They really need some work on communication. Pretty consistently, we got one story from one person, and another person told us something different. And then another person told us something completely different form that. So it was very difficult to get an understanding of what was going on and what their policies were. When I came to them with concerns, they acknowledged them but then didn't do anything about them. One of the main reasons we went there was the size of the units and the fact that they have washers and dryers in the unit. The place is very nice. But we were supposed to get a handbook, which we never got. Wwe were unaware of their visiting restrictions (8 am- 8pm), which were not communicated to us before we moved in. They did not communicate their very strict Covid restrictions, which made the transition for my loved one very difficult. I was disappointed that they had no plan to make the Covid vaccine available to residents and employees. And all around, their communication was very poor.

I toured this community and it was really pretty. Very nice and new. I didn't quite get the 'at home' feeling here. I also didn't see a single resident out and about while touring, which I thought was kind of strange. Ultimately, I felt like it was too big for my loved one and would be easy for her to feel lost here.

I think The Enclave at Cedar Park is overpriced. I didn't like that every month you had to guess how much you would be charged. Any time a change in care was made, we were charged additional. It was a good place overall. But I found a better fit for my loved ones elsewhere.

I toured this community and it was good. It was clean, friendly staff, lots of newer amenities. Just wasn't what we were looking for.

I toured Lombard Place Assisted Living & Memory Care, and I liked it. I don't remember anything specifically that made me not choose this community. It just wasn't a good fit.

We picked this community because, it was nicer,cleaner, and friendlier.

I did a virtual tour. It was nice but didn't have meals included in the price.

I toured The Enclave at Cedar Park, it was too far away and I just didn't care for it.

This is a beautiful facility. The common areas are always super clean. The executive director and accounting director both do a great job and do everything that they can. The food isn't great, not good quality, not cooked properly, and not a good variety. I'm there every night and I see it. No one is happy with it. A few weeks ago, they were understaffed and made the dining buffet style, which made it hard for residents with walkers etc. It was a mess. They say breakfast is ok, but the rest is awful. Turnover is very high in meals/dining and they can't seem to get it together. I bring my mom outside food a lot of the time Turnover seems pretty high in all departments. Housekeeping visits are about 10 minutes bi-weekly, but they don't always clean well. A lot of times, mom turns them away. Either way, I clean for her frequently. Communication with the family is not as good as it used to be. They're using a new system and I'm not very familiar with it yet. Twice now, the staff has entered her apartment without notice. Once while sleeping and once when she wasn't there but came back to find them inside. Both times freaked her out, especially the second time. The activities are weird to me. We were told there would be outings, but it's mostly small games and some are juvenile. The new activity director is good and really trying, but there are still no outings. I think the residents need more to do, especially outings to get them away once in awhile. When I first moved her in, the facility was way different and met our expectations way more than it does now. Especially for the price. Compared to what I've looked at, I would still recommend them I guess. But it definitely needs improvements.

Overall, this facility is very nice. Most of the staff was great. Some go the extra mile, some don't, but that's with anywhere. Mom didn't eat the meals, so I'm not sure how the food was. I always brought food and helped her eat. She ended up needing more care and we considered moving her to the memory care unit. But we ended up calling in hospice care and a nursing aide for more care. One of the reasons we chose this facility was that it was so close to home and they allowed pets, which was important to mom. They do have a stackable washer/dryer in the apartments, which was very convenient. The assisted living manager (name removed) absolutely went above and beyond always. Even when she was on vacation, she text me to check in and was just absolutely exceptional. I couldn't have asked for more. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

Palos Heights Senior Living is a great place as we learned on tour. However didn't have all the benefits needed for my loved one so had ended up in a more specialized care unit.

We were greeted with a warm reception from the moment we stepped into Palmilla Senior Living. Everyone was out of their rooms and socializing. Staff was very pleasant and seemed to really care for the residents. Lovely experience and great facility.

My mom really liked Las Soleras because it was a brand new facility and had a bright, open and airy atmosphere. It feels like a very nice hotel and is nicely decorated. The facility is in a great location with not too much around. The apartment sizes are very good - she is happy with hers and the layout. The drawers where you can put kitchen utensils is very narrow which would be my only complaint. Everything else has been good. My mom walks around the complex every day for exercise and I feel that she is safe because the front desk has cameras all around the facility so they are able to keep an eye on her. I would definitely recommend Las Soleras to others.

They've been short staffed because they're having trouble hiring people. Although there is a lack of staffing, the people that work there are good. I would suggest for others check out HighPointe Assisted Living and Memory care, but you need to be aware of their short staffing.

Life began slowly, first we had to get a bigger group, then activities grew and soon we were finding our path. Apartment is a good fit. Meals are needing work. Making friends has been great, and most situations have been resolved.

Very satisfactory to my needs at this time and age.

Felt was a decent tour, had some nice looking facilities.

The apartment was really cute. The nurses and staff were all super friendly. They had tons of activities that my mom enjoyed such as bingo and different card games. She also really liked the food as well and had no complaints. I would recommend The Enclave at Round Rock to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and for this location it was brand new and resembled a really nice resort. But again it was very overpriced and the staff at [community name removed] was more friendly and accommodating

They are very friendly; they do make an effort to know the residents and understand their needs. They ask for feedback and if you tell them you'd like to see something different, they'll do their best to try and make it happen. So, all around it's been impressive in that manner. I've also talked with other residents who do use the assisted side and they are very pleased with the care that they receive.
