We selected Waterford at Thousand Oaks due to its location, affordability, and included services (meals, activities, shuttle, etc.,) The overall experience was outstanding from the initial tour, evaluation/selection, move in, onboarding with other guests, to the move out. The staff was very friendly, caring,. and accommodating. The property maintenance was very good, and on par with other facilities in the city. The meals and related services were outstanding offering fresh and healthy food choices. What was most significant (and a direct reflection of the local leadership) was the warmth and kindness shared by neighboring residences. Everyone welcomed our parents with open arms and genuinely cared for their well-being. Invitations to join in activities were offered to our parents right away. The planned activities and events are well organized and included a very good variety from week to week. My brother and I highly recommend Waterford at Thousand Oaks. Through firsthand observations, we knew our parents were part of a great community.

The staff, the food - everything is top notch. I would not put my husband anywhere else. I have only good things to say about the Addison.

Love this place. Sorry we had to move my mother-in-law, but she need an assisted living facility. Highly recommend The Waterford of Fairfield and the great staff. The residents are extremely friendly and welcoming. When it comes time for me to move, it will be to The Waterford .

We moved my in-laws in about 2 1/2 months ago and we have been very pleased. My in-laws both seem to really love it. All of the staff are very kind friendly and helpful when I have been there. I would definitely recommend Whitley Place to anyone looking.

Top Notch! From our first phone call to inquire….to the head nurse doing assessment, everything is top notch. These gals are so kind & professional. We feel as though we have know them forever. If you are looking for the perfect AL, look no further! Kudos to this team of professionals!

I really like it here. The staff is nice and the food is good. My room is a great size for me. I enjoy my time playing game and watching movies with fresh popped popcorn. We also have happy hour were listening to live music.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I like that they serve meals all day and laundry rooms very accessible. Very nice facility. [name removed] is very nice, easy to work with. I was retired and needed a place to live, I would choose Waterford. I recommend it to a friend.

I recently toured your community looking for a new home for my elderly mother of 83. We were so pleasantly surprised to see such a beautiful place! Everything was so clean & looked so perfect everywhere we set our eyes. The bright open areas were so soothing & welcoming. The landscaping outside was delightful. Our tour guide was the director of sales & she was so bright & knowledgable about everything we asked of her. She seemed to bring the community to life for us. She made us feel as though we were already a part of the Wellington family. We were offered lunch & the food was as if we were in a 5 star restaurant. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

The facility is really nice and the apartments are tapped. My grandmother says she loves the food there and that she's actually starting to gain some weight which she needed to do because she enjoys eating their food.

My friend who is there has had issues (dementia and falls) and they have been very caring and responsive.

It's a clean facility with lots of activities. My mom loves it there. Definitely recommend. I was apprehensive about my mom going into Independent living but she absolutely loves it. She's so busy that I can barely get her on the phone. Such a relief that she's safe and happy.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. They seem to like working there. Facility is very new and clean. Smaller than others we toured. Unfortunately our family member had to move to memory care after 3 weeks in assisted living due to wandering outside and other issues.

It 's like a big family everyone is caring and kind. We have all become friends and respect each other.

The staff and the chef have been very attentive and caring, and they have included her in activities as much as she is able. Our one disappointment is that they don't have an actual nurse on staff overnight. We were led to believe initially that a nurse would be present for 24 hours. This affects the amount of reimbursement from her long term care insurance.

The admins and staff have a weekly meeting with the residential committee to hear any suggestions for activities, menu changes. The residents take their involvement seriously as this is their home and they are protective of it. The activities director, [name removed], creates special themed events monthly. The residents have lunch out monthly. The Waterford has three garden spots where residents are encouraged to sit, socialize, have cook outs. As with any assisted communities, the residents need to participate.

Having lived my entire life in a "Single Family House" moving to Waterford was heartbreaking----until I accepted this "large house" as my home--and "the residents" as my family to get to know on a first name basis! I truly enjoy living here and plan to stay --Also my daughter loves her mother living here!
