Traditions of Hilliard is a wonderful place! The staff are very good and the food is tasty.

As of now all seems to be working for her. Quality of care and facilities are maintained She always tells me about the activities that she participated in, which are many each week. That director is very engaged in what she provides. Negative issue was the moving in. Upon first meeting with the staff i informed them that she would need the memory care. They showed me the best rooms that were available, bed room, kitchen, separate space for couch and chairs for around[Amount removed]. Upon the nurse assessment she was indeed deemed needing memory care. I was told it just meant a different wing. What really happened was, no kitchen, 1 smaller room for bed and dresser and [Amount Removed] more.

It's was exactly the level care my mom needed. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

The facility was very bright and clean and gave me a very good first impression. The Tour/sales Director was especially nice and the kind of person I would love to have as a friend. The exercise room was very nice and I found a couple floor plans that would work well for me. I liked that each apartment had washers and dryers.

I understand that there are things that you find in every facility but the tour was wonderful and probably the first month, then a smell started in the halls. Aides are another issue that they seem less helpful. Dining is slow. The Nurses are wonderfully helpful and pleasant and the majority of management are very friendly. Plenty of activities.

Rooms are well put together and all come within microwave washer dryer and full size refrigerator.

The community itself seems the most inviting, the most vibrant, and the friendliest. I got the best overall vibe from the Enclave.

Very nice place, but my concern was no garages for your car. Liked having a large Walmart close by.

My father was a resident at Creve Coeur for only ten days. Our original plan had been for him to return there after a three-week hospital stay. We had been led to believe that the facility could manage residents receiving hospice care. However, about two weeks before his passing, a nurse from [name removed] evaluated him at the hospital and determined they could not readmit him due to his inability to feed himself and concerns about aspiration. We understood the liability concerns surrounding aspiration. What surprised us was being told that even if aspiration had not been an issue, he would not have been allowed to return simply because he could no longer feed himself. In hindsight, perhaps we did not ask enough detailed questions up front. We know that many individuals with late-stage dementia lose the ability to feed themselves, and we assumed this level of care would be provided in a memory care setting. Unfortunately, because of the facility's 30-day notice requirement, my sister was responsible for paying nearly two months of fees even though he had only been there for ten days. Perhaps this is standard practice among memory care facilities, but it felt unfair given that his inability to return was not within our control. While we understand paying for the room until his belongings were removed, paying approximately $[removed] for services he did not receive felt deeply troubling. That said, we were very pleased with much of the staff. On his first day, they were able to get him to eat foods he had refused at home and even participate in activities, which was encouraging. My sister and nephew, who had been his primary caregivers, intentionally stayed away during the first week to allow him to adjust. When they visited, they were surprised to find him in pajamas and using a wheelchair in the dining room, as he had been fully dressed and using a walker when he moved in. Staff members were unable to explain the change, which was concerning. However, two days later he was dressed and resting in his recliner, which reassured them somewhat. The facility itself is beautiful, and many staff members were kind and compassionate. When we cleared out his room, several employees stopped by to offer condolences and hugs, which we truly appreciated. The Executive Director shared that she had advocated for his return but was overruled by corporate leadership. She mentioned that they do not have CNAs to provide the level of assistance he required. We were told the facility offers five levels of care. It is difficult for us to understand what the highest level includes if it does not cover feeding assistance for residents with advanced dementia. While we are grateful for the kindness shown by many staff members, we wish we had clearer information from the beginning about the limits of care and the financial policies, as this experience added significant stress during an already painful time.

It's nice overall but there have been some issues with the restaurant. Nothing crazy but there has been a lot of turnover with the staff and issues with the food quality.

I recently toured Green Oaks looking for a 1 bedroom independent living unit for my Mom. I was able to see several different units with different sizes and views. They were all very nice, clean and well maintained. There is a lot of natural light in the common areas, everything is clean and well maintained.

What we like the most about Mason Assisted Living and Memory Care is that it is a newer facility and the dining room food was good. In general, the overall staff was helpful and attentive. Yes, we would recommend this community to others.

Lovely facility. Did not have apartment for us.

The staff are not always responsive, however the nursing and care staff are great. Proximity, available pt, exercise room, activities and the staff will sit down at socialize with residents (there is a fireplace with chairs that mom likes to out herself - and often we come to visit and one of the staff members will be sitting by her just talking)

There were some really excellent caregivers there that got really close to my parents and I knew they were taking good care of them.

Overall the staff has been very kind and helpful. The dining experience is occasionally challenging. There is a long wait for food. Family and friends were impressed with the cleanliness. One of the washers where mom is assigned to do her laundry has been broken since she moved in. Mom is adjusting well and is satisfied with the overall experience.

The facility has been going through some management changes. The new director seems to be responsive and communicative. The nursing supervisor has also been replaced and I do not have an honest opinion of her yet. The activities director in memory care really tries to engage the residents and keep them busy. There is a decent menu of food options as well as daily specials. The facility seems clean, however you can smell urine on the memory care unit. I did not notice this when my mother-in-law was in assisted living which was only for about 2 months. The residents on memory care have the option for staff to do their laundry and clean their room. The nurse practitioner who covers the facility is very responsive and knowledgeable.

Very attractive facility. Yet the daily cleaning pace and depth needs to be increased. There is a definite ebb and flow feeling with the facility and the staff that might feel a little too slow paced for certain new patients and or their families The main activities seem to revolve around TV shows and movies being on all day long in the main salon area with occasional intermittent breaks for trivia or other very simple games at which it does not appear. Majority of the individuals are participating. There also appears to be an arts and crafts room that I don't know how frequently it is used for engaging activities

Loved the plant nursery overlooking the pool. This was the fifth assisted living facility we toured in the week and Palos verdes is worth a second look. It provides for two person lifts and has a hoyer lift. Got to sit in on one of their entertainment shows for residents

[name removed] is priceless to this community. Always with a Smile on her face and enthusiastic to welcome anyone and everyone to join in activities. [name removed] goes above and beyond to help those with memory loss to make sure they do not miss activities. I feel blessed that my mother is included in activities with the help of sweet [name removed]
