The staff was very helpful and understanding. It is a beautiful facility. be careful of hidden fees which are common at many facilities.

The staff is friendly and helpful. There are good social activities. It is Clean and they have Good food. Also [name removed], Director at Studio Royale has been great! Always available and very supportive of [name removed]! Bad - they don't answer the phone.

We liked it as the Commons better. Not much experience with Savant as my dad left in[date removed] (needed more care). The admin staff was kind of frustrating to work with but they were nice and did try to accommodate where they could. The caretaking staff are wonderful but some may have left in the switchover to Savant. overall my family was very please with my dad's care and experience at the Commons. We are grateful to your org for helping us find this home.

Staff were friendly - although they were constantly short staffed. They need more staff for patient support and care so you do not have to wait hours for help.

My uncle really likes the facility and so we his family. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my uncle's needs. They are in constant communication with me if they there is a need. As far as improvement maybe a monthly or quarterly check in on how he is doing such as activities. Just a thought.

It's one of the few assisted living places that pass the sniff test for cleanliness. Its history of outstanding care and service is still in its institutional memory. I liked it better before Cogir assumed full leadership. The transition to all the legalese has been hard for some. But I think my brother is very well cared for.

I was most impressed with the quality of your staff, doing the care. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant, helpful, and always trying to do their best and even go beyond! My mom was in the memory care section, which is much more demanding and difficult on the staff. My hat goes off to all of them, their jobs are not easy.

Reasons we chose this facility: Proximity to my mom's needs. I was looking for a smaller facility with more hands on. Also the original people who contacted me sales and medical were very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Weekend staff is a little light. Cafeteria food is hit and miss, they recently lost a very good head chef.

Studio Royale is a nice place. My godmother could no longer do some things on her own at her home. [name removed] was able to help me with the process of getting an apartment and care for my godmother. I would recommend Studio Royale to anyone who is looking for place for their love one.

I would say overall it has been pleasant, and mom has made great friends. But the staff leadership tend to make promises and then not follow through. So it is a lot of asking for the same thing over and over. But she is happy, and taken care of, so that is what matters most.

We love [name removed] at the front desk, [name removed] and [name removed] are nurses they are great!! We would recommend Savant of Santa Monica to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Since my loved one (my cousin) is living independently, I don’t interact with staff much at all. When I do, they are friendly and willing to help. My cousin say food is ok and chef is trying to introduce more plant-based recipes per his request. I can say the intake process was smooth, I love the fresh floral arrangements everywhere, am hopeful they will spruce up the common areas as they are a tad tired.

Brookdale just seemed like the best overall fit for Dad. It feels like a place he might choose for himself. The others that we looked at didn't feel quite as homey. Plus, I liked the location, which is surrounded by many stores and restaurants. The process was smooth and took off a tremendous weight of concern from our shoulders, this is the best place/home for our loved one.

I was there just a few times as my cousin ended up being the primary contact at that time. Accessibility for entering & exiting was my only peeve as it was often awkward to get her into/out of a car when taking her out. It was also difficult when I would take my mother to visa she uses a walker. I would overall recommend Brookdale Valley View

My father passed away on [date removed]while he was at Pacifica Senior Living. I was lucky to be with him at the very end. I appreciate all the guidance, education and compassion A Place for Mom provided me during this challenging time in my life. Everyone at Pacifica Senior Living was so kind to my father and incredibly helpful to me as I navigated this unfamiliar path of helping my father in his last days. I felt we were treated with respect and compassion across all the coverage shifts. When I left my father at the end of each day, I knew the staff was going to do their best to keep him safe and taken care of. It gave me peace-of-mind knowing someone else was invested in the my father's care as much me.

Searching for a place where your parent can age with dignity and in a safe nurturing environment takes an abundance of patience and care. I am also in the housing industry and for over 17 years I’ve committed myself to assuring that housing with a strong structure, and supportive services, bonded by a heart beat of compassion for underserved populations is attainable. So here I am searching for a place for my Pop. Using my experience to vet each referra.The process has been challenging but [name removed] at Studio Royale greeted us with grace and compassion and from their the stress began melting away. Everyone we met was pleasant the building was clean and my father even had a chance to sample a meal which he enjoyed. The application was not a daunting task requiring endless amounts of documentation So, from one housing professional to another, [name removed] the work you do does matter but how you perform the task matters more and you are a shining light. ??

The people staff at Pacifica are very friendly and helpful. However, there are simply not enough of them. Also, the business office seems very disorganized - especially regarding billing and electronic communications. Overall, Pacifica has been helpful but my father often has to wait a long time for assistance.

There was a huge gap in communication which left my brother with zero care for a week. The care that he received from hospice was very satisfactory, even though he was not the most pleasant and did not want company, but I think his family needed to know more about his care than we were told. There were things we could have been doing for him that we were not aware of. I ended up trimming his toenails giving him lifting him off of his bed and onto his wheelchair and onto the toilet and back again which I'm 75 years old and that was very very difficult for me so I don't know whose fault that was it could've been his fault because he did not want anybody a stranger to touch him.

It seemed like great value when he started there last may, but they added big increases on 1/1 and I worry about the future if their increases continue as large as this year. He has gained weight which is good! He does not participate in the activities. I have only interfaced with a couple of the staff and they have seemed good and receptive with requests. It's hard as I have to fly to visit him so I'm not able to get there very often.

the facility has wonderful caretakers who get to know each residents. The activities director really tries to bring the residents together. The ladies at the front are always very helpful and professional.
