This is a great place. The staff are very friendly and look out for the residents and their families. It makes you feel like family and gives you a sense of belonging when you are here. My loved one doesn't care for the food, and when they like it there isn't enough of a portion size for it.

The staff members are wonderful and when we first came to see Summer Vista we were immediately sold. All of the care workers have been amazing - a few of them have gone out of their way to create a bond with our loved one, they have really taken to her. The meals and dining service is pretty good even when they have to close the dining room down for covid. A few times a day they work on physical therapy and other forms of therapy with our loved one.

The Glen community comes together for many different things of showing care and keeping us all involved BUT when a dear loved one passing there are not enough write or right words to explain their caring and help to the whole family of that loved one who is gone.

As soon as we walked in the front door we were warmly greeted for our tour. My grandmother was looking at options of assisted living. We visited several and felt like the Colonnade at Carrollwood would have been the perfect fit for her needs. The staff was friendly, went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and follow-up. The residents seemed very happy and very clean, the apt size was perfect activities win keep you busy. At the last moment a family member invited my grandmother to live with them otherwise this would have been home for her.

I am very happy I will be moving here soon, this community is great for independent living and much cheaper then my previous community. My apartment will have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full sized kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, a self cleaning oven, a washer and dryer in the unit and a nice balcony to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Also when the weather is nice they have a really pretty outdoor space to sit outside and relax. There are activities going on all the time and the meals looked to be presented very well.
