There is only one bathroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. There is no dishwasher or microwave in the kitchen. I had no ice cube tray in the freezer. There is no washer and dryer. Hook up space did not have electric outlet. I had to buy stackable washer and dryer but door to space doesn't fit. Shower is small. Salon doesn't do gels or acrylic or pedicures. Games are offered but difficult to get in to established foursomes. Meals are decent but wine or beer only is available on Friday and only one. is offered. Happy hour one drink is offered every Thursday.

Don't send someone who needs people to check in and make sure they are actually coming down for meals/not holing up in their apartment. I asked when she moved in and they promised they would. The vegetarian options were extremely limited and repetitive. Pasta with sauce multiple times a week A few months later she went over 30 hours without eating. No one checked in even when I asked.

The staff is nice. Food needs improvement. No fresh fruits or vegetables that I can see . Processed food. The care takers are very nice with the clients.

I would just say that the management team is not 100% honest in what they say. You really need to be local so you can personally check on your own loved one. They just tell you what they think you want to hear.

Overall, pretty good. We picked this community because of the location, amenities, price etc.

Facility is very conveniently located for South Tampa families and is very tastefully decorated and has lots of activities for socialization. However, facility is located in a flood zone that requires evacuation during hurricanes and the communication with family members can be improved. It is helpful to hire personal caregivers to supplement the staff depending on the condition of your loved one.

The med techs and nurses are awesome. The Director not so much. Took her forever to get back. We are no longer at this facility. The food looked cheap and not appetizing.

Friendliness of staff - my initial contact was [removed] who was fantastic, a combination of sales and onboarding. He was patient and checked in approximately every 3 to 4 weeks while I reviewed and visited other properties. But once my parents moved in and [name removed] was promoted to another role, the friendliness and helpfulness of their team stopped ABRUPTLY. The assisted living and rehab are terrible. I came in to visit my father who has dementia and was in rehab as a fall risk was sitting on the toilet by himself. Not fully staffed and while he was there, imagine a 90 year old man with dementia and his 86 year old wife having to sit with you for up to 9 hours a day just to insure you are fed a hot meal, and to have clothes changed and you are charging people high amounts. People need to know. My girlfriend told me about her experience when her mom needed memory care....it wasn't good and I should have listened. But compared to some other places, I thought Evergreen would be better. But it isn't, do yes, use it.

[name removed] likes it there. It is a clean place. The food is cold and awful. That is the worst part of the place. The people that work there are professional and kind. The grounds are beautiful.

When it comes to the care services, there is not enough staff to watch residents. We felt she was kept in bed as a way of keeping her from falling. The food was ok, but my mother needed someone to feed her at times and people not always available. It was at a reasonable rate based on the other facilities in the area, so I assume we get what we paid for

Management had issues with conducting regular cleaning (residents went six or more weeks without cleaning services and were not compensated for it) and they regularly ran out of entrees at dinner time. I would still recommend Baywinde Senior Living to others.

Beautiful facility, spotless , good food most staff are good just not enough qualified staff ... overall it is a nice place would recommend to others ... best facility in the area.

My loved one has not lived there since the end of November. They did not have the capability to care for him, so they asked him to leave. He moved to [facility name removed] which is a much better fit for him- better caregiver/resident ratios.

It's really sad that has gone down hills so quickly since we moved in 19 months ago They didn't have an activity director until 2 months ago. The management staff does not properly train the caregiver as. They need more trained CNA's.

The place is clean. The care is not the best. The meals are fair. I would not recommend the place.

Pros: smaller community. Less chaotic. Good for memory impaired. Cons: they eliminated activities, citing not enough residents to cover costs. Dark common areas. Lots of TV - not activities. No cable, so no variety. Food is very unhealthy. Hot dogs. Nursing care is poor. Lack of attention to actual heath urgencies.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the staff at The Breakers. They are helpful and caring--always smiling and polite. From when I moved in and one of the movers broke a light fixture. It was cleaned up and replaced before I knew it. If I have a problem they are quick to respond and offer assistance. Thank you for the care and attention.

It was a lovely community- however communication was not good.

Both my parents now reside at Addington Place of Clarkston and are adjusting fairly well. Mom has been in the hospital about one month of the time that they’ve been there and they arrived on [name removed]. One of the biggest problems is the food being cold, and as my parents put it difficult to eat due to spices that they are not used to such as garlic and spicy barbecue sauces. My parents are from the south and they’re used to certain types of food preparations but they are trying to adjust. The other problem that we are dealing with is the difficulty with communication between the medical staff and myself. I was their primary caregiver prior to placing them at Addington and I received very little input, even though I reach out for updates. Lastly my parents deal with complaints by staff due to staff shortages making my parents feel guilty when they need to ask for help

It's a lovely facility. I believe they often have similar meals on repeat in the memory care facility. Workers are very nice and they keep residents together, out of their rooms and interacting. It's always good to visit and stay on top of your loved ones care. Label their belongings as frequently things go missing. They did always come back.
