It is a smaller facility which is more intimate and homey. Very well maintained. The staff is very responsive to inquiries and requests. There are on-premises health care professionals. The monthly rate is very reasonable compared to other facilities. Our family is glad we moved our mother to Summit Place.

The Ashton is a welcoming place with a concierge who is helpful and knowledgeable. [name removed] with the business office is always ready to solve any problems that you might have. The nursing staff is amazing, especially Nurse [name removed], and aide [name removed]. They are ready to assist with any problems at all times .Wellness Director, [name removed], is always responsive to concerns that patients and families may have. [name removed], Director of Activities, provides a schedule of the activities of the coming month. Pretty nails with [name removed] and Bible Study with [name removed]are most enjoyable! The Staff of the dining room is attentive and aims to please. The overall experience is positive at The Ashton for those in need of personal care.

Very friendly community, lots to do if one is willing/able. Food quality is lacking, many residents are complaining.

The daytime receptionist does a great job, always friendly, very helpful informative on upcoming events. [name removed] does a great job. I love her enthusiasm. It would be nice if most of the staff was like that.

The regular staff was helpful, caring and cheerful so they get a 4-5 but the administrative staff gets a 3. We didn't get much involved. But I did enjoy the Wii games. Fun rivalry.)

Nice place very friendly staff, may not be for people who need extra care, not sure maybe they've added that since we left. They have a good variety of apartment sizes and amenities offered depending on occupancy.

They had lots of transition staff during our time here. They could improve some things by asking the residents for their feedback and guidance.

Mom enjoyed her two years there and as a family we were pleased with the care she received. It turned out to be a very good choice for her. We picked this community because it was smaller unassuming facility for mom that appeared to be a good value.

I felt Rosemont was better than some of the others we looked at but not quite as nice as one which I felt had several amenities that my parents didn't need. They have very nice people and some that just have a job you can tell don't really want to be there. The facility is getting a bit old.

They really need to have working cameras in the facility. They need improve on the taste of the food and offer better options to the residents.

Overall we are happy. The common areas very clean. The staff that is there (shortage!!) We gave the care services a 4 only because I think they have some growing as a company to do. The meals are a 3 at best, the dining situation has been the biggest let down. We address this regularly, very degrading how meals have been delivered. Not appealing, not even edible at times. Continued improvement is needed. The value for cost is a 4 because of the meal issues and the additional cost to my parents

I originally picked them for the value and the things offered. Slowly the things offered were no longer available. Then Sonida purchased the facility and my mom's monthly care went from $[removed]per month to $[removed]per month with no change in her health condition. It was criminal how they raised the rate and caused such a financial burden and stress for the elderly there.

Quality of food is the main issue - likely similar at many facilities. Staff is great and the care is great. These are the 2 most important! Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to other families.

Medical positive cleanness and help with showers negative meals and dining room positive, activities fair, bookkeeping average, entertainment, church related activities very good.

My sister has done well at the facility. -I think overall-good experience. -Always seems clean. -I think she feels staff is friendly. -She does not need any care from staff-except housekeeping. -She is not always keen on their meals but thankfully she has the ability to cook for her self. -She really does not take part in activities. -As her family we feel the cost is worth the peace of mind we have-compared to her previous living situation.

The staff is very personable and genuinely seems to care about the residents and their families. The size of the facility is perfect for Mom because it allows her to walk around but not get lost. More fresh fruit and vegetables in the menu would be good. If they could add supervised activities on the weekend, that would also be an improvement.

Good facilities, Great people. Only downer is lack of internet/cable not included mom says food is "OK"

Food was mediocre at best, often badly organized Care was minimal, we were on our own Activities were minimal Room repairs were done quickly Admin staff was pretty MIA after we arrived

The Plains is a great facility with terrific staff and excellent care of your loved ones.
