My mom has a neurodegenerative disease and wasn't getting proper care at home, Charter's staff have worked extensively with me and my mom in making the leap, quickly, and helping her adjust. The facility is homey- set up like a house with a sun-room, interior courtyard, nice rooms, nice showering area, etc. The staff are always trying to build relationship with her and keep her active and safe. I am thankful for Charter's business model that has some flexibility, the CNA's, RN's, Adm. staff, Activity director, and the Executive Directors. I hope they continue and that the staff are paid very well and are properly staffed to care for the needs so that they do not injure themselves when lifting and moving the loved ones. Food needs improvement...hopefully in the future!

2 bedroom apts. Nice rooms, spacious, all new appliances. Attentive and friendly aides. In residence doctor, nurse. Planned activities. Special bus trips. Exercise programs. Community council meets once a month hear problems and suggestions. Well prepared menu.

I think this is a good place. I'm glad we moved here.

Staff - pleasant, caring. Food - not good.

Very large and Spauling. Have respit room completely furnished on AL side. However,it smelled old and musty. The dining room on that unit also had a funny smell. The food in the Independent dining was delicious.

The independent and assisted living areas were very nice, the areas with higher skilled nursing were dated. The gal we were touring with said they were planning on updating but did not know when. Knowing my mother may be in the more skilled area, we wanted to keep looking.

Decent facility, nice rooms, amazing vistas, close proximity. High turnover in staff and ownership is a little concerning. Lots of openings.

My mom is settling in quite nicely at Shenandoah Senior Living. It is a very nice and clean community. The food is very good, they offer a variety of meals that my mom enjoys. And the view of the mountains from the dining area is beautiful! The staff is friendly and caring and attentive to her care needs. There are plenty of activities that the staff encourages my mom to participate in, my mom loves winning at Bingo! They do offer transportation for shopping and Dr. appointments within a certain radius. I think we made a good choice for my mom, she is happy and making new friends.

My mother is still taking some time to adjust to her move too this community. However I did feel very pleased with her move here, this is a great community. All the staff is great, they are very respectful towards their residents. They provide plenty of activities for the residents. A place for mom suggested a wonderful community, we are satisfied with all they have done for us, and I would recommend it.

So far everything is working out well for my father, and his move to this community. I do feel he is safe, and receiving good care. The staff is good, and they are taking good care of him, and his needs. Everything has worked out very well, and I would recommend this community.

We feel that we made a great choice with this place. The people are good to my loved one. He likes the place and is getting adjusted. There really is nothing wrong about here.

This is a beautiful community and we liked it. There is a garden in the center that the residents can enjoy. They do lock the outside doors but the residents can go wherever they want inside the community. They were not qualified to care for my loved and the resident care manager that completed the evaluation of her did not get it correct. She is anything but caring and this is how she trains her people. I would not suggest going there as long as this care manager is there.

For the most part, it has been just wonderful. I'm happy that my mother is there. The only thing is that they have these planters with random objects in them. It looks terrible. My mother doesn't like them. It's just horrible. Other than that, everything else has been very good. The communication with the staff has been good. My mother has been here for one month. I can't rate the care services because it's not applicable.

Very clean. When you walk in there are no odors. I would recommend this place for anyone with Dementia. It's a Non-Institutional Place with a lot freedom. They don't keep you in rooms. Residents are out and about. They get involved with family and residents. The food is excellent. My overall rating of this community is 4 stars. The people are very friendly and they have a lot of different activities.

During my limited experience Canton Regency (my wife was only there two weeks) was very pleasant. They were very nice and went above and beyond to help in any way they could. One thing I feel they could do to improve is that I have had difficulty figuring out how much I owe them, and they have not been very good at communicating this to me when I have inquired. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

My parent entered the Canton Regency recently. I think it will be OK. The aids are all friendly and helpful and seem to get to people as quickly as possible. It is very clean and well kept. The food in assisted living is OK but not restaurant style. For now we are happy and my parent will stay.

My Mom visited Friday and a scheduled a tour for my Uncle on Monday. Very nice.

Overall we've had a good experience with Canton Regency! It's a very clean, well kept community, and the staff have all seemed very caring and professional. They really take good care of the residents as well as the facility itself, they are very thorough! They also do a great job with the activities, there always seems to be plenty going on. They've got the place running like a well oiled machine, and it creates a comfortable and enjoyable environment for the residents.

From our first visit, we knew that Autumn Leaves was the right place for my Mom. The environment is so very home-like ---- a comfortable place for my Mom and, almost as important, a comfortable place for people to visit and spend time. The sense of community from the residents, their families and the staff, is refreshing. There is also such a personal touch to the care. My Dad, my sisters and I are thankful that Autumn Leaves offers this type of living alternative. I know my Mom would feel the same way.

Carol was great. Very candid, which I appreciated. Unit is definitely dementia and Alzheimer's only. Mom won't be going there soon, as she is still able to manage her own home with help. Facility seemed pretty nice. I would go back for a closer look when I get more serious about committing.
