It's cean, friendly and active. However, the significant rent increase after the first year's lease drove me and several other previous residents away. I picked this community, because of the staff, safety, new, cleanliness, location, and special move-in incentives. Storage limitations and parking are significant drawbacks for Luxe at Cedar Hill. Also, all resident parking spaces should include assigned covered parking spaces.

It's been fantastic. Overall, the people are nice. You feel like you're living in a hotel. It's a new apartment, and it fits the needs that I have. Overall, I would recommend to others.

1. Good 2. Exceptional 3. Good 4. This is independent living so there is no care to rate. 5. There is no food. These are independent apartments. The one complaint I do have is that there is not enough parking for guests. I go see my mom 3 times a week and there is no parking. 6. They have plenty of great activities. 7. It is definitely on the expensive side but the protection in place is great. Sadly you can't get deliveries because it is a fortress. Just know that there is limited guest parking and none of the delivery drivers can find the place. Good luck order a pizza because they can not get it. The security rocks though, no one can get in without a fob.

Our experience with The Lakes at Grand Prairie was wonderful. [Name removed] was so helpful and patient. My loved one loves it here. The staff is great to work with. They don't serve meals here though.

I would certainly tell a friend. The community is in A very safe area, super clean neighborhood , good central location to necessity like pharmacy, groceries, restaurants and gas stations. The community itself is the same. Super Clean, modern updated units. Nice people and staff beautiful common areas like the pool, club house area and other activities like the library and movie room. As far as improvements from a seniors perspective: some form of free shuttle transportation to close by stores for necessary things like food and pharmacy needs. The other improvement I notice is the payment portal to pay rent and other fees. Portal on community computer charges a high transaction fee ($50) to pay rent. Don't think most residents use that portal.

It has been a pretty good experience. My loved one is in an exterior apartment, and the walk outside can be challenging because of her age and also because the yard doesn't have a sidewalk. But that's really our only complaint. The community itself is great. The amenities are great. And the staff is very good.

This community was okay and it was a nice place but it was not the same amenities as another community that I found but it was around the same price. They also did not have a lot of activities and I wanted to make sure that my loved one had a lot to do.

It looks very nice. Building and grounds are well kept. Very nice community room, exercise room, pool. Maintenance is very responsive to requests. Apartments are spacious. Full size washer/dryer and modern appliances (although the ceramic top stove is VERY slow to heat up). BUT . . . No grab bars or medicine chest in the bathroom. Don't rent an apartment facing the interior unless you don't mind noise from the pickleball and bocci ball courts and loud blaring music from the water aerobics class. Don't pay for covered parking unless you don't mind other people parking in your space who haven't paid for it. (Garage, on the other hand, is worth paying for.) Base rent is reasonable but there are a lot of hidden charges. You pay for Cox Cable with no choice to opt out if you don't want it. You pay for water and sewer. You pay for valet trash removal (which is actually a nice feature). You pay for exterminator service, although I have never seen an exterminator come around.

Parking is terrible. There are better parking options in Manhattan....They need to understand and better accommodate their intended clientele. I work in healthcare in people's homes and this is the worst "senior living" setup I've seen. They're nice units but I would never guess it was intended for senior citizens, based mostly on the lack of accommodations.

It's ok. I picked this community because of the location, price, activities. Personnel, and the look of the area.

My parents moved from there because there was too much crime. People's cars were getting broken into all the time. They also felt like the building wasn't made great. They could hear all the above Neighbors footsteps. They also said that they let people live there who weren't of age, and one of them had a drug lab in the apartment that got busted.

New pool rules are grandchildren under the age of 18 are prohibited from using the pool Monday thru Friday from 8am to 11am and from 1pm to 10pm and all day Saturday. They are permitted to use the pool on Sunday from 8am until 5pm. No other 55 plus apartments in the area have grandchildren restrictions for use of the pool.

I would promote the community as being a progressive place to live. Sure, would recommend this place, as already done so. Would like to inform you that my rating does not match previous submission, due to having to be burdened by additional minor maintenance under the new management.

The apartment I had was spotless when I left. They withheld most of my deposit for routine cleaning. Do not send any seniors there!

The Community 'vibe' feels more like a dormitory with a RA that reminds, enforces, and "discipline" residents and not a place that has nice amenities that are available for use/participation if you choose to. I don't know if it's because it's such a small Community that it feels this way, but this has not been our experience in the past.

Sage Highland Creek has friendly residents and various activities for everyone. The facility overall is dirty due to the lack of cleaning staff. We only have one person who is responsible for 4 floors, 184 apts.,lounge area and public restrooms. The baseboards in the halls are filthy and cobwebs are hanging from the wall. The walls around the elevators are damaged and need to be repaired. Sage lacks security. Anyone can get into the building 24/7 as the doors are unlocked. The facility is wide open for anyone to enter the pickleball court, swimming pool, and lounge area. Some gates are locked sometimes between 9:00 pm and 9:00 am, however, they are not secure enough to keep from vandalism .

1. My apartment has never had a fire extinguisher. 2. The walkways here need to be sandblasted or at least power washed. They are filthy. 4. I care for myself. 6. There should be handicap doors to office and all gated areas. It is too expensive for single elderly person.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a beautiful community but the tour itself was not well organized and we ended up having to go back for a second tour because of the miscommunication

No food provided like a salad bar or a canteen. No transportation so activities are limited to in house only. Rare to arrange something like going to a food market. Very good maintenance. If anything needs to be fixed, it is taken care of within 1 to 2 days.
