The staff and facility of this community is outstanding. From the first phone call to now multiple visits, I knew this place was different from what I had experienced or been exposed to in the past. Visitors and residents are treated as special. There is a feeling of calmness and love is the environment. You truly feel like you have come home. I chose Tranquility at Fredericktowne because after visiting many other facilities, the staff here were very hands on and more involved with the memory care residents. My wife had a private room, they did offer shared rooms as well if you wanted that. I would give the quality of care higher than a 5 if I was able to. I would absolutely recommend to others who are looking.

I do work at this community and can honestly say that I recommend it for your loved ones. The residents are all wonderful people and it’s been a pleasure building relationships with them. The team here has huge hearts and they treat the residents like they would their own family members.

My husband and I met with [name removed] yesterday to discuss the possibility of my mother becoming a resident at Cedar Lake. After a candid and thorough conversation with [name removed], it was determined that my mother would probably not be a good fit for the community due to her advanced stage of dementia and her mobility limitations. I cannot thank [name removed] enough for his candor and empathetic approach. I cannot imagine anything worse than being sold and deceived into placing my mom into a community that would not be appropriate for her. He was so very helpful to us and giving of his time. He’s a real asset to Cedar Lake. You’re lucky to have him! And by the way, from what we saw of the community, it’s lovely.

The tour The Wellington gave us was great, we really liked the facility. The only reason we did not choose them was the location, at my parents age I did not want them to have to learn a whole new area.
