I have lived here almost 2 years and really love it. No cooking, little cleaning, lots of activities. The staff is very caring. You can always find something on the menu you like. Everything is very close without having to get on major highways. It is a very caring community.

Heritage Oaks is home! The staff are great! The management team and "sales manager" are the best! They know what we like and they provide it to us! They meet all our needs. The good is good. Meals are great. Kitchen staff want to please us. If we have a special order, they fix it. The residents at Heritage Oaks become so close that we want to be together all the time. We help each other. If a resident has a disability, we will help them . Our outings are good. We go out to eat. We have a good time doing that. We go to the theater. [Name removed] takes us and takes care of us. She makes sure we have help and are safe and have fun when we are out. I recommend Heritage Oaks to people all the time. I love it here!

Breakfast is my favorite meal, not necessarily the time but the food. This morning at the Prairie Rose I arrived about twenty minutes before breakfast started. I had a cup of coffee and read the news from my smartphone. Others were reading the local paper, but I like news from different sources, however, that is a different story. At 8:00 am one of the wait staff started coffee refills, followed shortly by the oatmeal cart. This morning I decided to have oatmeal. With your oatmeal you have a choice of raisins, brown sugar, warm milk or all of the above. Regular sugar and other condiments are always on the table. Following the oatmeal cart was another cart with drinks, cold cereal and fruit. I always have a class of milk and either orange or cranberry juice. If I don’t have oatmeal, I will normally have a dish of orange slices. Every morning they will have a featured breakfast item like “Breakfast Casserole, Waffles, Pancakes, Cinnamon rolls and my favorite Biscuit & Sausage Gravy.” I have tried them all and the featured items are excellent. This morning I had: Three eggs over medium, bacon and raisin toast. Did I mention the wait staff is doing coffee refills? If you rather do it yourself, there is always coffee at the coffee bar. I have said it before, if you go away hungry, it is your fault.

I have been well taken care of. There are no major faults. I am happy with my lifestyle although I would rather be living independently. My favorite activities are BINGO. I get up when I want to - that's around 11am. The kitchen staff are very good to me. They let me choose what foods I want to eat and when. The staff are fantastic including the Sales Director. They take care of me well.

I think everything here at Heritage Oaks is wonderful. I don't think I would be happier anywhere else. The people here are so good. The staff are wonderful. I just love all the girls. The food is very good. I enjoy every meal. All I am going to give you are accolades because I am very happy here.

I like living here even though I would rather be at my own home. The girls come every time I push my button. They are very nice to me. Our housekeeper is really good. She does a great job cleaning and is very nice. The rehab company does a great job. I like doing exercises with them.

The meals Heritage Oaks provide are wonderful. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I love the people here. The help are wonderful people. I love them all. In comparison to other places it is really quite reasonable. My favorite thing to do here is spending time with my friends. We are just a big family. I like going to the theater but I love visiting with everyone. I would absolutely recommend Heritage Oaks to anyone wanting to live here.

I like the popcorn the most! They serve it every day. Heritage Oaks is animal friendly. I have my cat peek-a-boo here with me. The staff is overworked but very cheerful about it. Meals are always on time. Sometimes they are good. Sometimes they are excellent. Management is under staffed but efficient. Sometimes they are too busy for personal visits. It is the busiest place I have ever been at. I miss having music every week.

My Dad was a resident of Brayden Park for the last years of his life. The staff was wonderful! They were kind and helpful, allowing him as much independence as he could handle while always being there to help. The food was mostly good. The room was very nice and kept very clean. There were lots of activities, especially music that he enjoyed. As he worsened, he was able to move from Assisted Living to Memory Care and was able to complete his life in the place he had called home. There was always more help available as it was needed. The staff always called me when there was a change or something concerning, they knew him and noticed little changes. I will always be grateful to the staff of Brayden Park, they made a very difficult time much more pleasant.

There is always something to do or someone to swap stories with. I am not lonely anymore.

From the warm reception to the top of the managers down to the residents this place is amazing

I have personally toured this community and have had at least three of my previous in home care clients move into Heritage Oaks. I enjoy stopping by to visit with my previous clients to check on them and find the staff at Heritage Oaks so genuine in all they do for their residents. If you are looking for Assisted or Memory Care...stop by Heritage Oaks and see what makes them different!

I have toured several communities, and Heritage Oaks is my favorite, by far. I think it is the most beautiful facility I've ever seen, both inside and out. The front porch and landscaping are very nice to come home to and I love the grand, open living room as soon as you walk in. The sales director that showed us around was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, not only in her community, but in all aspects of senior living. This is first on our list for my Mom's home away from home.

My mom was so happy here. She made lots of wonderful friends.

I highly recommend it here. My community is very loving and caring. We have many various activities including going out for the symphony and many performers come in and entertain us (and out to lunch). Our minds are challenged with Trivia and our bodies are nourished with healthy food. The average ages are well in the 80's-90's - 2 people will become 100 in Dec 2019 and Jan 2020. We have people in their 60's and 70's too.

When you first move into a retirement home, in our case the Prairie Rose, you are a stranger. You are hesitant about what to expect, what the rules are both official and unofficial. At mealtimes, when everyone takes a seat, where do you sit? The staff helps with that but to be honest, it will take some time. It is a lot like moving into a new neighborhood except it is in a more confined environment where you associate with other residents daily. At the Prairie Rose we have found the staff and majority of residents go out of their way to make new people welcome, so much so it seemed a little overwhelming in the beginning. Be assured the “newbie feeling” will go away quickly. You will find, in a short period of time the staff become “friends” and the residents, for lack of a better phrase, a “kinship group.”

I enjoy living at Alamo Ranch. The services offered are appreciated including weekly housekeeping My current housekeeper [name removed] is very accommodating and does a good job.

[Name removed] and the ladies did a great job at getting our parents to feel comfortable with the idea of moving in to the Renaissance. They took the time to provide two tours over a few weeks time, never once trying to pressure our parents, they invited them to eat in the dining room and made sure they met other people who live in the community there. Since they have moved in, they are encouraged to participate in the activities, treated as part of the community, and feel a welcomed part of the place. The great call system (emergency call system) is fantastic, it works if they fall, get lost, or can't be found. So far they have not needed to use them, but it is a piece of mind for the family to know there is such great protection for them. The staff treats all of us as if we are part of the bigger family and we always feel welcome there when we stop by.

Was glad mom and dad found a place they love and the ppl are so nice

Since the first visit 4.5 months ago with [name removed] we knew this was where out Mother should move to. Our Mother was also extremely pleased during her visit and excited to move. Since that time I can say my Mother in law, my wife, and myself have been welcomed with open arms by all the management, staff, and residents. Our Mother has thrived and recommends the Reniassance to all her friends. One has already moved in. The food is very good, clean eating area, and the servers are very polite. If your looking for a place where your family member can thrive and enjoy theirselves this is the place for them.
