My father is currently a resident at Addington Place of Brunswick and the experience has been great so far. [name removed] was amazing and so helpful with getting my father settled in. [name removed] corresponds with me often to give me updates on my father's activities. The staff is great! The cleanliness and friendliness are also great. I would recommend this facility to others.

The main reasons we chose Addington Place of Clarkston was because of the very caring, dedicated staff. They offer many activities daily, and very clean facilities. My loved one is in memory care and she has a private room, it is a good size for all that she needs. I highly recommend this facility, the staff goes above and beyond for patients needs. Addington Place is wonderful and my mother is very happy there!

What we like most about the Garden Way Place is that probably 95% of the staff members working there work really well with our loved one and with our family. They have a great line of communication as well as great quality of care. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

I tell my friends, I want to live at Acclaim. We picked this community, because they have more activities, that my loved one would engage in. Travel to grocery stores, outside activities provided. Place is bright and airy. Makes Mom happy. Always something to do to keep her busy. I would recommend to others for sure.

Staff is very much aware of their residents. Is in timely contact with designated family member if anything arises.

Dad’s experience at Baywinde Sage Harbor was a very good one. He had many caring aides and nurses and the caring went all the way to the top administrators. The meals were good and the staff always were helpful. We are thankful to have had a great place for him in his declining years.

I would rate each of these categories at a 5! I am very pleased with the facility! The staff is wonderful and so friendly and caring, especially the CNAs who work in the afternoon and evening. My husband has made a nice adjustment! They treat the patients with dignity and respect. They call them by name always. They are so cheerful and can calm patients who are anxious and sad with conversation with that person. The tone of their voice as well as facial expressions are comforting. I cannot emphasize enough about the care they give the patients is so above and beyond admirable. Many of these CNAs are young but have the traits and instincts that offer an invaluable service to the patients.

My only remark is that there is not enough staff as many have left. I do not know the reasons but the remaining staff works very hard to keep the residents happy. It is obvious that they are understaffed however. I would still absolutely recommend Acclaim at East Beach to others looking.

The staff here is awsome and the other tenants are very friendly and interesting !! I would recommend, the Breakers at Edgewater Beach to any one at any time ..you defently get your money worth!!!!!!

When it comes to the meals, our loved ones mom doesn't love the food and her only complaint so far. Dinner is least fave....breakfast is best. For the value for cost, it is still early days but so far so good. We would recommend this community to other families especially if they want activities! Bridge, arts & crafts, exercises, nightly movies, weekly trips to local grocery store, lunch and dinner outings, outings to baseball games, the symphony, ballet, opera, museums, and daily happy hours from 4-5, often w entertainment. With many residents participating.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with Lincolnwood Place. The staff is competent, responsive, and caring towards the residents and families. Everyone is friendly. We are happy our loved one is here. Overall, this is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones.

The staff are very supportive and friendly - they are outstanding. The facility is very clean. There are many vets here and it is next to the Little Creek Navy Basse. The restaurant is good and has a great selection on the menu. There are many scheduled activities. It is expensive, but I thought worth the money. They are building an assisted living building next door. It is worth the time to check out!

What we like most about North Shore Place is that our loved one is safe. Being in a community with nursing staff on each floor is good. The meals prepared are very good and the staff members are friendly and kind. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the community to others.

Our Activities Director at the Sheridan of Oak Brook rewards its residents with numerous wonderful activities and events that result in large crowds. One significant activity, a favorite of mine, occurs annually and is identified as “ Show and Tell”. Residents are encouraged to bring to a gathering, a special item to share with others attending. They are to bring along a story of why the item is important to them in their life. Often it’s a photo, memento or keepsake that has special meaning to the resident . I’ve been to two of these and love to hear the stories and expressions of joy, sadness, emotion within the memory associated with the item presented. Usually the story brings tears from those in the audience. No doubt it’s a meaningful program and well attended and appreciated by all. It seems to bring a closeness fo those here and hugs afterward. We’ve all been involved in “ Show and Tell” as youngsters, but these stories in our later years are very special

5 stars all the way around! Everyone here was very friendly, they were wonderful as my mom was recovering from surgery. Having custom home care on site to do medication management has been a game changer too. She has a studio apartment which is very spacious and great for what she needs. Mom really likes the food and has been really engaged in the activities that are provided. I would recommend Lincolnwood Place.

Addington Place of Stuart is constantly finding new ways to stimulate their residents!! Particularly in Memory Care, the hardest group to entertain and stimulate. Art, music, theatre, reading, games, gardening, (Moms favorite, the veggies are growing). Most of all is the stimulation of LOVE. The extra moments that most of the caregivers provides makes all the difference!

I would highly recommend this independent living residency to family and friends. It has CHANGED for the BETTER. So many activities, excellent quality food and many outings to Wegman's, GEVA and Red Wings games. Wonderful location right next to the Y.

The staff at Moorehead Place is very friendly and compassionate. They answer all my questions immediately. My mother is very very happy with the staff.

The staff seemed very caring. As my mother descended into death, they were very compassionate. They even offered food to me because I was there a lot.

I would say the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. They really do go that extra mile to accommodate their incoming residents. I had a lot of questions and made a lot of visits to the Sheridan before selecting them and overall, I really liked the facility as it was new and it was very clean and well-kept/beautifully decorated. The food is very good. I've eaten there quite a few times with my mom. She had some health difficulties when she first moved in, but I stayed in touch with the staff, and they were great and accommodating and always answered quickly. I would definitely recommend the Sheridan. It is a bit pricier than some facilities but my mom loves the new atmosphere and design of the facility. They have a lot to offer the residents if they chose to get involved. Another great thing is that it's a rather small facility, and the staff knows every resident by name and also pays attention to how often they see them and if for some reason they haven't seen them for dinner in a while they go knock on the door and check to make sure everything's OK and that's comforting for me.
