My mom is living at Summit Place Senior Campus. She is doing fine so far. The care is going pretty well. My sister visits her often.

The facilities were state of the art and quite nice. The assisted living apartment was small but had a very large bathroom. The elevator that the residents use in the assisted living wing was not located close to these apartments and residents would have a long walk to their apartment. The assisted living dining room was nice as well as the "Bistro" dining area. Long wait list for independent living apts and some larger assisted living apts.

This is a private pay only facility. While my mother has enough funding for a few years depending on what happens, she will eventually run out of money. This place was nice but once her money is gone she must leave. I don't want to be moving my mother from facility to facility. She will need memory care and moving her would be disruptive. Ideally I would like to keep her in the same place as long as possible.

We toured here when we were looking for options for my loved one. The quality was on par with pretty much all of the places we looked at. They seemed to have good activities going on, and a really great staff. They didn't have the room type availability for what we needed.

Things are going just fine since my mother-in-law has moved to Parkshore Senior Campus. She is pretty much adjusted now to the move. The staff is friendly and responsive, the food is fine. They offer a lot of activities for the residents to participate in if they would like. It has been a good place and experience. I would recommend others who move loved ones here to follow up like any place to check on things. I am real pleased with this community.

My brother is happy at Brightondale Senior Campus. He is adjusting well to moving there. He has made several friends since being there. The staff genuinly cares for the residents and are very helpful. The facility feels very comfortable and he feels welcome there, not like a burden at all. He is a private guy for the most part but he does really enjoy being there. I feel the process of finding Brightondale and moving my brother in there went well.

I don't know who to go to for what. There are a lot of departments/umbrella's. Maintenance does not always handle what I think they may, for example.

I feel everyone is working toward success for my mom. The food is a challenge. It is not consistently great. She eats breakfast at 8:30AM and is expected to be hungry again at 11:30. Even the aides think this is not a good situation. In memory the residents are not given the opportunity to have a choice in their meals as the residents in the main dining area. Why can't my mom be taken to the main dining area for meals? She truly feels the way meals are served in the memory area are without manners. I have experienced many of these meal times and it is not great. Maybe someone needs to take a closer look in this area. I do feel mom is safer than she has ever been, but she does need to be walking much more than she is doing. Don't get me wrong, we are happy, but I feel you should be taking a closer look at what is being done for the memory residents.

Our experience with Village Shores has been a good one overall. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, and the facility is well kept and clean. We haven't had any issues at all!

My dad has been a resident for just about a month and is very happy. The staff has been very friendly and helpful, the food is great, and his apt. is just what he needs. I would recommend this facility without hesitation.

While I am not the actual resident (my father), I can say the Village Shores experience so far has been great. They were very helpful during the move in process, and everyone is SO friendly. It seems like most people are long-term residents, which says it all.

This location offered nearly all of the pluses I had in mind, but I'm still figuring out whether or not I can afford it.

The facility was nice: clean, many activities, some very nice (but relatively expensive) floor plan options, well landscaped, and the food options looked good. One complaint: person taking me on tour was pleasant, but excused herself several times to attend to other matters and made a point of chatting with - not just acknowledging and/or greeting - almost everyone we encountered, as if to impress with how busy, well-known and well-liked she is. It came across as being intrusive and needy on her part; it was not necessary or professional. Very off-putting.

The facility was very well kept and maintained. The staff were very professional, their interaction with each other and their conduct with the people who lived there we felt was excellent. The only reason for moving our family was they did not except elderly waiver or medicaid, accepted only self pay. What would help a great deal, is the ability to assess what the real cost is when comparing facilities. The ability to know before hand whether they are only self pay or can or would accept elderly waiver or medicaid if they run out of money. The only way to really evaluate a facility is to visit it with your loved ones. Listen and watch how the staff interacts with the residents and each other. That will tell you more than any rating system regarding your confidence in the facilities ability to care for your loved ones and knowing that they will be safe.

No dogs. Really nice facility including great work out room and pool. Close to Target. 1 bed is in price range.

She has been available to answer all of our questions. We have a move in date of April 9th and Mom is excited to make the move that she has already begun packing. It was with the information and guidance provided by your service that made this part of the challenge...well much less of a challenge.

She is in independent living. Their staff is great, I can't say enough. Two meals a week are included, and you can buy additional meals whenever you want. There is a full kitchen in the apartment. They have exercise class tons of outings, bible study, cards, lots of stuff. That's just the stuff I know off the top of my head! After we saw Brightondale, my mom decided that she didn't need to view anymore because we liked it so much.

It was beautiful, it was gorgeous, but the guy who was showing us around was new and he got lost in the hallways. My dad being 94 has his dog who is very important to him and he wouldn't have been able to walk those long hallways to take him outside.

Love this place. Have friends whose loved ones are or have been residents here. A warm welcoming environment. Rooms were rather small but encourages residents to get out and get to know their neighbors.
