Great value. Very clean. Nice rooms. Very friendly and accommodating. Meals are not great and could be greatly improved but breakfasts are very good. Safe community and close to everything, including hospitals, doctors, restaurants, banks, shopping.

The environment at Brookdale North Tarzana, from the administrative staff to the residents, is warm, pleasant and welcoming. The surroundings are attractive and the meals are excellent --with variety of choices. My only concern is that parking for the family/visitors is difficult and limited. I would gladly recommend this Senior Living Community.

It's a very clean place, very nicely kept. We love the staff and they seem to be really responsive whenever I bring anything up. There seem to be plenty of activities, going on and she gets along with the other residents, and loves being social. The food seems to be kind of hit and miss, and the residents seem to be talking about stuff being stolen from their rooms, but I can't imagine the community would let that go on, and my mom isn't missing anything. Over all it seems to be a pretty good place, hopefully the stealing thing is just a rumor.

We are pleased with the place. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. They are keeping us informed all the time on what's going on. It looks like everything is working out. They have games, and activities, I'm not sure how much our loved one is participating, but it's offered.

My parents lived here for a while. It was pretty good in the assisted living. Once it came time for memory care, I wasn't sure. They did a good job with the assisted living. They had some issues, there was a lot of change over in staff. They went through three directors in two years. I felt that we were ready for something that offered more experience with memory care.

So far I think they've done an excellent job at Arcadia Village. It is a nice looking, well kept, clean community, and the staff have all been very friendly. I live out of state, and they've been very accommodating of that fact, both during the move-in process and afterwards with their constant communication. Price was a big concern during our search and I found that they offer a high level of care and services for what they charge.

Sharon was wonderful-- I went there first then brought mom for dinner and a tour. Residents were very nice and reached out to my mom. Food was fair. Waitress was sweet and attentive. Nice activities including movies. Location is perfect-- near shopping center mom frequents.

Unfortunately our loved one's stay at Villa Rose was only a short one, but overall I thought it was a very nice place. The staff were very friendly and caring, and they seemed to take good care of the residents. Unfortunately they did not have enough night staff to adequately handle our loved ones wandering issues. But I would say this place is worth a look for anyone whose loved one doesn't have that particular issue.

They have done a pretty good job. We have used them for a respite stay a few times now. The thing is that the last time I brought him home, he hadn't had a shower, if he says no then, they can't do it. I don't know if that would be different if he was a resident, but I didn't realize that. The staff there is awesome to him. They do a lot of celebration stuff, they are very excited for Halloween, and they have lots of plans. They do seem to be very focused on the residents there. They will do a week stay not just a two week minimum, which is hard to find, and the price is fair. It's pretty clean. However every time we go in, the T.V. isn't hooked up, and they knew he was coming. But they do call for someone right away, but it's very important to my loved one, and I communicated that to them. I have recommended it, and would recommend it again.

This facility was organized with a friendly staff and the patients there seem happy and content. The rooms appeared to be clean and modern but the hallway carpet could use a replacement. The general manager Nestor was patient and informative, seemingly a caring man. I would consider this home but must check out others also.

She is happy. It's kept clean, and the staff is pretty friendly. They are pretty attentive and responsive. There really isn't anything I think needs to be improved or done better. She is happy and that is the most important thing.

The Commons at Woodland Hills is a great community overall and I highly recommend it for seniors who need some or a lot of assistance. The only issue we had was regarding medication administration. In the Common's contract there is one page regarding this stating that seniors who administer their own medications cannot use weekly planners (i.e. Sun-Sat pill boxes) but must dole out their medications each day. This is false and misleading. A senior has every right to use a weekly planner for their medication if that is what they are used to.

Stacie's amazing. Unfortunately, the price she quoted me for the apartment that would suit my parents best is still out of their price range. I may still try to get them to visit tomorrow and see if we can work out a deal.

As in all places, some caregivers are better than others. a few policies have recently changed relating to feeding times. The food is almost all pre-prepared and then reheated. "Home cooked" would be an improvement. The medical staff is excellent.

The only problem was that they had started to raise the prices beyond what I could afford. The people and staff where very nice. The food was very good, but the reason I left was the price. They’re real nice though.

The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful, all while maintaining professionalism. The caring for the clients goes beyond just doing their job - they truly care. They are prompt and attentive and treat their clients like adults - with respect and dignity. They greet each client by name every time they pass in the hall, ask how they can be of help yet give people their privacy. From the director who leads with grace and care, to the nurse and med staff who listen and gently tend to their patients, to the dining staff who prepare and serve each delicious meal, to the housekeeping & maintenance staff who treat the facility like its their own home and the clients like family - the quality of care shows.

Lovely property. The staff was extremely friendly but it appears that only certain people are granted full access to be able to answer the appropriate questions relating to pricing and placement - this can be a bit of an inconvenience. My mother and I had the pleasure to visit and also had lunch. was adequate. the kindness of the staff makes this place exceptional, but the lack of knowledge and returned calls from lower staff members was disappointing. Stacie is beyond awesome! Overall, excellent service and nice property!

So far everything has been great. She seems to be happy. So far I've been pretty impressed with it. When it comes to the care services, I'm not there, I can't really comment on those. I think the activities are lacking a little bit, she goes down but doesn't participate much. There doesn't seem to be many outings as when we first saw it, that could be because of the time of year. She feels very safe there. Part of why we chose this was the affordability and it had all the criteria I was looking for, for her. It seemed to meet all of her needs.

They do a lot, but she is not really interested. There are a few things they could improve on, but as a whole, that place is a lot better than most of them. Not like this place is awesome, but some of the places I have looked at are way worse. It's a smaller facility with less people, and the staff was really kind and nice.
