Spectrum Retirement

Rigden Farm is an independent living lifestyle but I feel that they really look out for the residents. They make sure to have eyes on each and every resident every 24 hours. That makes me feel much more confident that my mother is being looked after even though she is independent. They do offer external extra help for residents and I will be taking advantage of them in the next couple of months since I notice a slow down in my mother over the last few months. The staff here take the time to know each residents name and use them. I find that very nice. It makes the residents feel more at home. We love the restaurant style dining room. Plus the 2 hour window for dining is so much nicer than a set time. My mother is feeling more and more at home here. Which we are grateful for.

My mom lived in an Independent Living Apartment for 1 1/2 years before needed to move to Assisted Living. She loves living here, the employees are very friendly and caring, the residents are warm and welcoming. She’s gone on outing with other residents, enjoys making crafts and loves the live entertainment. She’s always telling me that she did a new activity or had a meal with someone new. She loves her home.

It was nice to have the same group of aides come so we could get to know them and we would recommend Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is expensive but the residents are happy and active. The activities are somewhat redundant but there have been some great outings. I would definitely recommend Palmilla, Mom really likes it there. I do not have to worry about her as much.

What we like the most about The Enclave is that the staff and residents are friendly and helpful! Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

From beginning to end the 9 months spent in this facility were all good. The meds were correctly administered, the nurses on duty were always available to answer questions or handle concerns. The aides were invariably patient and kind. The decor of the facility is light filled and attractive. Not the usual dark, old people looking place.

Friendliness of the staff is a 10, totally friendly, have to give them aces on that question! Dads a meat and potato guy, salmon and other items are not his thing, but he can always order a burger if the dinner menu for the day isn't appeasing to him. There's plenty of activities for him to do, but they are mostly all in the early am and he does not participate. Compared to other local places that feel like a funeral home price seems to be on hand. All the residents are friendly, not depressed or just sitting idle with a frown. Staff always calls him by his name. His cat is welcome which was a must have. Grounds are taken care of and when a maintenance issue needs attending they are on top of it. Although this wasn't the closest home from my home, I believe it's great and worth the 20 minute drive.

We really like the friendly staff at The Enclave and we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

There has been core employees who are excellent and constant but like all care facilities there is turn over. There has been an almost complete turn over of the activities staff. Overall, the variety and number of activities is still higher than other facilities.

Very nice and large setting. In and out. Staff are friendly and accommodating. My brother is in a studio apartment that is quite large with 2 good sized closets. A menu you can choose from or select to have the daily special. Several activities. Nice to have transportation to the grocery stores if you need to go. Housekeeping and laundry is a nice plus.

Very good experience w excellent staff and support personnel that are friendly, polite, and quick to address any concerns. Billing is clear, consistent and on-time. Wonderful apartment layouts with privacy. Excellent nursing care. Responsive CNA support. Meals and menu is well planned and served hot and with excellent service personnel. Activities are fun, well planned and actively attended by residents. Residents are friendly and welcoming. Residents have privacy and social balance as they want. Nice library with computer access. Rooms are comfortable with excellent temperature control. Excellent showers size w helpful grab bar placement. Nice closet design. Rooms are Very walkable/Walker/wheelchair access with excellent layouts for senior living. Very satisfied w Cedar Lake Assisted Living.

Great food, activities were good, very accepting and open people. Warm and friendly. Based on the experience we have had with Rigden Farm we would definitely recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Office staff is fab. Cooks seem 2b hard to find/ keep. Housekeeping should be better trained. Overall tho, it is probably better than most of this type of retirement living. I am making new friends, enjoying all the amenities, a fine place to spend an easy retirement, relaxing.

Mom passed away shortly after moving in. Sadly her Leukemia took over and she had a stroke. I can say the facility was really nice and they were good to her. The staff were very nice, facilities were clean, and they were helpful while getting things taken out after her passing

My uncle loves it there he has meet new people and even made friends there. I am glad that he is there. He gets great care and the price is in his price range. The staff there are nice and very friendly. The meals all homemade and you can get other stuff if you don’t like what they have on the menu for that day.

We have found the staff to be very helpful and willing to consider new ideas. We are happy with the choice that we made at Lakeway Travis Independent Living. They have been working very hard to make things better with the food, and have had some success. The service in the dining room is much better. The menu could use more variety and consistency in the preparation of food. It depends on the cook as to whether the meal is good. Once again, we have more monthly town hall meetings and they are aware of the problem. They have changed food distributors, and the supervisor usually comes by each table to see if the food was good and if everyone was satisfied. So it is being addressed.

The staff cares for residents like their family, checking in on them if they miss meals and helping them adjust to their new homes. The facility is updated with tile floors and blue/gray tones that feel clean and soothing. If I were of an age, I'd stay there.

Our experience has been wonderful from day one! We have been really pleased from the beginning. And that still holds true. I think the ladies who clean the little apartments could do a bit better job, but I am very picky about that! They are still one of the least expensive as well!

What we like the most about Palos Heights Senior Living is the accessibility of dining, shopping, medical, etc. We would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

The 4 for activities is not because of what they offer. The activities are great but my Mom doesn't really participate and I wish they would try harder to get her to participate. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend the Three Oaks Assisted Living community to other families.
