This is my first time being involved in a care home. I would give an overall 4 for every category. They were really good to my sister. She was able to stop drinking and was clean her entire stay. Again it's to bad I couldn't afford to continue with her stay as she is failing now.

The staff is wonderful and committed to being helpful, kind and very engaging. The facility is beautiful and feels like a nice hotel which we were going for.

So hard to deliver my Dad to a care facility. But, I liked MH right from the beginning. Caring, helpful staff and care givers. I have not met one person here who isn't wearing a smile. I know my Dad can get out of hand occasionally and they handled it, no problem. Also, my Dad is always happy and smiling as well and that's what is most important too me. Only down side, a little bit spendy

I enjoy living at Mirror Lake Village. It meets my needs. I live in a cottage with an attached garage which is a bonus. It is close to my church and to a Safeway. I only eat at the dining hall for dinner and that is pretty good.

The sales people are great, as are the reception people. I know that it is difficult to keep track of memory care residents, their clothes and possessions go missing as the residents can go into each other's rooms. I think most of the staff are friendly, but English is their second language and it's hard to get information about our resident. I'm not sure what to call our experience so far, but it is overall a nice community. I would like to remain anonymous. I'm not sure the care is the same for Medicaid, as self paid residents.

Weekends lack good activities, I was always hesitant to speak up but when I finally did the admin were appreciative of my input and immediately looked into it to make positive changes. Any environmental concerns, if any, were immediately corrected....I wish more staff had interacted personally with mom. Several did and I appreciated them greatly! I filled out a many page information packet about mom, had a labeled photo album of family and a personal book all about mom....seems like that packet from the facility went into her file and wasn't made use of for staff to interact. I would recommend CIEL but would advise to stay actively involved with your loved one

It is very expensive and the cottages are very small. It is next to a large highway, and not entirely walkable for seniors looking to do something else, like be able to walk to small shops or restaurants. Not the most ideal, independent living set up for those without cars. But the staff is very nice and accommodating.

It's a smaller facility providing staff & resident more of a closer working relationship and setting. What set KM apart is that when you visit below the name tags of staff have number of years worked there. You quickly realize this reflecting that staff stick around this place and management must treated them well.

It seems very nice for people who don't need a lot of care. The facility was much nicer and bigger and the staff was friendly.

The location in proximity to where I live, how light and bright the facility is, the homey feel. I have zero regrets in choosing Generations. I believe they were the absolute best fit for my mom at that stage of her life.

I didn't give them highest marks in some categories, but overall I feel this has been a good experience. We've had few minor problems, but I give them a E for effort. The most significant event was when an outgoing employee informed us that [name removed] was being asked to leave. This was on a Friday and we spent the weekend trying to find a a male only situation for him. On Monday we called back and found the head nurse we spoke to no longer worked there and [name removed] was perfectly welcome.

The facility was fine. Clean and well maintained. The issues we had were due to it being too modern for a person Mom's age, 96. No landline phone or cable tv. Cell phones and streaming to get the channels she used to watch. Very difficult to teach someone that age to stream. I have friends my age that have trouble‚ it really was frustrating for her. Her after surgery, life was hard on her. The activities were okay. Not as many as the facility she came from, but that was independent living. The residents at Holi don't seem to be as interested in activities. The housekeeping was good. The lady we always saw clean Mom's room was wonderful. A very nice and helpful lady who always kept mom's room clean. The people who helped Mom with her daily living were also very kind. Always cheerful and Mom liked the vast majority of them. The move in went smoothly with no problems. The food was probably better than we heard about, but not what I would say is a strong point. The daily specials were often something that older adults would probably not choose if they had a choice. Their secondary menu selection was very poor. I personally would not have been happy with most of the food and meals myself. Where Mom came from, and where we moved her to, had menus that are far superior. All that being said, we are thankful that Holi stepped up and sped the process along when she was discharged from rehab. That's another story. I'll never forgive the insurance company involved. As far as recommending them, my Mom's situation was unique. Finding a place for her with her medical need was tough. A person with an Ostomy issue has a big obstacle in finding a place. Other than that, she was active and really missed her old life doing things. From my perspective, a lot of the residents that we saw were closer to nursing home than assisted living. We would tell people that. We wouldn't just badmouth them.

I would tell a friend that I was relieved to have my mother somewhere that I trusted she was being cared for. She was grateful to be there. I picked it over others because I would never have to move her again ( regular care, memory care and hospice care).

I toured The Lodge at Mallard's Landing during my search for an Assisted Living facility for my loved one. The tour was fine, but I felt that I could have had a bit more time. I loved the atmosphere there, but when I considered it for my dad, I found it to be too large and spread out and thought this could be overwhelming for him. There are lots of stairs (and elevators). It was very comfortable seeming, like a lodge. They have been voted Best Food in an Assisted Living, but I didn't have a meal.

Retrieving medication at the end of my loved one's stay required few returns before we had her correct medication. I also question if she received her daily medication since her acetaminophen was not opened and her Memantine appeared to be at the same level when I dropped her off.Otherwise, I am pleased with the service she (and I) received.

What I like the most about this community is how patient the staff members are with the residents here. They generally seem to enjoy their work as well. The people there have made it a good experience - they are so caring and patient. Also the facility is large and airy.

My experience was satisfactory and I have no complaints. I rate all a "4". The Memory Care was understaffed staff and yet were attentive and responsive to patient needs. Basically, Mirror Lake met our needs for our family member for the short six weeks he was in their care along with Evergreen Hospice Care.

The food is great. The staff are very kind. My place is very quiet.

It is ideal for parents in need of transition to assisted and memory care, and full-service memory care. It has great staff and location, and is a well managed facility. It is on the more reasonable end of financial commitment.

My loved one and family have had a good experience with Holi Senior Living. The community is clean. The staff is very caring. Everyone from the staff to residents are friendly. Overall, we would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
