The Woodlands is very close to where we live and I really feel like this is where he is supposed to be, it has all worked out very well. The Woodlands staff and hospice worked hard to get him out of his previous facility. I cannot say enough about how hard the staff worked to get him here, they really went above and beyond. My loved one is in memory care, his neighborhood has a maximum of 12 residents and there are always a nurse and aid there. They are very attentive and if you ask for something it is always done in a timely manner. My loved one requires a lot of care and they are really on the ball. In the short time that he has been here, they have built such a good relationship with him. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are looking.

All of the staff and residents are helpful, friendly and welcoming to everyone. I appreciate all of the various amenities that the community offers its residents such as the bistro, theatre, hair salon, therapy department, med cart service, social activities, transportation, exercise classes, etc. The facility is close to stores, restaurants, churches, etc. making it an ideal location. The Waterford has been an enjoyable place for me to live after selling my home.

I love my apartment, the open floor plan that I have; it's just like the home I came from. I have a large patio door and balcony to enjoy that lets in lots of natural light.

They were the first ones that we looked at and we were sold immediately by the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of staff and residents, mother just loved it. The facility is pretty new and very well maintained. The caring-ness of the staff and the cleanliness of the residents is something that really sticks out to us. Everyone of the residents here are very well dressed and the staff makes sure everyone has their stuff together. Even the people on the memory care side that comes over from time to time to do happy hours look great which shows just how attentive the staff are. Their philosophy is we are here to work for you and we really like that approach. They have monthly meetings with the residents where they get together with the chef and activities director and go over their likes and dislikes and the staff truly listen and take that feedback and apply it. They have a lot of activities provided, my mother loves to play bingo, they have therapy dogs that come in once a week, they even had Shetland ponies in the courtyard and the residents could feed them carrots and pet them. Every Thursday at 4 they do happy hours and they bring in entertainment, they offer one glass of wine or beer if they want it. They also celebrate residents birthdays, have holidays parties, etc. and are just very creative with what they do. Their covid policy is great, they do test the residents and if someone comes back positive, they have to quarantine for 10 days but they have one specific caregiver for those 10 days so there is no cross-contamination. They do not shut down the facility so I am still able to go in and visit my mother as long as she is not the one who has it. Visitors do have to wear masks, but the residents do not. Since she has moved in there has not been one positive covid case so clearly what they are doing is working well. We have been so impressed with Benton House of Oviedo and would highly recommend them to others looking, they have been a God send to our family.

overall my stay here has been good. staff is stressed due to being overworked. but staff does well caring for everyone.

We chose Benton House because the facility is new, clean and in good shape. It was also only about 50% full and my mom needed a place that was going to be more quiet with not as much going on. The room sizes are decent, she has a private room. I would tell others that they do not take Medicaid funding. They do have some really good activities, I wish they had more exercise classes or walking groups. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

Mom lived at Vintage Gardens Assisted Living facility for about 2 years. Her experience was very positive and found a caring staff who were willing to "go the extra mile" for the residents. After a couple of rehabilitation stints at local care centers, mom mentioned several times that she would sure be glad to get home. The amenities--food, laundry service, activities, maintenance, transportation--are first class and dependable. The medical staff was available to meet her needs and were willing to make calls to her primary care physician when needed. VG staff members were always ready with a friendly greeting at the front door. Also, the residents made mom feel like part of a family right from the beginning.

We are delighted with the staff and we have began to know them. Anytime we say anything things go well and we have not had any issues. The food is a little less than I had hoped for, I'm sure that it is filling but it is not what I expected it to be like for my loved one. They have activities like bingo, ball tossing, work outs, field trips and more for the residents to do to have a good time in the community. They also have entertainment that comes in and more for the residents.

From the moment our family began the process to move our parents to Willow Grove, we have experienced nothing but positivity and sincere care! The staff is helpful and kind, the administration is resourceful and quick to respond, the rooms are clean and spacious, the food is wonderful….I truly can’t say enough about this place! I highly recommend Willow Grove if you are searching for assisted living for your loved ones!

Our parents have lived at this facility for just a short period of time however we are very pleased with the staff, the facility, the food and the care that they are receiving! We would recommend this facility to anyone needing a safe place for their family.

This is a very nice community. The staff care about the residents like they are family and they keep us very informed with everything that is going on in the community. They have activities like bingo, bingo bucks, outings to restaurants around the community, physical activities like beach ball volley ball and more. They have an activities calendar with a lot of things for the residents to do.

This has been a totally positive experience for us. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. One reason we choose the community is we had a friend who lived here and they enjoyed it. The staff are friendly, helpful, and they know our names and learned them quickly. All the residents are very friendly and they are warm and welcoming to us. The meals and dining is good. The portions can be a bit small for my significate other. The soups are very good, and the meals are well prepared and well served. The dining staff are very friendly and pleasant. Housekeeping every two weeks, laundry of sheets and towels, 31 meals a month per person, and room are included in the monthly rate. There is a continental breakfast that isn't included. You then have a choice of lunch or dinner. They provide a menu for you to choose from. The is a regular brunch on Saturday offered. There is a washer and dryer and a full kitchen in the apartment.

The apartments are spacious and pleasant. The staff and residents are very friendly and helpful. They have taken outstanding care of us during the virus. Many activities are provided . I especially like the fact that if needed we can go directly from independent to assisted living without leaving our apartments.

LaurelHurst and LaurelWoods is a great facility. The staff were all friendly, well trained, and engaged with the residents. The apartments in independent living were huge and the facility overall just seemed well cared for. The value for the money was great as well for the area.

We saw several other facilities during our search and none were even close to as nice as Rosemont was. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, you could tell it was a quality place. It is also a smaller facility so the care is more individualized. The staff always call me if anything happens and have been great with communication. I do like they have a Facebook page to show pictures of what they are doing. I feel comfortable having her here and know they are taking good care of her and doing the best that they can. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Our loved one was only there for [date removed] and we have nothing but great things to say. Everyone from the director, med techs, to the receptionist, kitchen staff and maintenance team - they were all incredible. We never had anything to worry about even when our loved one ended up on hospice. They not only continued to care for her but for us as well. When we would come to visit they could feed us, and the food was pretty good.

This was a great community and would have worked out well for my loved one it was just out of the price range that we set.

This community was too far away for where I wanted my loved one to be and was not the right environment that I was looking for. This community was also above the price of what we were looking for.
