The New Year’s party that the activities department ran was incredible. A very large crowd gathered and celebrated the new year with drinks, snacks, party favors and singing. We had a very good time.

This past holiday with my family turned out to be one of the best ones I’ve had…with the help of Palos Heights Senior Living. We had an activity for the residents where a picture of our hands was taken. You then gave us a framed picture which included a beautiful quote that described the “hands”. I got emotional when it was read to me. I liked it so much that I asked [removed name] if I could purchase three more copies of the picture, as I wanted to give one to each of my children as a Christmas gift. Without hesitation, I was given three more, framed and ready to go. I was able to give them to my children on Christmas, and the response to this gift was powerful- everyone was filled with emotion. They were touched, and it made me smile with happiness. Tracy came to me and gave me a hug…She knew that I was emotional and couldn’t speak. I have been so grateful to have found “Palos Senior Living” as a place to spend my time.

We toured multiple facilities looking for a place for my mom. Shawnee hills was so very thorough and caring in regard to making sure we were well informed and that we could find the right accommodation for her. [name removed] was a delight to work with and we are so excited for my mom to join this community.

Considering for in-laws, and my oh my word, how clean and pleasant this resort-like retirement community appears to be! The tour was informative and our cheerful guide, Michelle, has us convinced that this is just the perfect place for in-laws. What a beautiful addition to the neighborhood, being so convenient to get to and nestled in amongst multi-million dollar homes. This location is perfect for an individual who likes the in-town feeling, close to some of the best shopping in Chicago, and yet part of a strong neighborhood community. The formal rooms at the entrance are impressive and fireplace is a cozy touch. Pleasant aromas throughout are almost spa-like. We will be making a decision soon but this is our front-runner all day long!

I had the opportunity to visit Burr Ridge Senior Living with my mom. The community is very well maintained and is tastefully decorated. The residents seemed happy and friendly. The concierge, Elizabeth could not have been more welcoming. My mom loved it too!

The Burr Ridge Senior Living facility is really wonderful and the tour guide [name removed] is very friendly and knowledgeable. She provided us with useful information about the move in process and made us feel optimistic and confident about this important decision.

I am a MOM of an adult who has Alzheimer's. It is one thing to have a parent in a care community; it is quite another to have an adult child living in one. The care team at Peakview Assisted Living/Memory Care has become my son's family! The compassion, care and love shown to my son is quite apparent and it is why I am able to visit then leave, knowing he is being taken care of beyond safety. I enthusiastically recommend Peakview as A PLACE for Your Loved One!

My family toured Shawnee Hills Senior Living facility on [date removed]. We were looking for a home that offered independent living for my mother. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall condition of the facilities -very clean, well kept and welcoming. The individual living space we were shown was in perfect, “ready to move in” condition. Staff member [name removed] was our tour guide and we found her to be very informative, cheerful and informative. She discussed daily resident routine, showed us the various common areas including the very nice dining and recreation areas within the facility and even introduced us to several current Shawnee Hills residents, who were friendly and welcoming. Although we are still in the decision making process for our Mother, we are strongly considering Shawnee Hills as a perfect location for her. Very impressed!

Peakview has been a life saver for my friend s care.The community is welcoming and friendly.The care stuff treat the residents with compassion ,kindness, professional and friendliness. Our friend is very Happy here.

I visited the community. it’s a clean facility They have friendly stuff and residents were very nice I had lunch ,food was great with a loy of options in the menu. I highly recommend it for everyone who is looking for something great where stuff really cares abou the residents.

Very nice community first impression when walk in feels so nice, everyone living there is so friendly and the place is so full of life. Most importantly, Excellent care givers, very competent, great problem solvers and genuinely nice people. Peak view is a beautiful community with excellent food and good companionship. Most of the staff here is amazing the staff is caring and nurturing. They communicate well, are responsive and follow through on their commitments. They have created a wonderful environment. The facility is well taken care of, and the rooms are well maintained and kept as clean as reasonably possible of the residents. Over all. I highly recommend Peak view.

My partner has been at Peakview Assisted Living for the past six and a half years. I visited a number of assisted living facilities before making my decision place him at Peakview and I have never doubted my decision! The staff, from management to nursing staff to caregivers to maintenance to kitchen workers really do care about the residents. They are responsive to requests and changes to care requirements. Questions are addressed quickly with emphasis on clear and reasonable answers. The facility is clean and feels welcoming. The dining room has large windows that face the mountains and provide a beautiful, relaxing view. The activities that are available range from daily movies, board games, exercise classes, weekly outings, BBQs in the summer, special meals for holidays and on and on. Bottom line: Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care is a great facility with outstanding care and support.

I toured Peakview and found it very nice. The views are amazing! The apartments are a good size and the community is very neat and clean. The elevator is close to the entrance so rooms on the second floor are easily assessable.

Every time we visit with staff and administrators at Shawnee Hills, we come away knowing we made the right choice when we helped my elderly mother take up residence there. As her physical and mental health ebb and flow, we know that Shawnee Hills is on top of things. They offer patient and compassionate care for her and regularly sit with us guiding us through the uncertainty of caring for and about a loved family member. Our thanks go out to Shawnee Hills every day particularly to the executive director and the director of nursing.

I recently popped in on a loved one and was very impressed with this home. They were very happy with the cleanliness and attentiveness of staff. I think this would be a wonderful place for someone to live.

As a healthcare worker, I like to visit communities so I can share honest thoughts with families seeking care for their loved ones. I was impressed with the way staff interacted with residents, who seemed well-cared for and at "home".

The friendliness and cooperative nature of the staff at Shawnee Hills is exceptional. The pleasantness is always shown from first meeting onwards. That makes the one feel the fullness and nature of life at this facility. ( I also like [name removed] last name! )
