We love the management at the Prarie Rose. I don't have any complaints about this community so far, it seems like they're very accommodating, friendly and nice. The thing we like the most is how caring the people that work here are. The owner lives on site, so it feels like a big family. The place is clean and they have light maintenance for each apartment, it's only a limited amount of time, though. They do laundry but not personal laundry. They provide 3 meals a day, and always have fruit and coffee. In my mother's apartment, there is a sink and small countertop with a full-size refrigerator. They have a big activity room and have multiple outings, they will be taking them to see Christmas lights soon which sounds very exciting.

I did not expect to feel positive about this place - just due to distance from my husband and I in Leander. But I really loved it! It is older and 'worn' a bit but the setting is beautiful! The outdoor areas are lovely and relaxing. It feels very comfortable and liveable. [Removed] was very helpful - talked to many residents by name and clearly knew them and their stories. Several groups were gathered and lively in the activity areas. People seemed happy and engaged. Really liked the 2 bedroom Independent Living apartment - french doors onto the courtyard/outside garden was great. Loved all the resources available 'in house' (Home Health, Caregivers, etc.)

The community is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The place is kept very clean and the maintenance does an excellent job. They have about 4 to 5 different activities daily. They also have manicures for the ladies once a week, my mother really enjoys that. The meals are in good portions, my mother doesn't always like what they serve but they are open to requests if needed. The only complaint I have is on the buzzers, sometimes when my mother presses it, it takes a while before someone gets to her.

My parents are very comfortable living in the Lyndale Abilene. The place is very clean and well maintained. The community offers a variety of activities such as movie nights, ice cream socials, and a game room. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone looking for a good community.

My aunt and uncle are doing great in their new apartment. They toured a couple facilities and liked this community because it was new, it had the 2 bedroom apartment they wanted, and it is not too far from their home and their family. The community is clean and well kept. They are eating the meals that is prepared by the community.

Isle of Kingwood was the last place my sister and I visited but it was our first choice for our mom. The staff was so kind and sweet and caring. The building is very warm and homey. It is decorated for the seasons and always clean. We are close by to assist with any tweaks in her care but are confident that if we are gone for any length of time she couldn't be better cared for.

The Isle at Kingwood has been great. My loved ones are very happy. The staff is wonderful, the director even gave us his personal cell and told us if we needed anything we could call or text him at any time. The place is always kept very clean, it has a fancy hotel feel to it. It always smells clean when we visit.

The staff at this community have been wonderful. The community is small so the staff is able to be very attentive. The place itself is immaculate, the maintenance does a very good job. The room my mother is in fits her needs, which was very important to us. I haven't had a chance to try the meals myself but the food looks good. I would defiantly recommend this place to a friend.

My loved ones favorite part of the day is dinner time, they have restaurant quality food and they always have a wide variety of food for the residents to choose from. They also have a great activity program which offers various events as well as different popcorn and ice cream socials. The staff have been nothing but amazing and attentive to my brothers needs. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I am very pleased with the community. It is new, only opened 1 1/2 years ago. [Removed] has been very helpful and friendly. Any time I would call to express a need my mom had, [Removed] took care of it very quickly. She has gone above and beyond to make sure all our concerns are alleviated. I also like the way she has time for all the residents at The Sycamores. She never seems too busy to talk to anyone. I have been very pleased with the staff and the care my mom is getting. "Dan the Man" plans activities and makes sure My mom gets to the activities. He is very kind and caring and so sweet to her. This is his "gift". Other staff members to be commended are the dining manager, Christina, who is also concerned about Mom and making sure her needs are met and that she is happy at The Sycamores. Also, [Removed], who provides support for Mom showering and getting her to the dining hall. She is always friendly and has a smile on her face. These staff members truly seem to enjoy their jobs and taking care of these seniors. I have only mentioned a few staff members by name, but most all the staff I have come in contact with have been very friendly and helpful. The Sycamores was recommended to me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for assisted living for a loved one.

My 93 year old mother went here for a two week respite stay while I was out of town. I felt very safe with her there, she felt safe and comfortable. She said the food was great. It is served restaurant-style...menus, linen tablecloths, etc. Caregivers come to the room to assist in getting to/from meals and activities. They will bring meals to the room for a service charge, but the goal is to have residents get out of their rooms and see and/or interact with others. Games and activities are offered. My mom lives alone with part-time caregivers coming in a few days a week, so this was a perfect place for her...there are other levels of care offered for those requiring more assistance. The cost was reasonable compared to other places I have looked at. This place treats everyone with respect, friendship, and competency. And, for safety and quick response, my mom wore a button around her neck that she would push whenever she needed assistance, response was quick!

When you walk in there is stairway with a chandelier hanging in the entry. I thought it was a beautiful place and the room was nice with a home feeling. The invited us for a meal. The food was very great and they had great options to pick from. It was a fantastic tour but my mom thought is was a little too fancy for her.

The Walnut Creek community has been providing good services for my grandmother. I feel that she is in a safe place with caring staff that also communicate well. I would recommend this place to friends and family they offer tasty healthy meals and great activities as well.

Visited my Dad and really like this place! He is eating much better. I had lunch with him and the food is good!! Blessing that he is allowed to use his motorized wheelchair which has increased his participation in activities. Place is clean and staff is very friendly. Someone is always at front desk to make sure visitors sign in which I appreciated very much. Grounds and parking lot area are clean and well maintained. Staff is also helpful and ready to help find the right person to answer a question.

We are super pleased with The Brennity. They have done a fabulous job with making my loved one feel at home. They have great staff that is friendly and helpful and I really feel like they care. They have many activities to do with the residents. They also allow pets and have a beautiful outdoors area.

My father is doing very well here at this community. Everything has worked out very well for him here. This is a lovely community. We have had a great experience at this community so far. The staff is great, they have been helpful and kind. He is very pleased with the meals, the food is very good. I know he is safe and in good hands here. He has a beautiful patio that over looks the local country club, which is a big plus for him. I would recommend this community, it is lovely community.

When i took my tour of the community i thought it was very organized. The activities seemed great there were so many that my loved one would have available to choose from. Some activities were yoga, art, and cooking classes. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and he did explain meal plans and other common areas available.

It feels like home! When you enter you can feel the good "vibes". The staff and residents are very caring and friendly. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. We specially like the "cottages". It is a good transition from large home to a smaller one. Having an over-sized garage for your car and "stuff" as well as a fenced in backyard to enjoy is wonderful! We have lots to be thankful for.

Fox Run is a very friendly and well kept independent living facility. My mother moved there several weeks ago and is loving her new home. She has met so many wonderful people. She loves all the activities offered. The staff is very caring and helpful. This is a perfect place for my mom.

I have really enjoyed my stay so far at this community, the staff have all done an excellent job at making sure I am comfortable and that my needs are being met. The meals are very tasty with healthy options and perfect sized proportions. I have really enjoyed the activities they offer throughout the day including the exercise class.
