They are doing a good job, they are clean and friendly. I can't really think of anything that could be improved. The staff were probably the main deciding factor for us.

I cannot say enough good things about Pelican Bay. I think the facility inside looks like a high end resort. The staff are so kind and caring. And my aunts needs are met promptly. We are very pleased.

They were great. They were real good to me there. I would definitely refer anyone to them.

The service was extremely helpful and your advisor was friendly, polite courteous, informative, and very knowledgeable. She continues to follow up with me to monitor the progress are the lack there of. I am wonderfully appreciative of the assistance I have gotten. I will without any hesitation recommend this service.

They do a good job here. I don't get a chance to visit often since I am located quite a distance away, but I feel like she is safe here and she sounds happy. The nurses and staff here are very good, and I feel like they do a great job of making sure she stays active. They also keep the place nice and clean. From what I have heard she is also really enjoying the food!

We've used this place a few times for temporary care for my Mom, and they've always done a great job. It's a nice looking, clean place. The staff have always been friendly, caring, and competent. They treat her very well, and Mom has always been happy to go back.

I have reserved a room for my parents with this facility. I have visited them 4 times and hopefully will be pleased.

I love it! We have good communication with each other. They always contact me, I feel like I am in the loop. I visit quite often. I think they do a great job of taking care of everyone and making sure that they are in the right place. They have games, outings, they went to Floyd's Seafood and my brother and I ran into them! Another thing I like is that they can take my mom to her doctors appointments and I can meet her there, it's a lot safer for her. At Christmas a group came out and played Gaelic and Christmas music! They have a great activity center. Beauty shop and mom gets her hair and nails there. She has friends and visits people, it's a lot more social. Everyone says they want to move in with her! It is coed, but it is supervised better. Memory care they had fewer people so they were able to really keep track.

The Court at Round Rock is a wonderful assisted living facility. Both my father and my husband's mother have lived here. I don't know how they do it, but every staff member seems to know each resident and their needs, likes and dislikes individually. The care is incredibly personalized and everyone seems to truly love your loved one. The receptionists, the nurses, the housing aides, the dining staff, the chef, the facilities handymen, the bookeeping staff, as well as the Director and Director of Community Relations - everyone is professional and competent while being compassionate and thoughtful. You could not find a better home for your loved one.

I couldn't have found a better place for my mother. She spent several years there before she passed away. She received the most wonderful care. At the end, my mother belonged in a nursing home because of the level of care she required, but they never even suggested that she move. Hospice came in at the end and assisted in my mother's care right there at Garden Estates. They were absolutely wonderful. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful care she received.

I have met a whole bunch of wonderful people here-- the staff, the crew and the residents. The housekeeping crew keep the place as clean as is possible. The kitchen staff really has a difficult task but they manage to get it done-- and people have choices of food.

They are wonderful. We haven't have any problems. My dad is a lot happier there. Every one is very nice. He likes that they don't treat like he is five years old and he really feels independent. My dad is a big complainer and the only thing that he complains about is the portion of his food. I really like Vicky and Judy, the women that run the front office. There aren't as many activities, which is a draw back. I wish they did more because it would prevent my dad from smoking so many cigarettes! Judy is the best greeter, if anyone is going to go and look they should ask for Judy. I still hug her every time I go and see my dad. They put him on the resident council committee so that he can feel like he has a say in what happens.

We were looking for assisted living and about to "settle" for a place we were not thrilled with when A Place for Mom suggested we look at The Court. It was an amazing experience. People were friendly and they encouraged residents to gather in the lobby and public areas (the lobby ladies, they are called). The food is amazing (go for a tour just for the scones). The apartment was a good size especially for my mother-in-law who was never in her room. Laundry is done regularly although the bedspreads are often overlooked--and my MIL had a cat so there was fur and hair balls. You pay for the level of care needed and the staff did try to keep costs down. My only real "concern" is that we did not have regular meetings to monitor care. They only happened when there was an issue but given my MIL's condition and age we couldn't have changed anything even if we knew ahead of time. The staff/resident ratio seems good although there was not always a registered nurse on duty. There were plenty of activities although I never saw any excursions or field trips. Lots of music and games. Unfortunately my MIL's condition took a turn for the worse and as she is no longer able to feed herself or get out of bed without substantial help we have had to move her. We would have loved from her to go back to the Court after her hospitalization and stay at a rehab facility but it was not to be. For her to stay we would have needed full time care from an outside agency. No place is perfect but Court is certainly one of the best.

Melanie was very professional and highly effective at communicating the offerings of the community. We appreciated her openness to the 'Day Stay' concept which could fulfill a more immediate need. The facility was very nice and we appreciated the options of the combination of independent living with added assisted living as an option especially in the care of a couple coming in with different needs. This probably is closest to meeting our immediate needs. The two bedroom apartment (royal oak) that she showed us was by far the most 'homey' of all of the rooms that we saw and would provide the best transition option if they moved today. I liked the indoor carpeted hallways. The facility was very clean and appealing in every way and the festive decorations were a fun touch we didn't see at other places. We didn't see many residents, again due to the time of the day of the tour. Of the residents we saw, Melanie greeted two by name and they responded positively to her as well. We would definitely keep this community on the list of options for the future care of our parents.

We've been very happy with Greatwood. It's the only facility that we've had my in-laws in so I don't have anything to compare it to but I would say that the value has been very good. My father-in-law is refusing to get involved in any of the activities. We've looking into them for him but he's not interested. She has dementia and we're probably going to have to look at another facility before long because we've had to add night time home health because she needs more supervision.

I think Garden Estates has a great group of people over there, I do think the money per square foot is a lot. You're going to get more at the Meridian than Garden Estates. We thought it was extremely clean and the food was good but it doesn't have the same selection as meridian.

I can say that the staff here is very focused on caring and maintaining a "homey" atmosphere. It os also very clean. The chef is amazing, the food is great quality, with great variety and is served restaurant style, and the price is more than competitive. There are separate wings for the independent and they have lots of activities. Go check it out if you are looking for a place for your parent.

My mother loves the Court. She can be as active or not as she wants. The staff is fabulous and the food is really good.

I love them, the staff, they are so loving and so caring. They are amazing, the communication is excellent between them and us, anything that happens they pick up the phone and let you know and we want to be hands on so its great. They go out of their way to accomodate my dad, he's had some hard time and they really have gone out of their way. The dementia unit is very small, not many rooms, its a small wing but its a small facility as well and I think they're able to give a little bit more one on one care because of that. The only thing that I would like to see improved is for the dementia unit to have a make over, but they can only do what they can with the funds they're given. I cannot say enough good about them, every nurse I talk to is more than willing to talk to me, they're doing everything they can, I have no doubt about that.

When we visited the community it just seemed so warm and welcoming. The residents appeared to really be happy, which showed me what type of care our loved one would be getting I would very highly recommend this community to anyone.
