We toured with Woodbourne Place. We did really like the staff that we met with. The main reason we did not choose this facility was because it felt small and cramped inside.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one wasn't happy here. The food was awful here during the time my loved one was here. This is important, as this is something residents look forward. Most of the time they were serving hot dogs. The big meal is served at lunch time, and dinner is a lighter meal. The community said there were choices, but it didn't appear to be any. The staff communication with the family was okay.

I toured The Club at Briarcliff Manor and it was pretty good. It's an older facility and not as clean as some of the other facilities that I toured. They didn't seem as friendly compared to some others that I toured, either. But again, this is based off of just a tour.

I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We had a ton of issues with the administration out of the gate. Promises not kept, very poor communication, rudeness and lack of empathy, finally my mom got to move in about 2 weeks later than expected with no refund for the delay. I was also overcharged the first month and has to wait until the next month for a resolution. Food is low quality. I don't feel like the building is secure or that anyone is really checking on her well being. Seems like they are struggling with staffing. Generally it feels like we are paying for an extremely expensive apartment not an independent living facility. It's unfortunate because it's hard on all of us for her to move again. We are currently in the process of deciding her next steps but she won't be staying at courtyard fountains long term. Improvements that could be made are with the staffing, maybe security(more checkups), care And communication. Generally pretty much everything except the apartment itself is really nice and the maintenance guys are very kind and helpful. I would 100% not recommend anyone I know to live there. Definitely and meals. I've heard from others that they are low quality, small portions etc. I personally feel that is a big chunk of what we pay extra for so it's important. My mom only gets [fee removed] monthly in food stamps and her entire income + additional money that my brother and I pay go toward courtyard fountains rent + costs.

I toured Prairie Green at Fay's Point and it was okay. It didn't appear to be as clean as some of the other facilities that I toured. They also didn't offer the same amenities here as they do at some others. The staff was nice enough.

The actual facility was nice, location was good, good activities and transport to local stores. Welcome and orientation was lacking and not well coordinated. Food is not very good, believe they were without a true chef for a while. Went from 2 to 1 hot breakfast weekly. They are priced well above comparable options. Increased my mother's rent after 4 months. Moving after 6 months to a comparable facility. Gaining an extra bedroom and saving $1,200 a month. My mom was also unhappy with the fact that they did not provide cable TV in the monthly rent.

I've lived here 8 years. Management emphasizes the word "independent" living all the time. So resident conflicts are left up to residents to solve themselves. That seems to have led to some spreading rumors about others that the less alert believe. It's difficult to solve things like this without management support.

I toured this community. It's an older facility and definitely seems like more of a nursing home setting than an assisted living facility. Their regular tour guide was gone that day and the person who stepped in wasn't as knowledgeable or able to answer our questions. I will say, the regular tour guide did reach out to me and follow up/offer to answer questions I had.

Copper Springs is cheaper than any other place I found. But the activities, meals, and care need improvement.

We have some concerns about the system to check on residents. Also the elevators take forever & are regularly having at least one out-of-service, so it can be very frustrating. Everything is clean & staff is generally okay & friendly.

The staff were all really nice, but it took them a while to be able to come and visit my loved one and we were needing something pretty quick. When we went to tour we got more of a clinical feeling from the look of the faciliity. We also saw a lot of the staff sitting around on their phones which did not make me feel confident in them.

We felt they did not sell the place very well during our tour. They did not offer 3 meals a day, 5 days a week. They also did not offer a free gym membership. They did not offer a lot of amenities that we were looking for which was why we chose a different facility.

The apartments are the most spacious I have seen in the area. and the community is beautiful. Depending on the level of care your loved one needs, I would think twice about this community. The family will need to be very involved in the care needed for their loved one. The community isn't full staffed to care for the residents' however, the staff they have is lovely. My loved one doesn't care for the food offered. There are several residents that don't care for the taste and options available for meals. They aren't able to accommodate some dietary restrictions, and they sometimes offer a low salt option. The temperature of the food is improving after the community has received feedback from residents about this. If you need your meal delivered to your room due to being ill, the meals may not show up.

We really like the hominess of the facility, it does not feel like a nursing home but it really has that family orientated environment and our loved one is very happy there. She absolutely loves the meals and dining service and the activities she likes to participate in she enjoys. However they could work to improve and the nurse responsiveness to families especially when it comes to medication management.

They are short staffed just like everyone else is. It does not seem like there is a lot going on - at least with her. They do call us and keep us well informed and updated on what is going on and if there are any changes. They are as attentive as they can be during these difficult times.

Our family had an in person tour and it was not a bad tour experience it was just not what we had hoped for or expected

Just like other places right now Addington Place just did not have enough staffing to adequality service their cliental

The staff were very nice but the community was very spread out and it did not work for the layout that we wanted for my loved one. It just didn't feel very homey and my loved one had trouble getting through it due to how much walking is required.
