This facility was just fine, but it seems like an older facility. It also feels a little more like a nursing home than we would like.

Brookdale Longview was dingy, old and depressing. It was cluttered. As soon as my cousin and I walked in, we shook out heads and had the same impression, they need a facelift. It was not what we were looking for.

Older facility but with appears to be a great staff of personnel. Ms Van Sciver was very helpful and gave me a wonderful tour.

I like the size of the facility and the modernization of it. I did not like that. The rooms were very small and the facility itself seemed a little dirty.

The care I received has been wonderful from all but a couple of the RA’s. Recently though two of the absolute best RA’s were fired. They went out of their way to be helpful. I am really sad about it. The food service is ridiculous. Too much spice and sodium. We are elderly and need low sodium, less fried, and less spicy food. I have been waiting for two months to get the kitchen light and my window leak fixed. The girls work very hard here. They are chronically understaffed and working double shifts. I think administration needs some remediation and conferences on how to manage their staff.

The staff was very nice. The facility is very old and run down. The furniture is old. Maintenance looks neglected. And though I wanted a one story facility, this place felt institutional. It was also much more expensive than the assisted living facility I chose. Everyone that worked there was amazing. It's too bad they don't get any help from ownership in presenting a maintained, well cared for environment.

My mother is relatively new in the facility. I think the staff so far is attentive, caring and friendly. I can't give it a fair assessment at this point. But today, a 3+. I am looking for the consistency in her care and professionalism continues.

The executive director was easily accessible and open to listen to and address any of my concerns. The staff were very friendly. Checking on the patients more frequently during the evenings and nights

i had a stroke in 2017 and became handicapped. this is my third Assisted Living. on [date removed] I moved to Brookdale AL which soon was taken over by Westmark. I had become broke in previous places, and here it seemed reasonable at first, no more. I currently struggle with over$[removed] monthly fees. My only money sources are SS and a very small pension from a private company in New York

Beautiful facility, nice amenities, great administrative staff. Weakness was because the facility is fairly new, the caregivers were not great - lots of turnover.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The weekend staff could use some help and improvement. Yes, we would recommend FountainBrook to oher families based on the experience we have had so far.

I think it is a good facility for someone who is more independent. The food definitely lacks in variety and presentation. The nursing staff is lovely. The aids and care attendants are generally helpful but seem to be overwhelmed sometimes with the workload. My Dad requires quite a bit of attendance and I understand that there are additional care levels but not sure how with their current staff level they could accommodate many people with heavy care needs. The food is bland and poorly prepared. I understand that their chef was out for a while but even since he has returned it does not seem to have improved much. Activities are basic and over the holidays there was nothing planned for those that had to stay at the facility.

Don't expect call backs when waiting for information. Don't expect to get updated information for services like housekeeping and laundry services. Don't expect people to readily offer information for items that you don't know.

I think staff is great but understaffed. My mom's room could get cleaned more frequently. And I would like to see more reminders for activities. I feel my mom misses a lot of them. After hours no one answers the phone on assisted living side I have to call memory care. Same with answering the door after hours. Maybe get a keypad for entry after hours or a card to swipe to open the door.

I think Elan Corpus Christi is great, but I think they have a hard time keeping staff. I'm not sure if that is the case for all assisted living places or just them. My aunt really needed skilled nursing and my uncle needed memory care. Elan worked very hard to accommodate them but at the end of the day their needs were great. Once my aunt passed away we did move my uncle to the memory care side of Elan. It was very hard on my uncle. We had caregivers coming in for 16 hours/day. He passed away two months after my aunt.

My loved one is a resident at Duncanville Senior Living. The senior nurses and directors are always brushing you off and are never available. They never follow up. They mix up residents' clothes when washing. They also allow other residents to go into other residents' homes and take items. The move in process was okay. The meals are okay, not the best quality. Management needs to be available more when questions are needed to be answered. And clothes need to be washed.

The staff is friendly. Activities seemed limited. The residents spent too much time in their rooms. The food served just didn't look appetizing. I didn't eat because everything looked over cooked. However, my husband eats anything. I might recommend. It would depend on the awareness of the memory patient and how often someone checked on them.

I toured this facility and really liked it. Great view, affordable, run very well. They also followed up with me via phone after my tour, which I appreciated and thought was great.

We really like that the GoodLife Senior Living community has a homey feel to it and is welcoming. It does not give off that cold nursing home feel at all. We also really like that family and friends can come visit at any point whether is early in the morning or late at night - no appointments or scheduling needed. Families can also come to the community and cook and invite however many people they want - the community is very open like that. The friendliness of the staff was great when our loved one first moved in but with the turnover and new staffing coming and going sometimes it just depends. The meals and dining services seem to be okay. We do think the staff could improve on their documentation and communication to the families - when a loved one falls sometimes it does not get reported or communicated back to the families.
