The quality of care is fantastic and they always get to my mom when they can. Because of covid they are short staffed, so sometimes it is not as fast as we hope, but I know if they were staffed properly it would be amazing. They have plenty of activities provided and the residents seem to love them. The medications are pretty pricey, she only takes 1 pill and it costs around [amount removed]. Overall the value for the money is great, it is worth it for the peace of mind that we get having her here. Everything about this place is fantastic and we would highly recommend them to other families without a question.

Our family had an in person tour and Shawnee Hills is a beautiful community, they just did not have any openings at the time.

My mother lived at Crestview for over 9 years. It was a very positive experience. She was happy and felt cared for. As her daughter I felt she was very safe, which took away worries. The staff was friendly always laughing with my mom. The facility was extremely clean and decorated beautifully. The activities were appropriate for seniors and varied addressing the different interests. There would be activities to choose from each day. Birthdays were recognized and everyone was made to feel special. Holidays were always fun. Veterans were recognized. There would be special treats during the week. There were many parties, like Super Bowl, New Years even the Kentucky Derby to name a few. Overall I would highly recommend Crestview. Even after my moms passing I have returned to visit missing the friends we had made.

My mother has been a Memory Care resident for 2 years, moving in soon after this facility opened. The staff has been extremely caring and helpful, especially through the pandemic that began soon after she moved in. My mom brightens up when she sees a team member in the hallway or lobby. The facility is beautiful. She really enjoys interacting with other residents and team members. During one of my recent visits, I observed a team activity with music and coloring books that was very peaceful and relaxing. Although the last 2 years with the pandemic has been very challenging for everyone, I am very happy with the care my mom receives.. If I do have a concern, I feel comfortable addressing it with the staff. I feel very grateful and confident that my mom is being taken care of at Westerville Senior Living. Although it is not the same as being at home, it is the next best place to call home.

Compared to other places, there's a big variety of food here. That seems to be an issue at a lot of other places, but not here. It's a beautiful facility. I would live here myself! Everyone, all of the caretakers and staff that I have met, are super warm and friendly. I visited other places where the staff looked shifty-eyed and angry, and there was no way I would leave my parents at a place like that. It has been so refreshing finding a place like Palos Verdes.

Our family had an in person tour and we were very impressed. The lady who gave the tour was very understanding of our situation, very helpful and informative. The community is well run and all the facilities are very attractive. The community was just to far away from where we lived

Our tour at Hilliard Assisted Living was very good. It was during Covid times, but they were very accommodating. All in all, the places we looked at were pretty much equal - it came down to location more than anything else.

We are delighted to have found Cedar Lake for mom seven months ago. Mom had a very poor experience with her previous AL community and we were forced to uproot her at age 92. The staff at Cedar Lake went above and beyond to make her feel welcome. We are so impressed with the kindness and dedication of the people who work there, without exception. It's such a warm, caring, cheerful place. The aides are thoughtful and so helpful, very conscientious. The nursing staff is phenomenal, really on top of things. Such a relief to have a nurse present 24 hours daily. The director of activities is an absolute treasure! Such a wonderful rapport with everyone. The dining staff is exemplary providing both delicious and nutritious meals. And we can't say enough about the concierges who have been invaluable in helping us help mom. Mom's needs have just progressed to memory care and it is such a relief to see her able to stay and thrive at Cedar Lake. The peace of mind is priceless.

Bright and open residences. Easy access to amenities for the residents. Friendly staff, nice social activities.

I thought Lake Travis was super nice, although they were a little more expensive than other places we looked at. What they would have had in our budget was a studio rather than a 1-bedroom, but the deciding factor really came down to layout. One of my family members has memory and spatial challenges. With the apartment we would have gotten, the layout was just too linear, and we felt he might get lost. But it was a beautiful facility. The staff was super nice. I would cheerfully live there myself! It just wasn’t a fit for my loved ones' particular needs, but it was a really nice facility.

As the daughter of [name removed]and [name removed], residents of the Green Oaks Senior Living Facility, I want to report my enormous gratitude for Sheri Woodruff as she creates and leads balance and movement to music classes that keep my parents active and strong. I so appreciate Sheri and her wonderful team! [name removed]

We were given a very comprehensive tour of the facility. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the facility and with senior living experiences in general. We came into this experience with very little knowledge and no experience but all of questions were answered and we are confident now that we can make an informed decision about the future for our mother.

My husband and I have enjoyed being residents at Green Oaks for 4.5 years. As we look back on December 2021, we can say that despite the pandemic, the days were filled with great entertainers and a lot of fun activities. We had a wonderful holiday party with a White Elephant gift exchange, appetizers and drinks, and everyone participating in the "12 Days of Christmas"! It was a great way for new residents to meet the old. We had carolers from the local high school that were terrific and the month ended with our New Year's Eve party that included dancing to the band and, of course, more appetizers and drinks. I often wonder if other senior communities have an activities staff like ours. It isn’t only in December; the fun continues all year round. The are keeping us young at heart and helping us forget our aches and pains! I can’t imagine another senior community has what we have. How good is that?!

The care my father gets in memory care is awesome, he is loving it. Calls it a senior hotel.

This community is very well priced for everything that is offered, and our loved one is really enjoying his stay. He especially is enjoying being able to cook in his apartment with his kitchenette. We would recommend to others.

It is never an easy decision to move a parent into an apartment after the loss of your other parent. The staff (and specifically [name removed]) made the decision easy for our family. My mom's apartment is beautiful and provides all the comforts of home she needs in this new stage of life. The staff is always friendly and helpful when we have questions or concerns. She moved in almost a year ago so we've only know LM under covid protocols and we feel they have handled things fairly well. My mom enjoys all of the activities and has really immersed herself into the community. We couldn't be happier with having my mom live at Lincoln Meadows where we know she is comfortable, safe and enjoying life in a new way since my dad's passing.

What a fantastic experience! We were honestly not expecting this, and even our mom’s barriers came down. The staff, especially [name removed], were extremely helpful and friendly. The building and apartments are beautiful and spacious. There’s not much surrounding the facility, but I feel that their activity calendar more than makes up for it.
