Lovely facility, seems like there is a lot being done for the residents. Residents seemed happy and satisfied with the living.

Very nice also, similar to thw Waterford, but not as organized. Their employes were very helpful, but it also had the nursing home appearance.

Very Nice place beautiful green space and rooms were a good size and clean. Only down side is that that section of Johnson's Ferry is very congested during rush hour so will have to plan visits accordingly. Staff was quite friendly and very knowledgeable. It is in the top 4 of my picks.

We visited this facility on Sunday evening, October 10, probably not the best time to do this. We had not scheduled a tour but I had received monthly updates on the activities through a publication, so I felt somewhat familiar with that. However, most of the residents were either in their rooms or away for the holiday weekend. I was impressed with the physical condition of the home and grounds. However, I was a little concerned with the security. I saw no attendant at the desk at any time and the 2-3 employees we saw never asked if they could help us nor did they try to find out who we were there to see.

Very clean and helpful staff. Felt really comfortable and friendly. Willing to join 2 studio to get what Dad wants. A larger town than Dad wants but is familiar with this area

This was a good tour and they gave me enough information to be able to tell me what all they could do for my loved one. This community just did not seem like the right environment for my loved one.

The Pointe could work to improve on their overall general maintenance, the carpets in the main hallways need work and again just the overall maintenance. They are making a really good effort but we would of wished for more extended training for the aid staff.

My Mother recently moved to Garden Estates, must say that a deciding factor in the move was [name removed], director of sales and marketing. Even before I made an appointment with her to visit the community, she was very helpful in answering questions and since the move [name removed] is the one person I know that when there is a issue and I bring it to her attention she makes sure to proceed with the remedy. And most importantly speaks to the residents when she greets them and makes visits and phone calls to check in on them [Name removed] is very professional in her job and takes the time to make each resident feel that they are important. Thank you [name removed] - you are the reason that my Mother made the move to Garden Estates.

Our mother has been there for about 9 months and has adjusted fairly well. The marketing person is very considerate and responsive. She is the main reason we considered Garden Estates. We have also found several of the attendees to be very helpful and take good care of our mother.

My loved one has recently made the move into this community and so far things are going okay. I think the staff could have some more personality would be my only suggestion. I feel comfortable with the care but I would like it if they could smile more and act like they enjoy what they are doing. My aunt at least makes it down for one out of the three meals they provide and enjoys them very much.

We toured this community and my mom did not feel like this would be big enough community. they had a chef and a nice menu. They had a lot of great activities. This was too big for my mom. The staff were very nice and caring to what we were looking for. I would suggest families see this community for the care and value.

Jury is still out. Lots of potential here. Food, environment, location are all good. They are very understaffed and very quick to point out state guidelines instead of focusing on the right number of staff needed to provide good basic care. They are suppose to check on the residents every 2 hours but that rarely happens. Most of the staff really care--a few are taking up space. Management tries to force the residents into their structure instead of creating a structure that caterers to the residents. Medication management costs are ridicules and are way too high. They don't seem open to suggestions. Almost defensive when confronted. More staff and more flexibility to residents needs and this place would be first rate.

I was set to move into this community when a new employee called me and let me know I had to pay for their medical insurance or I could not move in. I did not move in there due to this issue. The community was nice and I was looking forward to moving in. The food was good and there were nice size rooms.

I have my Mother and Father here in a two bedroom apartment. Potential for a great place but currently severely understaffed to the point of Psychological neglect. Yes that is correct. Personal witness of residence waiting more than an hour for assistance. Food is NOT that good, mostly starch, way too salty, vegetables canned and nothing fresh. Mostly Prepackaged foods. No recipes or cooking that I could observe. Not very nutritious for the elderly. 95% of the staff gives good service when they do give service and for the most part are caring and compassionate. Middle management has been very responsive but really do not have the power effect a change. We are currently moving up the chain of command. We will see if we can get anywhere.

The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nice and very roomy. It is very new and right now it is understaffed. They could use more help, which I know will come in the future. The food is good, but there are times when it is cold and you have to ask to have it re-heated. My husband has been in Memory Care for 2 weeks, so I may be being a little pre--mature with the reviews.

Could use some updating property wise, but over all everyone there is really nice, there is alot to do there the people there make the world a difference knowing that an elderly person can be here and be taken care of so far it has been a good place for my mom.

I chose the court for my Mother because it had everything I was looking for at a reasonable cost compared to others. I am disappointed that it was not pointed out to me they do not supply grab bars for the toilet area in the independent side. I asked about "handi cap friendly" and the answer was yes. Saw the emergency set ups and the shower is but not the toilet. Not sure what to do about that. I was expecting it to have one.
