From my first phone call to The Pinnacle, through the days preceding my mom’s move, the actual physical move, and throughout these first two months of transition, I have had nothing but an extraordinary experience. The management was/is highly sensitive to the stress I carried as I made the decision to move my mom. Their encouraging words and positivity helped me navigate my mom’s anger as she adjusted to her new environment. I have been delighted beyond description at how well my, very independent, mom has adjusted despite her initial refusal to do so. The management and entire staff have embraced her as though she was their mom. There has not been a single visit where someone hasn’t called out to her by name and/or given her a hug. I can say with complete sincerity that I could not have made a better choice for my sweet little mom. I feel like she is finally thriving now instead of simply surviving from one day to the next. The Pinnacle truly feels like a loving family.

Of course no facility is perfect but they are darn close. They staff for the most part is wonderful. Very thoughtful and patient with my mom. The food is great, the facility is very clean and the activities are the best. They really do a wonderful job. We have been pleasantly surprised and are so happy that my mom is doing very well there.

It definitely felt more comfortable and inviting. The multiple activities each day and the engagement of the residents by the staff make the transition much easier. The people that work actually care about the residents

It was for Memory Care only. I felt like they were very knowledgeable on the Memory Care patient. During the tour, you could see how they interacted with the residence and it just made us have a good feeling. I love it! They have been absolutely the best!

One of the toughest decisions I ever had to make was to put my sister-in-law who was more like a sister to me in a memory care facility. But when we found the Pinnacle Memory Care I knew our prayers were answered. The staff is awesome. They’re very knowledgeable and very caring. They have helped us and stood by us as a family from day one. I highly recommend Pinnacle memory care!

Attentive staff, my loved one is well cared for, clean, well fed and I have piece of mind she is safe.

Woodland Heights is a very nice place to live. Management and employees are nice and friendly. [name removed] is an excellent executive Director. Whenever I have a problem, or issue, she is always there to solve it. She is very smart and tactful. [name removed] is our activities Director. She is an excellent planner. Her personality is unremarkable. She is nice and helpful. The food here is outstanding. [name removed] manages the kitchen very well. The food is always hot and delicious. The rooms here are very nice. Mine has 10ft ceilings, and plenty of space. The water is good. The air conditioning is awesome. If you are looking for an assisted living facility, put Woodland Heights on your list.

I was hesitant when I had to start looking at memory care, but The Pinnacle truly feels like home. From the first time I came to the community I felt welcomed, and it has a great energy. The residents are happy and engaged, and there are so many outdoor spaces residents and families can enjoy. The receptionist is especially lovely—always friendly and helpful—and the director is hands-on and responsive. I feel so much peace knowing my friend is not only safe, but genuinely loved and looked after, even when I can’t be there.

Such a daunting task and I received comfort and guidance from the people at Brookstone. They knew exactly how to help me in the process of moving my stepmom from a different facility to Brookstone, nearer to me. I would highly recommend them for your loved ones.

I have moved many times in my adult life, but this could be the last one--depending on what the end of life brings for me. Moving from Kansas City to Brookstone was intended to put me closer to my brother's family, and it has changed most of our interchanges via telephone to in-person events. Immediately prior to leaving Kansas City, I moved to assisted living, loved it, and Brookstone meets everyone of the high expectations I brought with me. Both the staff and residents are welcoming and helpful. The facility is comfortable, food is really good, and the environment relaxed. My only suggestion is that a formal orientation process be developed for new residents.

Getting my mom settled in has been a wonderful experience. Everyone has been so helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend Brookstone to others! The facility is warm and very welcoming. It offers so much to the residents living there.

I would highly recommend. We picked them because they accepted her little lap dog.

I haven't eaten there but there is always a nice variety. The value for cost seems good, but I have nothing to compare to. I liked the two big windows in his room and that there were other windows that looked out to more than just a small court yard. My husband loved the outdoors- looking at birds, trees , the sky. When I visit we will move chairs over to the windows even in the commons room.

I'll have to tell you on a scale of 5 being the best for every category and so much more! They get a 10 at least! The minute I put my trust in " A Place For Mom" . They helped us through it all. We chose Woodland Heights in Little Rock, Ar. Mom loves her apartment. She feels like part of a community. All friends and wonderful nurses and caregivers. Many activities to take part in for any interest and for any disability. They have a pool and Physical Therapy. My place for mom helper [name removed] She was great! I couldn't have done any of it with our her! The caregivers are the most loving group of people. My mom feels like they are family.

What our family likes the most about Crescent Landing is the staff. They are very friendly. I wish there were more outings and activities for my dad to attend. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families

It was beneficial that the facility cares for memory care only. The staff was great. The cost was fair. Room sizes were adequate - not large, but I don't know that memory care patients need the large rooms. Not a lot of amenities, but again - not sure these types of patients need much.

I think everyone there genuinely cared about my mom. It is a 100% memory care facility. It is small. It has amazing outdoor living space. The activities are totally designed for the residents. They celebrate every holiday and more with fun activities, parades and parties. The staff communicated well with me on a regular basis as requested.

Woodland Heights is a nice and clan facility and their staff members are friendly and responsive. When they take the residents out on outings or events I get pictures of my mom enjoying herself texted to me.

We picked this community, because of the cleanliness, love and care given, friendliness, and value for cost. She's enjoying the activities as well. As long as my mom is happy and safe; then our family is very happy as well. It's been great so far!

My loved one is currently a resident at Woodland Heights and her experience at this facility has been overall really good. The move in process was efficient and not very cumbersome at all. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Communication with the family is generally good. The staff are fairly easy to get ahold of by text or phone, and they email information out fairly well. Overall, I would recommend Woodland Heights to others.
