The senior staff at Winterberry Heights were great, they really took their time to answer all of our question when we first came to visit, and to make sure we felt comfortable. Our loved one didn't participate much in the activities but from what we saw they were great. The food at this community would be about a 4.5 out of 5 stars and the rooms were nice, our loved one chose to live in one of the smaller rooms they provided.

My Aunt lives here and LOVES it! I am so happy for her. She has friends to talk to, loves the activities and the dining. The staff are so warm and caring. I just can't say enough nice things.

Great staff and leadership team. Every time I visit I’m always greeted with professionalism. I’ve been assisted throughout the campus in such a gracious manner. From the executive director to the house keeping staff, the standard of excellent care for not only my mother, but also myself as a visitor is very evident. This is our 3rd facility, and I’ve finally found the right place!

My mother lived at Brookdale Northville for 2 and 1/2 years. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was so caring, kind and attentive. The residents were like extended family and altogether it was a great experience. [name removed], the director, [names removed] were always keeping us up to date. [name removed] the activity director kept everyone engaged and the field trip to the DIA was so memorable! Family nights and Christmas parties were always great fun. We miss our Brookdale family! We are so grateful we found you!

Having mom at this lovely community has been an incredible blessing. Knowing she is able to receive the best of care has taken a great burden off my soul. Her quality of life during these trying times has been fabulous. Nothing pleases me more than to see how kind and caring the staff is to her. Many many thanks!!

I recommend Magnolia Springs to anyone that needs a place for their loved ones. Very nice facility and kind people.

We chose Leisure Park because it had good ratings, it was clean, and the people seemed more friendly and knowledgeable. They also had independent living apartments that were nicer and larger than other places we visited. The food here is good, they have a lot of variety and my dad loves it. My favorite part about the community is they are friendly and accommodating. I would recommend.

The staff is super understanding and patients while helping us all adjust as a family to this new way of living for my dad.

I've been to visit my sister, and she seems to be well taken care of. It appears her room is getting cleaned. They are starting to go back to activities. I would recommend it to friends. The room is decent and my sister seems satisfied with the room size.

While my in-person tour was restricted due to Covid-19, [name removed] was most helpful in describing the apartment layout along with detail of the unit paint/carpet scheme. It would appear that Forwood Manor management has instituted very strict safety requirements (gowns, masks, gloves, face shield), which is a sign of their concern for the safety of residents and employees. [name removed] is a wealth of knowledge about the facility and the management company. I saw residents walking outside on the property wearing appropriate safety masks. From the outside of the building, I saw that the apartment I was considering has 2 big bay windows, which look ideal for plants. Forwood Manor appears to be a nice place to live.

They treated my mother well. It was a very clean place. They had activities for the residents, if they didn't want to do the activity, they did try to push. We did have a private caregiver with my mother. I'm not sure if my mother was not truly on her own. Having a private caregiver in, I'm not sure with the community if that made a difference. I'm not sure it made a difference at all. My mother never complain about the way she was treated. The caregiver did have to remind about medications. However, that happens in some other communities as well. The value was really good, it was about twice the cost to put her in a community down near me in DC. It was an eye opener for me due to the cost. She did remember some locations when going on bus rides. I believe my mom was happy there. It was a very pleasant place. Overall I think they treated her very well. They knew her name. When I visited they treated her well and everyone with dignity.

The time has come for my father to accept help on a daily basis at 80 years of age. We talked about his options and decided on Gardens of Westlake. Gardens was our first choice due to our positive experience with my father in law who lived at Gardens some 10 years ago. Though we were apprehensive due to the COVID pandemic, we called and set up a virtual tour of several available apartments with [name removed] who is their director of sales. [name removed] found the perfect apartment for my father with a private patio facing the beautifully wooded property at Gardens. When we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed with open arms to the Gardens community. Every employee we met was courteous and professional making the move a pleasant experience despite the pandemic. All Garden employees were wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and treated the pandemic very seriously. I feel we are in great hands here and I'm looking forward to seeing my father thrive at Gardens at Westlake.

The staff at Magnolia Springs Lexington are some of the most kind and patient people I've met. I am so glad that my mother is living there during this pandemic. Not only are they keeping the residents safe, they go out of their way to treat residents like family. Kudos!!

[name removed], our advisor came to our house well prepared with pictures, brochures, handouts, etc. and answered all our questions. She did an exceptional job and we are really hoping we can have this place as my brother's home.

I have worked in the industry for sometime and it always amazes me the level of caring and professionalism of the staff at Grand View. The activities are always creative and bring back memorable moment for the residents. It is very impressive. There is no need for a second choice because this is the only one.

[Name removed] was extremely knowledgeable about the property. Very thorough with the tour and great on providing the follow up she said she would do. Highly recommend taking the time to meet with [name removed].

Needless to say Magnolia Springs is a very clean and attractive place. Staff is friendly and will help in any way they can. Prior to the pandemic, one or more activities going on at all times of the day. However, with COVID-19 staff worked hard to find new ways to help residents physically and psychologically. If you want a good place to live in your later years, this is it.

[Name removed] was honest and up front from the very beginning. The rooms are also larger for the price and they had a good move-in bonus at the time. Everything seemed to happen just right.

Beyond the tastefully decorated building, range of activities, entertainment, and delicious meals, the Brookdale community is blessed with a wonderful staff. These dedicated men and women are inspiring. The staff members and caregivers know each resident's name, and their loving attention to each resident helps create a home-like atmosphere.
