It’s a beautiful, clean facility. The staff is very helpful and friendly and It’s close to my home. The meals look and smell wonderful. My aunts little apartment is exactly what she needs to feel a sense of independence. I’m so very grateful to “ a Place for Mom” for recommending the Waterford. I didn’t even realize that it was essentially in my back yard.

We have been very satisfied with everything at The Residence of Chardon. The facility is well maintained. The rooms are big and bright. The staff is caring and friendly. The activities are varied and interesting. We really like the library too. We are very happy with everything.

Tell those you love about this location if you are considering placement I highly recommend allowing your family to be a part of their family they will very much feel at home Food here is great- no worries about variety or repetition! My mom eats same breakfast every day for years and here she is given the same option ! I don’t have to worry but for those who like a variety they have that too! It’s just like being at home!

We worked in the industry so our expectations were high when moving our parents here. I have to say Autumn Glen has exceeded our expectations in all areas. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond. The food is always good and mom and dad never complain. They are able to come and go as they please and we are grateful for the peace of mind we have knowing they are safe and happy.

My family had never had any exposure or experience with assisted living facilities. We had, however, had temporary experience with nursing homes. We felt our mother did not belong in a nursing home, but she also couldn’t remain in her home. My sister-in law ( who has several elderly clients,) and one of my mother’s doctors recommended Autumn Glen. By the Grace of God, they had a space available and we were able to move my mother in. We never knew such a place existed! From the moment my mother arrived she’s been treated with respect, kindness, and compassion . My mother will happily tell anyone that she absolutely loves it there. For us, we are thrilled to see her thriving as she hasn’t done in years. We love the fact that they just don’t leave her in her room and forget about her. The staff work hard to help her with everything from mobility to just ensuring she has a wonderful quality of life. The staff also work hard daily to create a warm, caring atmosphere!

We were very skeptical about the doctor telling us it was time for Mom because of her Dementia. Once I even saw what the Residence of Chardon looked like on the website it felt like HOME! Meeting with [name removed] the Director the inside felt the same. The warm atmosphere and the sense of Community with all the Residents that all came to Moms room the day we moved her in and invited her to be a part of them was so heartwarming. After almost two years now Mom no longer asks to leave for awhile, she just wants to stay Home. [name removed] the event organizers is like having a Family Friend there keeping Mom busy with events to look forward to daily and the Kitchen staff is as warm and supportive as the aids and Nurses that watch over Mom while we can’t. We are so grateful and thankful for them ALL!!! Now they have painted and added new things that have made it even better. I HIGHLY recommend The Residence of Chardon for a place to call HOME.

I was given a complete tour of the facility last Friday. My host and the residents were very welcoming. I have visited other places and did not feel the kind of welcoming that I have received here. At other places people looked at me with something akin to suspicion, it made me feel rather uncomfortable. This place feels genuinely friendly, they seemed like they were looking forward to meeting a new friend. I am very excited about this because I have been very isolated for the last 5 years. My beautiful and wonderful grand daughter has worked very hard to restore me to the outgoing person I used to be. I am so looking forward to being involved in activities with others. The activities here seem to be plentiful, the only problem is picking out which ones to do first. The place is so beautiful and well decorated with an open airy quality about it. This also is the only place where I don't just have a room, I have an apartment with a full kitchen, living area, bedroom and bath.

I would and have recommended Autumn Glen. The staff is so caring. You are always greeted with a smile from everyone. Nurses, aides, kitchen, cleaning, therapists, everyone makes it a fantastic place to live and visit.

Residence of Chardon was my first choice in picking an AL. I had a previous experience with a loved one so I knew it would meet my Aunts needs. Very clean, kind staff and being smaller it keeps the interactions of staff and residents more personal. Each resident has their own apt with the ability to be involved in numerous activities or stay in their own private room. My Aunt enjoys the activities and even likes the food!!

Our families experience with The Waterford at Fairfield was stellar!! We have no complaints at all!! I would highly recommend The Waterford at Fairfield community to anyone if it fits their needs!!

My mother has enjoyed living at Autumn Glen for the last 4+ years. She loves to play bingo and walk/visit! The staff is so friendly, kind and respectful. It comforts me to know that my mother is safe and well cared for by the best staff in town. It is a wonderful, family atmosphere.

My mom lives at Autumn Glen. The place is beautiful and very clean. The staff is excellent!! Very caring people that work there. They take excellent care of my mom!! And I would highly suggest Autumn Glen!!

My mother was 8 days shy of her 102nd birthday when she died. She spent the last six years of her life at Autumn Glen. I live in Florida and was always worried about mom’s safety when she was at home. When I finally convinced her to move to assisted living it was such a relief to me to know that she was being cared for 24-7. The bonus was that she was happy once the move was made. She said she should have moved earlier. She made many friends because AG offered so many activities to keep residents involved. Any time I visited I was always welcomed with a smile and greeting from employees and Mom was always smiling. I can’t thank Autumn Glen enough for the care they gave my Mom and the peace of mind they gave me.

My mother currently lives at Autumn Glen and I love the staff. Very friendly, trustworthy and I feel that mom is in great hands! Everything is always so clean and inviting. They truly care for every resident and go above and beyond.

I’m so happy that my parents live in Autumn Glen! The staff here takes such good care of them and treats them like family. Autumn Glen is clean, friendly, and provides lots of fun activities for the residents. I live several hours from my parents but I don’t worry about them because I know how wonderful the staff is to them. I would recommend this “home” to anyone looking for assisted living!

My mother has been in this facility for the last three years. The staff go above and beyond to see to her care. The residents also share in caring for each other. I can rest at night and feel comfortable knowing that my mother is in good hands and know that she’s happy. This means the world to me and my family.

My Mother lived there for a few years. The staff went above and beyond taking care of all her needs. Everyone treated her like family. It’s the best place she could’ve been. As her daughter, I was in and out of the facility many times. I also was treated like family.

Amazing and caring staff! My family member loves living here. Food is great. Activities are fun. I couldn’t of picked a better facility for my family member. My family member is able to see a doctor and physical therapist on site. They are licensed facility. I looked at a new assisted living facility in town prior to deciding but they aren’t licensed and don’t have 24/7 nursing care. It was a no brainer to choose Autumn glen after learning that.

We picked this community, because there was no upfront fee and can get increased care as needed without moving to a different unit Very positive experience - I would recommend.

The staff of the Waterford are very caring and helpful. They have so many activities and we always have something fun to do. We go on outings to restaurants, places like Kingwood and to the store. We have tailgate parties before all the OSU games. I love the apartments. They are much larger and nicer than the others that we looked at. We have many options of food to choose from. I love it here.
