If you want to continue to cook this is not for you. Be ready to downsize. The apartment is sufficient if you plan on it. I love it here but it's not for everyone. The recent 10% price increase caused many residents to leave. It can be expensive but it is all inclusive which works for me

The small community is very clean and everyone is so nice. My dad looks so much better and is happier to be there. He is eating better, sleeping better, and always clean. They even have him walking longer distances than he has in several years.

It is an amazing place, but the food is awful. Also, I would make sure that the pricing is clear.

As far as Memory Care goes, I've been a little disappointed. I don't really see any activities going on. I really haven't seen a lot of meals that I would consider appetizing. I'm sure my loved one has no complaints.

The food is good. Should be more flexible with supper times. The activities are great. Just need more of them. The facility is nice. The apartment is perfect. The staff is mostly great. Takes a good person to work there. It has been a primarily good experience.

The staff was very accommodating. The residents that we met (several that my in-laws knew or knew of) all liked it there.

[name removed] is helpful with getting doctor appointment rides. That's been really helpful. [name removed] the care giver is very good too.

The caregivers are awesome, but there is a big turnover in employees. I picked the community because of the location, service and because the previous community was so awful.

We liked the location and it was clean and small enough for mom to get around. She had macular degeneration and remembering where to go was difficult at 93. We had looked at quite a few places and narrowed it down to two and she gave the final decision.

The staff is very friendly and willing to help out when you ask. The front desk staff is amazing. Housekeeping is friendly and thorough. The contract signing and move-in went very smoothly. The food, in general, is good. Some ups some downs, but trending to be better. We would recommend living here.

My experience with the community has been fairly well but I've had to give the nursing staff a little more involved than they were in the beginning. I chose this place because it seem to be a fair price but shortly after moving my sister there they added on a level of care at $650 a month more. The bookkeeping department has had incorrect invoices for the past three months that I've had to go in and straighten out with the accountant. The meals there are just average and nothing more. I do wish they had more activities to keep my sister a little busier.

The other residents and staff are not as social as we had hope. They also need to offer more options for the meals as well as the activities provided to the residents. I would recommend this facility.

Staff is extremely personable and attentive. Some staff are obviously better than others but the overall experience has been very pleasant. Mom is in a studio. It's perfect t for her. She has her chair and two pieces of furniture plus a refrigerator and microwave. It's got plenty of storage space. Two closets and "kitchenette cabinets. We are very happy with it.

My loved one is in as independent living, so we aren't using the housekeeping and nursing services on a regular basis. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful answering questions. They went out of their way for her to borrow furniture until hers had arrived. The building is homey and cozy feeling. Her apartment was one of the biggest for the price. It is close to shopping and medical facilities. I would recommend this facility.

The move in process needs some work. We are still waiting for her TV to be fixed so she can watch more than a couple channels. Also, maybe an ambassador to help show the ropes and check in would be great. Staff is always friendly and helpful and answers all questions. Food is nutritional and balanced. I think, as far as communication, maybe a check in to let us know how they see her doing would be good. And as far as recommending the place as a whole, I feel mostly comfortable saying based on staff interactions I would say yes I would recommend American House.

Communication sucks but the staff, when available, is great. The quality of the meals are great. Better communication would help. Based on our experience, I would not recommend the facility to others.

My husband and I recently visited my Aunt who is living at the Waterford. We were able to rent the guest room, and bring our sweet dog. We love that it is a pet friendly place, and the convenience of everything that is offered for my Aunt and other guests. The staff is very friendly, helpful, kind and courteous. One area of improvement would be mealtime. Although we didn't have to pay much to have dinner with my Aunt, the food did not all come out at once, and my husband had to look around awkwardly while my Aunt and I ate our dinner before it got any colder. (And I had to ask where his was.) I'm not sure why the dinners (all meals) aren't brought out all at the same time, but it certainly is an area that needs improvement. I feel it should be considered just as if they were 'going out for a meal' and treated as such. We were able to use the Rotundra and pull off a small surprise party for my Aunt, and invited family. Also, please consider a fenced in area for the dogs.

The facilities are clean, safe and well maintained. The staff is warm and very caring. The residents are generally welcoming and moderately active. There are opportunities for arts and crafts, game playing (bingo, Uno, etc.), and group movie watching. Because of the different level of care options, residents are able to receive the assistance they need / want while maintaining their independence. Frankly, the food fell into the category of "needs improvement" for the better part of the past 18 months. That said, there has been a significant, sustained improvement over the past 60 days.

I've so far been very pleased with Willow Grove. Of course, early on there was an adjustment period, but overall they have been very receptive and responsive to my concerns and desires. Their communication as to my Dad's situation has been very helpful to me.
