Nice, but frequent change in management

For being in down town Methuen nice setting, very quite, clean, friendly staff. Equiped to assist with memory issues, on the high end of affordable.

Government assisted. They liked it but it is really bare bones!

she was very nice & was able to answer all of our questions. Was pleasantly surprised that the inside of the building was very bright and cheery didn't get that feeling from the outside of the building. Loved the whole program on diet and activites including the art room. The compass program was why went there and was impressed with that whole side, so far the best memory care unit we have seen.

READ THEIR CONTRACT CAREFULLY. IN LESS THAN A MONTH MY MOM FELL TWICE WHILE UNDER THEIR CARE,NOT ACCEPTABLE ,SHE ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL AND WAS NEVER WELL ENOUGH TO RETURN TO THE HOME .

NO AEDs ON PREMISES STAFF ARE NOT TRAINED IN CPR NURSE LIMITED IN SERVICES

We moved mom in 6 months ago and it has changed ownership/management teams 3 times

Very disappointed in Standish Village. My brother did not stay. The meals were good but that is all. The sales team should be more open and forthcoming about the things they will do and what they will not do. I would say to choose another place. We chose it because I thought it would be a great place for my brother.

Great staff, and effort is made for a good experience. But all the systems are archaic, and being a ‘historic building’ makes improvements more complicated. And it’s hard to evaluate anything during a pandemic!

But not for Dad.... Imagine a dining room with a hundred women's nonstop chatter about 'their day' while four or five men dine alone. Or the nightly movie 'entertainment' consists of a never-ending series of 1940 era musicals, 'Gidget' movies or (shudder..) Barbara Streisand. Two years in captivity one single movie I could stomach (Black Beauty).The staff are polite, helpful and dependable and the food is adequate at best.

Front desk employee’s ([Removed]) are rude and ignore – walk in guests. Dining room -2 male waiters act inappropriately in serving. Food service – “Always” – late & slow. Constantly – running out of food at meal time. Tables and chairs (dining room) unsanitary!

way too far out of our way. was not impressed by the facility. the memory care unit had a strange odor and some of the rooms were right off the kitchen. it seemed cramped and crowded.

Not very bright or cheerful. Seemed more dated and not as clean as other facilities. Dementia portion seemed more depressing than any others that we visited. Rooms have carpet, which does not work for those residents with incontinence.

The assisted living piece of the Heights Crossing is wonderful. The staff are caring and personable. My Mother lived there for approximately 6 years and the experience was truly wonderful. My very negative review is based on my Mother's recent stay in the Memory Care area. We were promised services that were not provided - such as frequent urine testing for UTIs. The food is very bad. Some of the staff are petty and uncaring. My mother's wallet was compromised while living there - one of her credit cards was fraudulently used. The elders sit in straight back chairs like prisoners for up to 12 hours per day. They do not keep the seniors safe. I do not recommend the Heights Crossing for Memory Care. Stay away!

I definitely would not recommend this facility.. not enough staff, Food is okay, facilitation so so.. activates are posted but very often there’s nothing.. hourly activities posted , to make it look like they care and it’s offers a lot of things to do, but not from our experience.

It was a dream come true when my eighty-five year old mom was accepted to Neville & she arrived on [date removed], which is the day that I gave permission for her to get the COVID shot, which I gave her ASAP when it was available & she lived with me. She was recovering from becoming dehydrated at an Assisted Living Residence on the South Shore, Windrose at Weymouth, her first serious physical setback (even a stroke didn't stop her & she danced & was more physically fit than the staff at ALR) & was wheelchair bound for the first time in her life. I was impressed at the physical & occupational therapy. It was only after she tested positive for COVID on [date removed] that I was told that Neville never gave her the COVID shot! Apparently they were waiting for 4 more people to get it. Well Mom is dying & as far as I know, she gets to suffer by herself & 4 more people aren't coming with her. Apparently residents aren't required to get the shot, which is why COVID is running through the place. If your fami

Loved one lived at Goddard for many years. I agree with other reviewer, Goddard could be so much more for their residents, but their board structure and outside management company are out of date in business or non-profit practices. While there, we saw a gastrointestinal virus spread throughout the whole community from their kitchen to which leadership was slow to respond. Many bathrooms are outdated and have resulted in resident accidents. Agree, executive director changed 4 times, head of nursing 3 and head chef 4 times. This place is running on an old reputation and needs better oversight. The head of marketing is terrific if you are on the wait list but once you move in, expect nothing. Favoritism is ramped and starts with their board chair. Look elsewhere; save yourself heaps of problems.

This facility while it looks nice on the outside, was difficult to work with and would not understand my parent's particular needs. They had minimal overnight staff and there was no way to speak with anyone after hours. They allowed other residents to wander into my parent's apartment, which resulted is serious problems. So much so that we removed my parent from this facility. They also had terrible COVID protocol, which resulted in my parent getting extremely sick.

This community was very nice new construction and very high class but the help was not good. they were not the nicest people. They treated me and my loved one bad. The head nurse was not good either. The director of the head of the facility was so nice but the daily staff were not nice.
