We traveled from out of state to see this property along with two others. This was the first one and we liked it. We were told that a particular top floor was available and were provided a price. We were sold. When we got home we called to secure the apartment only to learn that the tenants had extended their lease (in other words, it was never fully available). [name removed] was our sales rep working this and he said that there were other units available (same plan and same floor) for the same price. Just to be clear -we texted [name removed] the details that we agreed to and he confirmed. Went to apply for a lease online and the price was more than what he had quoted us and agreed to. We escalated to the regional manager as [name removed] apparently does not have the authority to honor what we had agreed to. Still waiting for a call back from [name removed] and the regional manager. We shortened our exiting lease so that we could move earlier. Took time off from work to move. And now this? Bait and switch

I moved to Amberlin Georgetown in October. Since moving to this new apartment community, I have experienced a variety of issues. The construction materials are cheap and the finish-out work is sloppy. During move in, I discovered holes in a wall, nails protruding from walls, cracks in both the front and balcony door frames, a missing kitchen backsplash tile and a loud rattling noise in the HVAC unit. Work orders for the backsplash tile and HVAC unit were submitted in late October. On-site management has not been responsive and I eventually contacted the regional manager for action. The HVAC unit was not repaired until [date removed] and I have heard nothing about backsplash tile. Due to the cheap construction, I can hear every step my upstairs neighbor and her huge dog take. Based on my experience, I would definitely not recommend Amberlin Georgetown to potential residents.

I lived at the Luxe for 6 months, when I was found near Dead on the Kitchen Floor, by a neighbor came knocking on my door on Sunday morning, we was to have breakfast. She knocked and knocked which I could not answer, then she Called over and over with no answer. worried something was wrong. she waited until after 9am for management to come to work. to Report what was wrong. The Law and Paramedics was called, Management had to cut into the wall, to reach in and unlock my door. I was found on the kitchen floor, not responsive, I was taken to first Baylor Scott & White in Rowlett, then to Methodist Hospital for a emergency Liver Transplant on [date removed]. I had a seizure lasting over 5 minutes, and later I coded. The doctors told my Daughter I could never be alone again. She and her husband had to move all of my belongings out of the Luxe. She asked the Liver Transplant Team if they could Call the Luxe and inform the Manager. She hung up on them. since then I was turned over to collections
