Sodalis Elder Living

This community is a pleasant environment and I am certainly happy with how they are treating my family member. They have activities like card games, dominoes, gardening activities, movies, prayer services and more for the residents to do.

This was a good community however, they were a bit on the higher end.

Staff is loving and caring! I highly recommend Sodalis if you ever need help with taking care of your family!

Home like environment with caring staff and Sodalis company that really cares about your loved ones quality of life. My grandmother home was here, and I would recommend for anyone’s loved one.

They were very accommodating when we transferred from another facility to Elmcroft (soon to be Sodalis). And they let me do interim daycare for several days and didn't charge me for it, which was very helpful. I was so grateful for that. The staff are great. I just like their personalities. They're very helpful and answer questions in a timely manner. It's always stressful when your loved one with dementia can't communicate to you what's going on. But they've made me feel like I made the right decision. I think it's a good value, and hopefully that doesn't change with the upcoming change in management/ownership.

This place is so alive and full of energy!! The staff are the most respectful group you will ever meet. The residents are always laughing and having a good time.

They have extremely pleasant staff. The staff are caring. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are keeping good watch over my loved one during my loved one's stay. They have other residents who are ambassadors, to assist the other residents as well.

We had a great tour with Elmcroft. They were very friendly and gave us a lot of information. I went back and was able to watch a couple of their activities as well.

My aunt has no complaints she has been there for 3 months. They have activities like card games, happy hour, little table games for the residents to play. They also have art classes and my aunts paintings look really nice. They are also currently being bought out and changing management at the end of this month .

I would recommend to really check this community out. The staff are good.

We chose Sodalis College Station because of the value for the money, it was quite a bit less expensive than some of the other places we looked into. The facility is only a year old so we knew it would be kept up and cared for well, the overall appearance is beautiful, it almost looks like a hotel when you walk in. When you put a loved one in any facility, just make sure you make visits and ask your questions. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We have been extremely happy with our experience with Sodalis-Stone Oak. All of the staff members treat us and mom so well. The environment is great and we really could not be happier. We would recommend to others looking.

This facility was very nice. We went with the place we did only because it was more convenient and closer to home.

This is a very nice community. With covid there is no one working there and that does needs to change, they are going through people quick and this is affecting the care services. I feel like housekeeping could do a little better in the rooms. The people are very nice however, I do not feel like request are carried out.

We chose Elmcroft of Austin because it is a very convenient location to my house and from being that close, I had heard form others that had used Elmcroft for their loved ones. The room sizes here are on the smaller side but it adequate for what he needs. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

Very personable tour guide. Will work with you and adapt for your loved one. This is a one story facility. They have 40 clients which I like the small number. Great menu choices, lots of activities. Minimum respite care of 14 days but there are good reasons for that. They arrange any therapy needed and want to ensure your loved one is comfortable and gets the care they need. They have a monitoring system that is state of the art.

The facility is very nice, clean, and neat. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I'm anxious for my mom to move in in 2 days.

I was very happy that they brought us in and showed us the place. It looked very similar to another place our loved one had lived in previously in a different area. What I didn’t like is there’s so much traffic in to get to Symphony, especially on 281, and I didn't want to have to deal with that traffic every time I went to see her. Also, it's a much bigger place, and I think having a smaller place for her is best since she has dementia. I didn't have a problem with them at all. It was clean, and friendly, and available. The gentleman who took us around knew all the residents and was very informative. It just came down to the traffic for us, which may not be an issue for everybody.

We chose Elmcroft of the Mainland because it was very close to where her house is as well as the affordability. When covid was at the highest, I was getting emails from them constantly so they were really good at keeping us updated about what was going on. They were understaffed while she was here, they did not have ad river for their van to take residents places. I would recommend to others looking.

The community has both assisted living and memory care. They have been working with her and she has not had to go to memory yet. Communication is good between the staff and my family. They keep us well informed and return calls back in a timely manner. I would recommend this community to others.
