Location is still very good (more like a 15 minute drive) but amenities are really strong - the coffee shop in particular is a really nice feature and something that my mother would love. The dining options, activities, and overall facilities condition are all great. Also, I think that, because of the size of the studios, these might actually be an option for my mom and also might be easier to navigate without the additional walls/doors. I did read a few comments that the care was inconsistent and that a few people had felt the need to bring in outside help in addition to the onsite care. Do you have any thoughts on how I should interpret that feedback?

My husband [name removed] and I met with Beth Verity today at 2:30 to discuss the possibility of my dad moving here. It was very informative and we liked the beautiful facility and friendly staff. We learned that Maine makes it easy to transition from private pay to Maine's Medicaid program. I was told that New Hampshire would not allow my dad to apply for Medicaid in their state because he would be coming from massachusetts. So now I think it's wiser for me to place dad in a Maine facility. Sentry Hill is less than 10 minutes from my house and I am frequently in that area, so it would be very convenient for me. I am visiting Evolve at Rye (in New Hampshire) tomorrow, so I will compare it with today's visit to Sentry Hill but I am thinking it's better for dad to come to Maine.

It is a nice place. It is working out fine for my loved one. The best thing about the community is that things seem to be running well. We wish there were more outdoor setting areas for residents and families that visit.

It can seem expensive, I wish they took Medicaid and they don't. This is something you need to think about. The staff are wonderful. It is great to know that our loved one is taken care of. The staff keeps us updated about our loved one. There are a lot of activities for the resident to participate in. The community was with hospice.

Overall I have a good impression. Cleanliness is good. One concern has been the weekend staff across the board. There's just not enough of them, and they tend to be less responsive. The weekly staff overall has been good. They're caring and work closely with my loved one. So the care he receives has been good. The food is good, but I was concerned about the portion size. One day I saw lunch was a small piece of pizza and four onion rings, and then he was offered a piece of pecan pie, which didn't seem like a really balanced meal. But I would recommend this community to others.

The people who led the tour were excellent. They answered all of my questions. Really what I was looking for were the three C’s: care, compassion, and communication. And Bayshore Memory Care met my approval. However, distance played a part in our choice, and we found a different place that I felt embodied those three C's the best.

Our family had a virtual experience and it was a very good tour. They took us around the community and showed us typical rooms and the layouts. They gave us a good idea for the lay of the land.

Everything has been very positive, it is a wonderful place and they are doing a beautiful job. They have a wonderful gym, a wonderful patio where all the flowers people have planted are blooming and growing. It is just gorgeous. Very positive experience.

I love it here. I'm closer to my family and grandchildren now! I am so glad that I moved! I even learned how to play volleyball.

Brookdale Lisle has done an amazing job protecting my mom and all the residents and staff from COVID. The food is amazing also the activities are also being monitored to protect residents, small groups. Beautiful grounds also.

we toured this community and it was a very nice facility. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable. They answered all our questions and were very informitive. The community is on the bigger side and my loved one needed something smaller.

I think you have to be sure of what they do and don't do if your loved one is a full care patient. My only complaint was that our loved one's room was never cleaned, as far as dust and dirt, which we didn't know until we moved her out, because it's considered assisted living. The nursing staff was very nice. The aides - some of them were very nice, and a few of them were very standoffish. I think that my loved one revived good care though. Her skin was intact, and that was a huge thing. She was in a bed or a wheelchair, and she did not have any skin breakdown, so they were obviously taking care of her. The value was very good. They made sure she was included in the activities. They called me when the hair person was there to see if she wanted her hair done. The staff was wonderful. They communicated really well to me. They were responsive to my calls. I can't say enough good things about them. They were really active in taking good care of my mom.

We did a virtual tour of Bayshore. They did a really nice job with the difficult circumstances. It was really convenient because my sister and I live in different states with different time zones so we were both able to be on the tour at the same time and ask any questions that we had. It was a bigger facility so we felt that this would be more confining since they only had one hall for memory care.

I am very pleased and everyone in the community is very nice and very helpful. They are flexible with my visit due to me being a caregiver. They have good to keep the residence safe while being flexible and accommodating for the family. I would recommend this community to others.

I was very happy with Tom. He explained things in detail, explained it again when we didn’t quite get it. Answered all our questions and gave us a nice tour. I liked the place very much. Nicely decorated, bright with lots of window. Smells good too!

It's a very well run organization. It's very clean, immaculate really. My loved one likes everybody there and says they're all very accommodating. He only gets dinners there, and they've been very good. He thinks the food is really high quality. The only thing that's missing is there's no grounds really, no garden or walkway if you like to go outside and walk. They have a beautiful veranda, and a patio, but the outdoor space is extremely limited. Other places at the same cost have pools, and this one doesn't. He chose The Club because he loved the apartment. He got a corner apartment with a lot of light. If your loved one isn't driving, there's not much to do right now during Covid. They do have their own movie theater, and there's a calendar of activities on their internal TV station. They should be offering more once Covid restrictions lift. But there are incredible views here. It's at the top of a hill, and you can see the river and the sound.

The staff is great and does a wonderful job. The food looks good and they have amazing restaurant quality desserts. They have activities starting back up and they have music several times a week. The building is brand new and it reminds me of a five-star hotel. I would recommend this community to others

I think the community is a great place and well worth it. The director has really helped a lot. Communication is good between the staff and our family. They have kept us well informed and up to date. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose The Sheridan because of the independent living facility was exactly what my dad was looking for. I do wish that they would be more personable with the residents as far as encouraging them to participate in activities. Like maybe come knock on the door and take him down there. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

Despite all the setbacks with Covid and my Dad's declining health you worked with our family to get my parents settled into their new environs. North Shore Place is a beautiful community with loving staff and great accommodations. The help of the team at CMFTO , led by [name removed], with the physical move of my parents belongings and then setting up their apartment was "beyond words". We would highly recommend North Shore Place to anyone looking for an Assisted living community for their loved one.
