I would recommend this community for you or your loved one. They have activities at this community like games, happy hour, mixers and more for the residents to do to stay busy. They also have outings to restaurants and places around town, work out classes and more for the residents to do. The staff are friendly and helpful with my loved one.

The staff members at Baywinde are always very responsive to any questions or concerns we may have. The activities are somewhat limited still but they do have different things posted everyday and hand out flyers to the residents as reminders. Our father says the food is just wonderful. The value for the money is spot on.

I have been at the Breakers for a year and a half and the things that drew me here are still the things I like best. The atrium dining room gets light out of the most cloudy Chicago day. I've always wanted to live by the lake and now I can take walks along the beach. I'm a quick half-hour from downtown by el or by bus along the lakeshore. I have my own spot for a little herb garden on the third-floor terrace. All in all, the things I left behind have some pretty wonderful replacements here.

Our loved one has settled in nicely, the staff made sure on our initial tours to really engage with our loved one in conversation. We were very impressed with the staff from the very beginning. You can tell they really know their stuff from the heart, it gave us confidences knowing we are doing the right thing. The place itself is a little limited, the lounge area and activities space is small, but there is a nice little garden.

This was a great community. They gave a lot of information and the tour guide was amazing at this community.

I like the atmosphere, next to the lake, doctors, indoor parking. The room is bigger is what I currently have for less money.

Didn't have the room size we needed and it being on the second floor.

It's just a great place. It really is amazing what they are providing for the price. I had a meeting with the director of marketing and was told all of the manager where going to get with me to talk about what my needs and wants for my stay. The next day I spoke with the kitchen manager to review any dietary needs. I came with nothing, they provided a fully furnished place. This place is a God send. They do a door check every night and then check on the door tag in the morning to make sure you are ok. They have 2 pull chains for assistance in the apartment, 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom. They have water aerobics and a weight room. The dining room is absolutely stunning and the gym as well. The ceilings are glass and it's so bright and nice.

We are very happy with this community. The staff seemed very caring and helpful all the time. Our friend was very happy here. The food was enjoyed by my friend. The staff were good at helping us if there were any questions.

Finally found a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ADA compliant for my parents. I love that everything is included and I no longer have to manage a stack of bills. I was shopping for groceries online for them and spending so much a month and food went spoiled. At Acclaim they got a meal plan and don’t have to worry about dishes and bulk shopping trips anymore. I love that Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy is in the building.

It is beautiful, well equipped with friendly staff who really went out of their way to help us. They are all just nice.

This community was okay but too big for my loved one and felt like she would get lost in the community. The tour was excellent just to big for my mother.

I would highly recommend this community. This is really a nice place and I am lucky that we were able to find it. My loved one is enjoying her time there and it is close to us. This community is top notch and I am happy that they were recommended to us. They have activities like Bingo, magicians that come in and all types of projects, coloring, card games and more for the residents to keep busy. They are great this place is clean, they take care of the residents and they even come in to clean the rooms, all I can say it that they are very good. We are at peace with my loved one being here.

We had a virtual tour at Canfield place, and from what I could tell it looked like an okay place. Really the only thing we didn't like was the cafeteria-style dining, and that's just a matter of personal preference.

The Sheridan is a beautiful and perfect place, the staff here are professional and just fabulous. The food is great, the atmosphere is fabulous. They take great care of us even being on the independent living side. It is 10 stars, we love it here and we are so proud that The Sheridan is our home.

This community was okay but there was another community that I liked more.They took me around and showed me everything on the tour but there was still another that stood out more to me.

We have been very pleased with Canfield Place, our mother is very happy there. We have no doubts about this community, we could not of picked a better place. Everyone there is just tremendous, the staff and their care services get above 10 stars.

The facility was very well kept. It is nice, new and clean. The memory care unit looked great, but we were looking for a place that only offered memory care rather than having assisted living too. It was more expensive and location was not ideal for family.

I love this community and it would be a good place for your loved one. They have activities like work outs, crafts, gardening, games, shows, theater videos, live shows that come in, bingo and more to keep the residents busy.
