Very informative tour. Liked everything we were shown. Feel it would be a good fit if and when Mom needs to be in an Assisted Living facility.

So Monday I toured the Wellington, first off the remodeling that the ED has done is Phenomenal. I tore this community for years ago for my mom and we were stuck her somewhere else now I’m touring for my father.. So today I put down my deposit for him to live there it’s outstanding the activities they have for the men and women there and they’re really pumped about all their new church services that areGoing on Bible studies on Wednesday. It’s so warm in walking into this building it’s like going home . The staff had a smile on their face and everybody was extra polite. The marketing director knew my dad had a dog and had him a doggy gift bag with dog food and treats and bowls in all kinds of sweet things for my dad’s dog.

I am responding to the TERRIBLE CARE review from July. It has put a burr under my saddle to say the least!!! My mother has been living in Memory Care at Cedar Bluff for over 2 1/2 years. She was one of the first residents in the Memory Care section, and I am at CB almost every day to visit her. I can tell you that I totally disagree with their review. The caregivers have been nothing but loving and caring to my Mother and the other residents there. The residents are in all stages of dementia and I have personally witnessed the exchanges between the staff and the residents and all I see is nothing but respect and kindness directed to all the residents. Believe me, my Mother's well-being is my first priority and I would have moved her if I ever saw anything that would make me uncomfortable or that was being done to her or ANY other resident living there.

Cedar Bluff is literally an answer to prayer. My dad has Parkinson's, and after a stay in the hospital last October, he was receiving home health care. He hated every minute of it. He felt like a prisoner in his own home. We decided to explore other options, so we toured several assisted living communities. By the end of our first visit to Cedar Bluff, we both knew it was the place for him. He didn't love the idea of assisted living, but we were so impressed with Cedar Bluff's beautiful community, pretty apartments, warm and caring staff, and great amenities. We took the leap of faith and moved my dad in. We are so thankful we did! He's been there for six months now, and he told me he's surprised how quickly Cedar Bluff felt like home. He is thriving in every way thanks to the exercise classes, games, Bible studies, outings, and loving, compassionate care. He also loves the independence of having his privacy when he wants it in his own beautiful apartment. I know how important it is to find just the right home for your loved one. It can be daunting, but do not hesitate to visit this wonderful community. It will give you hope!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING MY FATHER HASN"T BEEN THIS HAPPY IN ALONG TIME HE ENJOYS PLAY MEXICAN DOMINO AND HANG OUT TALKING TO THE GUYS, ITS BEEN HARD SINCE MOM PASSED AND THEY HAVE GOTTEN HIM OUT OF HIS SHELL!!!!! HATS OFF TO THE ED AND THE NURSE YALL SURE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY DAD.... THANKS

The staff was amazing took the time to meet and answer all my questions, my neighbors mother lives there and she is always doing activities and the food was wonderful. The managers all meet with me and gave me a list of there numbers incase we had a question about anything, the fact that they are newly updating the community was also nice. I would say this is a wonderful place my father will be moving at the 1st of the month.

Friendly community with nice open areas. The apartments were large with a kitchenette. Large windows let in a lot of light. Located in a quiet area. It would be easy for dad to get around since he still drives.

The center was exceptionally appealing as I drove up. As I entered the facility, it was sparkling. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was even approached by two residents who were a joy.

Excellent facility. They had a one-bedroom available with a balcony that my dad will really enjoy. [Name removed] answered all questions and was so helpful with assisting us. Delightful dining area

Very nice, great food, friendly people, but one room divided into two. Won't work for us.

My brother and I were very impressed with the tour and everything was clean, organized, and friendly. Apt was very nice and just big enough. The price was a little out of our range but we will make do. In other words you pay for what you get which I believe is the best compared to the other places we saw. Thanks so much for all your help and support.

Excellence is the first thing that comes to mind from management throughout the entire staff at Cedar Bluffs. They really care about their residents and provide great food and approach a hospital equivalent level of care. The facilities are beautiful and it's a real family environment. They do a good job of encouraging residents to participate in their enriching activities. The staff loves and really cares about their charges who simply adore their care givers. After looking at the numbers, I found Cedar Bluffs was a great value a true gem.

2 year old community, beautiful. Well thought out layout, very nice common areas. Every staff member greeted us, introduced themselves and explained their job. Residents greeted us, looked happy with their surroundings. Apartments very attractive. Pricing all inclusive. Only additional charges for Beauty Salon and some outside activities. Definitely considering this choice.

[name removed] has been awesome to work with!! I will be moving mom to North Pointe in May. I believe I made the right decision.It's a beautiful place! I can't wait for mom to get there to see it and experience the kindness shown by everyone there!

We toured this facility and felt it had all that was needed for our parents, even though they are not ready. We will be ready when the time is right. We love the fact meals are included and the community is clean. Residents and staff seemed happy and friendly

This was a great place. The dining room was very large and bright with all the windows. The snack counter is a great idea. There were many gathering places for large groups. The library was beautiful. There were puzzle tables on every floor. The main floor had 2 different coffee stations and seating for people to gather. The residents were very happy and staff talked with many of the residents as we walked around.

My mother recently moved here after a stroke left her unable to live alone. Both the administration and the nursing staff are wonderful! Everyone is very friendly and go above and beyond expectations. My mother is more social than she has ever been and attends many of their activities. Thank you Greenbriar Village for bringing joy back to my mothers life. I cant thank you enough!

My husband of 59 years has advanced Alzheimers and it had reached the point I could no longer safely care for him. However, finding the right place was not easy. He has never liked crowds, and many homes are crowded. I wanted him to have some personal care and the respect this fine man deserved. When I found Elm Croft, it felt right, very clean, not over crowded, people not only cared for, but cared about and much to my surprise, his own room and he could have his own furniture. I was so worried the day to took him, but the minute he saw his favorite chair waiting for him he went to it sat down and smiled. He was A-OK. Yes, when I go to see him, he hardly knows me, but it I see contentment in his eyes, he is clean and well cared for, his room is clean and neat. I had the privilege of eating a meal there and it was delicious, nicely served and food that is easy for the elderly to eat. Yes, it is costing me, but he has taken great care of me for many years, now it my turn to give that care and honor back to him.

I am not here to do an overall rating at this time nor am I here to discuss cost. I'm here to post my experience with [Name removed] . [Name removed] is passionate in her work. Before bringing my dad to Waterford on Cooper she came to my parents home to do an assessment and to speak with my dad about his transition. This visit was all about my dad. She was thorough in understanding his needs and his cognitive state. We were appreciative for her visit. Now that my dad is there she is still as warm and caring from the first day we met her. Her services exceeds expectations. Thank you [Name removed] !
