels safe. And the staff really help get your family member all set up. It's been a big relief. I'd like to see a better six o'clock movie selection...but they're renovating the movie theater room, so maybe that'll change soon!

Villa de San Antonio is the perfect place for my Aunt meals are served restaurant style in 2 areas My aunt likes the smaller dining room There is a chapel there that my aunt walks to and enjoys services and rosary staff is very nice and helpful occupational and Physical therapy is available onsite My Aunt who is 98 still enjoys her independence

The cleaning person left, they are doing their best. Only affects her room. The food is good and they have a good variety of options. They have a lot of activities for the residents to participate in, but our loved one doesn't partake in them. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to others.

The care my mom received was positively horrible. We moved her after 3 months. It was an absolute nightmare.

We have had a very positive experience so far. All areas of the facilities are always in excellent condition. Very clean and well kept. The level of friendliness and care that the staff has shown has been amazing! Our first experience touring , we saw a lot of interaction between staff and residents, and it was always positive. Smiles, joking, staff knew names of everyone we encountered. Very happy vibe. Dad has had great care, and so far hasn't had any complaints (which is a pretty big deal). The meals are delicious and the variety is wonderful. The only issue we run into is the younger youth that serve are sometimes slow to serve and fairly inattentive. We always get our meals, and they are always good though. The facility offers so many options for all kinds of activities, both in house and in the community. Our dad still won't participate, but that is his personal choice, not anything to do with the facility. Cost is always a hard one to rate. We would probably say 4 on this simply because it is a lot of money each month, and finding that we have to pay above and beyond that for diapers, etc medication, food brought to his room, and any other incidentals, was a bit surprising. However, we do recognize that they are on the lower end for our area, and he is getting excellent round the clock care. I hope this helps! We truly have had an amazing experience with North Star, and we are so grateful that we were able to get him in there. He is happy too. Making friends that he sits with at meals, enjoying a peaceful, clean room, and he loves the food. Thank you for your help in our journey.

Everyone is friendly and professional. Sometimes food could be different/ better but can't please everyone. Residents and staff know you by first name or recognize you as a resident. Great activities.

It was good. Quiet setting, very secure. My condo area was well maintained and the landscape was well maintained. Other residents were very friendly, the staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful . They had 24 hour care service even though I was independent. They always called me to check in on me. They also had the emergency push button lanyards. The dining room menus was good (depending what you liked), the separate menu was also good. They had a variety of activities which appeared to be very entertaining, however I was not interested due to my still grieving for the loss of my wife. I moved for two reasons, it was fifteen miles one way to the National cemetery and the $3800 monthly rent was a little high. I qualified for retirement living quarters on post at Ft. Sam Houston and my rent is extremely reasonable. Also I'm less than ten minutes to the cemetery.

I would highly recommend it.

I'd give them a 6 for Activities if I could. Exercise class every morning. Usually chair exercises, but a different type each day of the week. Scenic drives, trip to store, movie night twice a week each. Musical groups come in once a week. Bingo. Crafts. The residents themselves run a weekly Bible Study class and two different chorus groups. The facility has buffet lunches a day or two before Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, and Thanksgiving. Residents eat free of course, and then it is [fee removed] per family member who comes--the family members make reservations ahead. They are really nice, and it is like the residents are hosting their family members for a change. The families support the Halloween carnival and Easter Egg Hunt really well, so they are lots of fun to go to. Also they hold a fundraiser for a local charity each summer, with hot dogs and carnival activities and an antique car show that is really well supported. It really feels like a community there.
