Thought mother might have some trouble finding her way around. the hallways seem to wind around alot. Too many options on where to go.

Toured with Tiffany. Very nice facility with nice sized rooms. The 2BR unit overlooked the ravine with a nice balcony. Residents have a call alert necklace included but the only check on them is if they show up for dinner or not (all 3 meals included) It is slighly less than DRV but wish there were more checks on residents. Probably need to take parents by to see

It wasn't as warm and inviting as Silverado but the people seemed very attentive.

Nice facility; nice dining areas; residential areas nicely furnished; plenty of activity options; will probably not be a fit for us at this time due to my mom's mobility limitations. [staff representative] was very good and knowledgeable; he made good recommendations and referrals.

I thought the activities were great and the approach to letting them live in their reality when possible was good. The app for seeing what activities he did was nice too. There would be pictures sometimes.

I toured Carver Heights Estates Senior Living and it was an older facility. We wanted Carver and they wanted us, however unfortunate, as our deadline got closer they did the evaluation and it took too long for them to get back with us. When they did get back with us, they realized my dad was not a good fit. They couldn't deal with his high level of care which really was not informed by us, because we had the impression the whole time that they could take him. They did mention that they needed to do an evaluation before accepting him, but it took days before we got an answer. I was then under the crunch of having to find another place before he was released from the hospital's rehab. Carver was the closest community to our house and they told us they couldn't accommodate his high level of care, although they gave the impression that they could.

Whenever I talk to my loved one, she says it has been a pleasant experience. They've made provisions to make sure her medications are correct. She gets three meals a day. They do a pretty good job keeping her place cleaned up. And the cost is comparable to some of the other places I checked out.

The staff members overall friendliness is a definite plus, they are very nice to our loved one and to us when we come to visit. Our loved one really enjoys speaking with them and she likes being at Layton Terrace which is really important. We would definitely recommend them, but they could work on a few improvements. Sometimes the response time when our loved one needs assistance is slow. When the dining hall is shut down due to covid and the meals are being delivered, a few times they have forgotten our loved ones food. They have activities, but the recreationally activities we do wish was also geared towards those with onsite memory loss even if they are still on the independent side.so the billing can be a little bit inconsistent.

I felt like it was not a true representation, when you speak to them they don't tell you what's going on. Activities for memory care are not very good and the staff doesn't really take that much of an interest in the residents who are in memory care. We are trying to work through some issues, and if it wasn't such a dramatic change for my loved one, I would've moved him by now. I will say that the director is trying and doing what she can to accommodate and change things for my loved one.

I toured Arrowhead Lodge Senior Living and I chose another community based off of my first impression here. Arrowhead didn't have that open, airy, and comfortable feeling I was looking for. It just wasn't a good fit for my loved one.

This was a nice community but the prices were a little higher than other communities. It was really expensive and did not have as many activities and things to do as another community that I was looking at and the location was also further. The community was not bad at all there was just another community that worked out better for my loved one.

With covid they had a huge loss of staff and are operating short handed. Service in the dining room is operating super slow. The administrator is extremely effective, but does not have the nicest bed side manner. Up until now, the food has been good. They did just change companies so now an outside company is providing meals and I am already hearing complaints about the new menu. I do think they could improve on the cleanliness of certain parts of the facility. My mom loves it and if I had to do it over again, I would definitely still put her here. Overall it has been a great experience, they could just use some improvements.

The people were nice but the room was no bigger than a walk in closet. I did not feel like this was the right place for my loved one. This community also smelled like urine, a horrible smell.

We really like the simplicity of the community as well as the entire layout. Everyone was a big help getting our loved one in and settled. However, our loved one is not to fond of the quality of the meals and we wish there was more of a variety of activities. There are a lot of church services and bible studies every single day, but we wish there was more interactive and stimulating activities.

Brookdale Park Place was very slow with getting back to me and following up so we decided to look into other facilities.

We have to take our loved ones experience each day with a grain of salt, some days she is very with it, and other days she is very confused. However the staff have been very responsive, they run a clean place and it is well appointed. They provide entertainment shows for the residents daily.

we did a Virtual tour with this community. It was very informative and they answered all our questions. the tour was good but i understand that at the time the restrictions, but I would have like to seen some of the community.

It's very difficult because we're dealing with a pandemic. There has not been clarity between all of the staff with what they're doing. We'll get different answers from different staff, and that's hard as an outsider to navigate. Communication was lacking in general. For a while we were getting answers when we needed info, but then the staff changed. And when one staff member was out, nobody got back to us for two weeks. Before the pandemic, it seemed like they were offering a lot of activities . But we haven't had to opportunity to try them with the pandemic. The food was good quality, good portions for their clients, and they had a nice variety. It was good, better than I expected.
