I am pleased to offer my strong recommendation for The Residence of Chardon as an exceptional assisted living community. During my experience with this residence, I have been consistently impressed by the high standard of care, professionalism of the staff, and the warm, welcoming environment they create for their residents. My mother has lived her for 1 1/2 years. The staff demonstrates genuine compassion and respect for each individual, ensuring that residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. Their attention to both medical and emotional needs is evident in the personalized care plans and the meaningful relationships they build with residents and families alike. I have been living here for almost 3 years and it was a great move for me. My room is lovely and the staff is professional and very nice. There are many activities and I have a great community of friends.

Wonderful place. They treat you royally! I have been very happy being here. They wait on you hand and foot! I have never regretted. Moving here. I have Congested Heart Failure. I had two attacks at home when I was alone and it scared me. My kids were worried about me being home alone. Now they have peace of mind.

Everyone has been very kind and helpful. The apartment is the biggest and most home like one out of the places I visited.

The gal who runs it is amazing. She worked with our situation and made it very easy. From some price drops to offering to include furniture for a small monthly charge. All the employees seem very happy to work there and it shows in the work they do. The building is well kept and has a good feel to it.

[name removed] did a great job giving us a nice tour of the facility! She showed us the Independent Living, Assisted living and Memory Care units, dining areas, etc. Very thorough! Thank you!

We found the establishment to be extremely clean, organized and the staff was warm and friendly. We also liked that the staff had time invested, showing us that Woodholme Gardens is a good place to be.

The Waterford at Westover Hills seems to be a quality facility. The layouts of their rooms are more spacious and apartment like than others we have seen. They also have lots of activities for the residents and in-house church services. The facility seemed very well maintained and clean.

Staff and property were outstanding!! New marketing director was on her way out a d she took the time to give an excellent tour.

Facility is gorgeous and has nice outside areas. And very clean. All staff seem happy and helpful. Lots of activities and events.

Waterford at Decatur is in a nice area of east Decatur, GA. Not a lot of traffic and easy to get to. Small but still spacious, it’s a smaller community that is ideal for people who need this sort of care. Very clean and rooms were a decent size. The director was very friendly and informative.

The tour was excellent, all questions were answered at that time we looking forward to our follow up tour this coming Wednesdays.

My mom absolutely loves it there. She has a beautiful 1 bedroom with a den with balcony. She's so busy with activities I can barely get her on the phone. Family is so pleased she is somewhere safe and she is happy.

Wonderful place. Caring people. When we are ready, we will consider this facility. Rooms are small but look sufficient. Many amenities are included. Lots of opportunities for socialization. They really took their time explaining and answering our questions

When we need to move a loved one into a memory care facility, sometimes we don't what to expect. When I moved my mom into The Wellington, I was one who wasn't what to expect. What I discovered is that the staff truly cares for the residents and tries to get to know them so they know how to provide for them in the best way possible. We are not perfect people, neither should we expect perfection out of others, but we can try to meet people's needs. This is exactly what The Wellington does. They did their best to meet my mom's needs and for that, our family is truly grateful.

[Name removed] is the best. It seems like she’s always working. She is not just care giver to a family member, she has become family. [Name Removed] keeps us continually updated . We live out of town and that gives us comfort. We love her

I have been so happy since I moved in last year. Everyone here is so nice and caring. Residents will help each other out and everyone is your friend. This is the best move I have ever made except for my marriage. Everything is great here and so much is taken care of for me that I get to just enjoy my time with my friends.

Caring and attentive staff. Lots of activities to keep the residents busy. She was really reluctant to go to an assisted living facility and this has been an amazing experience for her and the facility is not nearly as expensive as the other facilities in the area. I want to add that the facility is very clean and it almost feels like my mom is living in a hotel. There are so many things for her to do as far as activities are concerned and almost all of her providers come in to the facility. I have not had to take her out of the facility for any of her appointments not even to get her hair done! My mom actually has complained that there are too many activities and that she's tired sometimes from interacting all day haha. She has complained that there are too many foods thick in sauces and gravy. They can improve by having a diabetic diet or diabetic menu to choose off of for those who really need to watch their carbohydrate and sugar intake

The only negative was that they do not have a nurse on staff 24 hours a day. We were given the impression that they did have 24 hour nursing care. This did not affect the care that my sister received, but it did affect reimbursement from her long-term care insurance.
