We really enjoyed touring Barrington with [Removed]. We ended up at another closer location, but the apartments here are beautiful. Nice architectural details and welcoming staff.

Excellent place to live. Professional and most important caring staff. My father was always very comfortable living there.

My mother moved here recently and really likes it. They did a wonderful job welcoming here to the community. They out her in a group and introduced her to everyone. She has now gone off on her own and is very active. She's doing aerobic classes and crafts. I've tried the food here a few times and it is very good and tastes nothing like nursing home food. We chose The Breakers because the atmosphere was much different than other communities in the area. It didn't feel like a nursing home and felt more like a senior community

Our family member, Rosalie has been at Mangrove Bay for nearly 6 years with 2 years in one of the Villas. She recently transferred from Independent to Assistant Living. There was no question that she wouldn’t remain at Mangrove Bay as she has always felt safe and at home and truly happy here. Her transition to Assistant Living went very smoothly because of the expertise of the staff, namely, Carol - Mktg Dir, [Removed] - AL Dir, [Removed] - Resident Coordinator and [Removed] - AL. They are all a true asset to Mangrove Bay. [Removed] chose to remain in FL and being remote we have the challenge of remote caregiving. After numerous visits we were confident that she was in the right place. Mangrove Bay is a lovely, well run, family-oriented community where residents have become friends and then family. Since the very first move from the Villa to Independent Living [Removed] has been instrumental and such a pleasure to work with. She excels as being the Resident Coordinator. [Removed] is enthusiastic, always smiling and ready to help. No problem is daunting, she finds solutions easily and follows through. The staff, as well as the residents are compassionate, caring and friendly. From the wonderful Independent Living Recreation Director, [Removed] who holds many fun activities for residents to amazing Beverly who offers fun exercise programs to keep everyone moving. Last but not least, the happy atmosphere in the lounge is created by the always cheerful [Removed] who not only serves drinks in Mangrove’s Lounge but also gives friendly individual attention to each resident.

Beautiful. Feels more like a luxury hotel than an assisted living facility.[Removed] spent lots of time with me asking about my dad and discussing options. I went feeling "not really an option, but I should look" and left feeling "OK, this is the place."

So far, they have been taking good care of my mother. She has her own room and the place feels a lot more homey than the nursing home she was at before. She has more privacy and her own bathroom. When she calls for a nurse it only takes about 10 minutes tops for them to get to her. The residents are very friendly and always greet me when they see me.

It's been a very comfortable transition for my parents so far. The community has enough staff and we are comfortable with the care. They are still adjusting but getting involved in what the community has to offer. We chose this community because it was overall a good fit.

The residents are well taken care of and the staff is very friendly. The food taste wonderful, just like my grandma's cooking! I would recommend this place for anyone that wants to know that their loved one's are safe and well taken care of. The rooms are smaller, but the residents are mostly out of their rooms socializing, watching TV, on an outing, or participating in an activity.

After we were shown an apartment and saw the size of it, we decided not to choose them. We were looking for a large apartment to fit our needs. The tour went very good and it was fine but it was not best for us.

Wow! A long overdue move for my brother into assisted living from living independently, but, failing to thrive on his own. We were all nervous and anxious. From the moment we walked in the front doors to start moving my brother in, until, now, over a month later, it has surpassed my wildest dreams for my brother. The staff is exceptional. The ease with which my brother can get assistance with any problem he may have, or, any question he may have, or, even something as simple as finding his way through the building, someone has ALWAYS been there for him. He is so happy. The convenience of having a home service care system onsite has proved to be a life saver, as, he becomes less able to care for himself. He is continually treated with the respect and dignity he deserves and needs in order to thrive. I was a bit concerned about his ability to adjust to this new setting, but, it is as comfortable, respectful, welcoming, non-judgmental, as possible, and, we have found, from the hair stylist in the building, to [Removed], Director of Services, to everyone, no one has one bad word to say about anyone, and, is always willing to help. Again, I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but, it has not, and, I would recommend Lincolnwood Place to anyone looking for a loving, safe and caring environment for their loved one.

I am happy with care of this community. The staff are wonderful and attentive to her needs. She is really liking the activities and she likes going on small trips away from the community. We would recommend this community to other families for good care and a great value.

My husband's aunt is a resident at McCullough Place. It is beautiful, welcoming, smells fresh,and is full of joyful activity. It is exactly the kind of place where I would want to spend that phase of my life. When you enter the foyer, you are in the heart of the home. The dining room is off to the right. Lots of laughter and conversation. You will immediately be greeted by Sheila, a wise and gentle collie. She is immaculate and it is no small feat to maintain a collie. This is one of many indications that McCullough goes above and beyond in the maintenance of every aspect of community life. The activity kitchen is to the left. April bakes cookies with residents and residents can have their own gatherings at the small tables in the kitchen. One of the things that struck me most was that the majority of residents leave their doors open and there is lots of visiting between rooms. McCullough Place has the feel of a college dormitory--full of life and laughter--rather than a place where people are at the other end of life. My interactions with staff and leadership have been pleasant and timely. I always get an answer right away. McCullough has worked hard to accommodate my aunt. I am grateful for my experience there.

I like this community for the care that my mom received. This community is outstanding in every way. It showed a lot of love and it was a good environment. The beautiful place to call home. The meals were outstanding. They did offer activities for my mom. We would highly recommend this to every family for excellent care for a loved one.

We toured this beautiful new community for the care for my mom. We liked the staff very much. We wanted something closed to home. The variety of meals were very nice. We would have been happy with this community but wanted something closer to a different area. Families would be happy with the care of this community and the environment for a family member

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here. The food is very good. I like knowing that she is wanting to participate with the other residents. We found the community to be clean and well maintained. I would recommend the care at this community to other families.

I absolutely loved this community. It is very nice and well cleaned. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with everything. The only reason why we did not pick here was because it was to expensive for what we had.

My mother recently past away after living there for over two years. The staff was friendly and was attentive to my mothers needs. The environment was always welcoming to families and they put on outstanding events. The rooms are small, but was more than enough for my mom. I would recommend this to everyone who wants a place for their mom or dad to call home. We never had to move her when she needed more care.

The staff is all so wonderful; Dining staff goes beyond to make every meal pleasant. I could have not asked for a better senior community.

We had to find a community in very short notice and the staff made the process very easy. The staff was very professional and efficient. We are pleased with the care my father-in-law is receiving here.We didn't have an opportunity to try the food when we toured but they did send us home with a pie!
